vodka was fed up with it, she couldn't stay in felwood. it was sickening how her mother clung to her father, and how he had the ability to wipe out the entire land but he chose to stay and wait. it wasn't just that, there were a million and one other things. it was such a mess, and she wanted out. she was tired of waiting for something to happen. she couldn't figure out how such a good girl like her mother ended up with the bastard she called her father. everything about that place made her sick.
the warm, bright sunny days didn't help either. she hated it. she hated the birds singing, and all the cute little critters that had come out. she liked it best when everything was dark and gloomy. it felt as if what was in her ice cold heart was reflected outside. she hated her mothers attitude, it was pathetic. she was always happy, the polar opposite of vodka.
she liked coming here, it was usually always dark, gloomy, and it was either quite or there was some sort of fight going on between the darks, just the way she liked it. she needed some drama, but when it got to much to handle she would come here. sometimes to find someone, and sometimes to be alone.
this time she hoped she would be the only one here, she was in a bitchy mood, feeling fed up with everything happening in felwood. whatever visitor dared cross her path was in for one hell of a time. they'd better keep their mouth shut and have some respect because she wasn't putting up with an BS today. she already felt bad for the first person to come across her.

The ebony stallion marched into the land with his head held high. He was here for one reason, and one reason only; to find mares. Finding mares was Jigsaw's life. He loved the spring, otherwise known as breeding season. He really had taken after his father in that aspect. He had grown up hating his father, the infamous Masquerade, and vowed that he would never be anything like that masked bastard. Unfortunately for him, he had turned out to be a carbon copy of his old man in his glory years. He did not know where his father was now, nor did he care. He had never cared enough to give a damn about that stallion. Not even enough to realize what he was truly like. If he had paid more attention, perhaps he would have turned out differently now.
Today Jigsaw was out looking for any horse of the female variety. He was one of those horses that liked to play with his food before he eats it, figuratively speaking. What constantly ran through his insignificant mind was 'I wonder who I'll find today', 'She's a beauty', and something along the lines of 'I wonder what I could do with her until I break her precious little spirit?'. It was safe to say that Jigsaw was the stereotypical Dark stallion.
It did not take long before his orange optics spotted a shape in the distance. A devious smile crept up on his face as he caught the distinct scent of a mare. Today was not going to be so boring after all. Within a few second, the ivory-masked stallion had trotted up to where he spotted the mare and halted a few strides away from her, his malicious smile remaining. "'Ello love." he called out to her. "Wha's a pret'y thing like you doin' out 'ere all by yurself?"

oh how lovely. another horse. a stallion, probably a dark stallion looking for a weak, pathetic mare. someone like her mother, spirit. ' it's vodka. ' she snapped. "love" sound so.. so.. stupid. ' and you are? ' she asked with a snort. she flicked her tail as she continued walking, she wasn't stopping for him. she wasn't stopping for anyone. ' what's it to you? ' she snapped. who gave a damn if she was here all alone. she was like her father, just not as physically strong or terrifying.
she continued her march deeper and deeper into the forest, not realizing the immediate danger. she didn't notice the evil smile on his face, nor did she realize just how close he was to her. she didn't even take in just quite how big he was. she was too caught up in her tantrum to realize anything else.
the deeper she made it the dark it got and the calmer she became. she had almost forgotten there was a stranger following her. the birds and small creatures didn't dwell here because it didn't support life, in fact it threated to destroy it. this place wasn't for the faint of heart. she breathed in the air and exhaled a big breath.
she quickly twirled around to face the stag and looked him in the eyes, bracing herself for an attack. it suddenly hit her what he was here for. stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid. she wanted to kick herself right now. hopefully she'd be alive to do so later. she was a fighter, but she would also be the underdog in this fight. she was game, but it didn't make her feel any less stupid. in fact she was dying for a fight, words, or physical. she needed to take her anger out on someone, or something. she smirked at him and rolled her eyes.

Jigsaw's orange optics gleamed with a mischievous look as the mare spoke. She was a dark. He could tell that right off the bat. Her nonchalant posture and her snappy reply only backed this up more. He usually left dark mares alone, not taking advantage of them, but he really like to mess with them. They weren't weak, pathetic little creatures who would cry at the wrong words. They were tough mares who put on a facade of strength and most of the time hatred. This mare seemed to fit that bill pretty well.
"Vodka, eh? Tha's an interestin' name." he commented as he moved closer to her. "Me? Well, I'm Jigsaw if y'mus' know." he introduced himself with a mock bow. The stag tilted his head at the next thing she snapped in his direction. "T'me? Well I think it's a very pret'y name." he purred as a smile crept up onto his ebony muzzle.
Jigsaw became a bit confused as the angered mare marched off. He never understood the mind of a mare, thats why he only would spend short amounts of time with them. Anything longer and he was pretty sure they would end up dead, even if that was the case most times. Nevertheless the stag shrugged and jogged after her through the forest.
Several minutes later she spun around and sized him up. His amused eyes followed her every movement and facial expression. Those expressions seemed to change every few seconds, a myriad of emotions going through her; fear, anger, smugness. He had seen it all before.
"What chya doin' so out 'ere all alone?" he asked her. "Even if y'are a dark, s'not a place where many pret'y mares like yurself tend t'hang out." he stated matter-of-factly from his previous experiences. Of course, this is what he said to almost every mare in some variation or another. The stallion flicked his ebony and green tail to fend off several flies as he eagerly awaited an answer from the fae.

vodka wished he would just leave. it wasn't that she was scared, oh no. she just came her to be alone, all by herself. she was lost in her own thoughts, it was pretty horrible when she couldn't even see the danger in being near jigsaw. just the noise of him breathing, talking was going to make her snap. "thinking.." she answered although it sounded more like a question to herself rather than the snappy remark she intended it to be. she flicked her tail as she tried not to get lost in her thoughts again. " and why the hell not? " she asked taking a bold step closer to him, stretching her neck higher up trying to make herself seem a bit bigger than she was.
she glared at him, why couldn't she be out because she was a mare, but he was a stag, so that made it alright? she wished these bastards would fucking die. they were so, self-centered, rude, obnoxious creatures. she would go absolutely insane spending all her time around creatures like him. " why are you out here? " she asked bluntly. " maybe s'not a place fer creatures like you ta' hang out " she said mocking him in his own accent. she smirked as she walked past him, almost close enough to brush the hair on his side.
shouldn't he know who she was, maybe not her, but her father? would he dare try something? her bark was certainly worse than her bite, but would he call her bluff? she hoped not. she only had so many tricks up her sleeve. but it wasn't like her to worry. she was now behind him, and quickly turned to face his rear. maybe he'd get tired of her 'games' and leave. she could only hope.

Jigsaw raised his brow at her snappy question. "S'jus' tha' pret'y lit'le things like you 'ave a 'erd, a mate, friends tha' they wanna be with instead of out in a dismal land like this one." he promptly answerd her. This was definitely going to be a fun mare. She seemed to be very bold, not afraid to speak her mind about anything. From what he could tell so far she also seemed to able to hold her own. Hefigured that she had grown up in this place, or some Dark land close to here. Vodka was well versed in the ways of the horses who roamed this land. Jigsaw had to give her credit for that. Some of the mares in his land were just like her, and quite frankly, he liked them. He even liked some of them enough to call them his friends. Vodka would fit in very well with the mares in his herd.
The ebony stallion narrowed his eyes at her next words. She certainly was a bold little thing, openly mocking him like that. If she had been a light he would have fallen right into the pattern of intimidating her with meaningless threats that he would only back up with some action that would been as 'scary' from a light or neutral mare's perspective. "Fiesty lit'le thing an't chya?" Jigsaw commented, looking down his nose at the mare as she walked past him. Without missing a beat he quickly followed her on her trek through the forest. "Well, I 'ate t'tell ya love but this is where 'orses like meself 'ang out. In fact, Im surprised we 'aven't met before, troddin' the same lands and what not. O' course y'know 'ow 'orses like me act, so this ain't nothin' new t'ya then? We could 'ave a righ' good time!" he said, adding a suggestive wink to emphasize his last sentence.

she sighed. she did have a herd, kind of. she was old enough to permanently leave, but should she? her father had to be the single most powerful equine on the face of the planet, anyone in their right mind wouldn't turn their back on him, now would they? " i suppose you could say i do have a herd, terra de felwood, certainly you've heard of it? " she paused, then laughed slightly, then a smirk fell upon her maw " as for friends, i have none, nor a mate.. " she smiled at the thought of her having a mate, or friends. " and you? you don't mean to tell me you have no herd, nor friends, not even a mate.. err should i say a bunch of mares to take anvantage of? " she knew his type all too well, they didn't stick to one mare, they wandered all over. she knew why he was here.
she continued her march and could hear his hoofbeats in rhythm with hers. fiesty? she'd never been called that before. " slightly. " she replied not breaking her pace or turning her head. she continued on in the silence, she stopped abruptly at his next sentence. if only he knew how well she knew his kind. " i don't come here as often as i would like.. " she started " and i think not.. " she smiled back at him with a flick of her tail, and started walking again. who knew she could actually enjoy herself with another equine, especially someone like him?
her walk slowed as she began to think. " i don't come here as often as i would like.. " why didn't she just leave home. it drove her crazy all the time anyhow. " i really only come her to think, clear my head, get away from ehh.. home. " she said with a bit of disgust. she didn't want to totally scare him away with a bunch of nonsense talk. it was really just thinking out loud, it was his fault for walking in on her thinking time.

Vodka quickly answered the large stallion by saying that her home was on Terra del Felwood. Of course he had heard of it. Only a completed naive idiot would not have heard of it. Felwood was one of the most infamous lands in all of Isola Dei Dei, save the elemental lands, those were on their own special levels. As far as the 'regular' horses went, Felwood had been dubbed the 'badest' land around. Quite frankly, Jigsaw did not care. He had heard some of the stories about the leader and what went on there. Sure they were interesting, but nothing that made him afraid of it or want to go and visit right away. As far as he was concerned it was just another Dark land.
No friends, no mate. What a sad life. Jigsaw had horses that he could call his friends but no mate. He could never imagine himself with just one mare for the rest of his lief. He liked how he was living now, from mare to mare. Sometimes he even claimed two or more mares in one day. That was the life. "Well, yer righ' 'bout the not 'avin' mate thing, but I do 'ave friends an' a 'erd. Terra di Bellezza Dark." he told her matter-of-factly.
Jigsaw cocked his head as she spoke. She told him that she did not come here as often as she would like to. Interesting. "Whatsa mat'er? They don't lets ya outta tha' land or somethin'?" he asked her after taking in her words. "Or are y'jus' busy?" Jigsaw was almost inclined to believe that her land was very strict and she was not allowed out. But what did he know? That was only the way it worked with his herd and their mares. Jigsaw really had no idea of how the other dark herds functioned. He just assumed they were all very similar.
The mare then said that she favoured coming out here to think and be alone. Quite honestly Jigsaw could understand that. There were times where he actually wanted time to himself that did not involve tracking down defenseless mares. "S'a nice place t'come. Not the safest, but it seems tha' you don't care about that, eh?" For one of the first times in his life Jigsaw realised that it was sometimes... nice to talk to a mare instead of forcing her and being on his way.

vodka nodded, of course she'd heard of his homeland but it didn't have anything on felwood. it didn't seem to even faze him, a typical dark who wasn't afraid of anything. she guessed he hadn't seen her father, hannibal yet. even she was a typical dark, and seeing him in his fiery form made her cringe. ' i suppose you like it that way too, huh? ' she knew the answer, of course he like having no mate. at least he had friends. it was just complicated at home.
she was kept on a tight leash. she could go occasionally but they would have rather she stayed home. they could keep and eye on her that way. ' hah! not usually, i sneak out. it's pretty difficult though, seeing my father is the lord, and my mother the lady. ' she didn't really like people to know who her father was. she was sure no one knew of her mother. he would probably see the resemblance in her and hannibal if he'd ever met the bastard. ' hannibal likes to keep everyone inside the borders of felwood, can't say i blame him. ' she paused a minute. ' they've been doing lots of planning.. she stopped there, not wanting to reveal any 'secrets' or anything.
she stopped her march and relaxed her stance, so much for her coming here to chew someone out. she turned to face jigsaw. it was darker out but she was sure it was still early evening, it must have been all the dense foliage blocking out all the light. ' much safer than at home... ' she mumbled. ' you haven't met my father have you? ' she said with a laugh. he wasn't that scary. only when he got really pissed off.
it was nice to have a pleasant conversation with someone instead of being engulfed in all the drama in felwood. she was torn between deciding to stay in felwood, or leave. her mother, spirit, would be hurt, probably a bit upset with her decision. and hannibal? well, she wasn't sure what he'd say or do. he was too unpredictable. she sighed. what to do? ' it is nice here. ' she said in agreement ' so nice i don't know that i want to go home. ' she smiled. that wasn't the reason at all..

"Yep." Jigsaw agreed without missing a beat. He was never one for staying with a mare for more than a few hours or less. There were the mares in his herd, but he ignored them mostly, save the ones he could call his friends. He had problems with mares, almost a fear of being abandoned that he would never admit to anyone. His mother had up and left him and his twin sister. They were old enough to be o ntheir own, but she left without a word. Obviously their father did not care, the old herd leader Quixtant pretty much forced Masquerade, Jigsaw's father, to be his mother's mate. A few weeks after his mother left, his own sister Champagne decided to leave in the same manner. To this day Jigsaw did not know if they were alive or dead. He was leaning more toward death.
Sneaking out? Jigsaw knew that is any mare, let alone one they had taken captive snuck out like that they would be in for a severe punishment. He assumed it worked the same exact way in the other herds. This mare was very brove for taking that chance. By now knowing this, it almost put a new level of respect on Vodka. This was one reason why Jigsaw enjoyed Dark mares. They didn't give a fuck about anyhting or anyone.
" 'Eiress, eh? Tha'sa tough position t'be in. I see whys ya sneak out now." Jigsaw was rather impressed that the heiress of such a land would take the chance to sneak out. Normally they were gaurded and watched like the little princesses they were. The stallion was now anticipating her father, or one of the other herd members, to com looking for her at any moment. Things like this did not go unnoticed for lenghty periods of time.
Hannibal. Jigsaw had heard many stories about Hannibal. The demon horse, the bastard, he had so many names that pretty much anything suited him. He was said to be the most feared horse in the land. Jigsaw had never met him personally, but he highly doubted it. Stories, especially told by horses all over the island, tended to stretch the truth.
"I understand tha'." Jigsaw said. "Aro likes t'keep everyone, well mostly the mares, in our land." Perhaps the Dark herds all worked the same to some degree. Planning. Planning about what? This now interested Jigsaw. The stag's ears perked and he raised his head a bit. "Plannin' eh? What kind o' plannin'?" he asked, knowing that she was probably not smart enough to give out information like that. If she did give him any information he would be obligated to doubt it since she could just be telling him to shut him up and deter his interests.
"Nah, I ain't neva met yer father." Jigsaw confirmed. "I 'ave 'eard many interestin' stories 'bout 'im though. Seems t'be one of the most feared 'orses around. I guess tha's somethin' fer 'im t'be proud of." Teh large stallion raised his head and lookeda round again when Vodka said that it was nice here. Jigsaw did not see much difference between ehre and any other dark land, but he assumed it was because of her father and herd. "Why don't chya jus' leave then?" he asked. If he was Vodka, he would be out of there as soon as he realised he didn't like living with that herd any longer.

vodka wished she'd been abandoned at birth. things might have been easier. instead she had an overprotective mother, and a crazed father. she had too many half-siblings to count. she had two full blooded siblings die shortly after birth. she couldn't but wonder what they'd done right. she wished it could have been her. she was almost happy they'd died and not have to suffer under hannibal and spirit. it wasn't that she had a bad life, she was just ready to move on and quit with all the drama.
she imagined jigsaw was allowed to leave as he pleased. most normal herd members were allowed, but felwood, well it was something else. something was being planned, war, a fight, something. she'd left before she heard what exactly what was going on. jigsaw looked as if he ranked quite high in the herd. he was big, powerful, and capable of doing almost anything. being a dark herd, he might have been a warrior, or something like that.
an heiress? oh no. hannibal was a player. he'd had twins before her. they fought over the throne. she wasn't even considered, firstly because there were two older than her. secondly because she was a mare. mares were looked upon as toys in dark herds, that was just that. but unlike many she hadn't accepted that fact. she could be something if someone would give her a chance.
' me? an heir? hah! ' she laughed. he should know better ' don't be ridiculous, i'm a mare ' she spat. ' i've got two older half-brothers. twins. one of them is to be heir. ' he didn't actually believe a mare could rule a dark herd? even if she was allowed, would she want to rule such a cursed land? ' even if i could i don't know i'd want to rule that land. ' she said. ' so, where do you rank in your herd? ' she asked curiously.
Aro. ahh, that rung a bell. she'd heard of him before. he still wasn't quite as bad as hannibal. she smiled at his comment especially the mares. yup, typical dark herd. she swore up and done she'd never be one of those mares. ' i don't know.. ' she shrugged. ' i left before i heard what was going on, it's probably better that way. too much drama. she sighed. she was dreading going back home. she knew they were getting used to her sneaking off, they simply waited for her return. they still worried, especially spirit.
leave? just up and leave? could she do that? her father was pissed at the world, and the people that hurt him, and the bastard that killed him. would her leaving push him over the edge? would he want to kill her too? she wasn't afraid of him, but what he could do. she was old enough, he couldn't keep her there forever. she could leave if she wanted. ' i don't know if i could do that.. ' she said still debating whether to stay or go. ' and where would i go? ' she asked? she didn't really expect an answer she was once again talking out loud.

When Vodka told him that she was far from an heiress just proved what he thought; all Dark herds were the same, for all practical purposes. In Jigsaw's land mares would be forbidden to do anyhting other than produce babies. The colts were then trained to be fighters, as well as stallions like Jigsaw who went around terrorizing mares and forcing them to join the herd. The fillies in Jigsaw's herd were pretty much left alone and brought u pto be arrogant brats who thought they wer ebetter than everyone else. They were there for one purpose, producing children once they reached maturity. The light and neutral mares who were imprisoned in the land were there as broods and would be broods until the day they died.
"Brothers, eh? Wha' are their names?" Jigsaw asked curiously when Vodka mentioned that she had two brothers who were fighting with each other for the throne. From all his travels there was some possibility that the masked stallion had run into one, or even both, of them. Then again he had only ever heard of her father and never run into him. It seemed as if Jigsaw, and his herd, did not have much contact with this mare's land.
Vodka then asked Jigsaw what his position in his herd was. "Me? Well I'm the lead warrior o' Bellezza." he answered proudly. He did not care if he wasn't the lead or even a beta. The ebony stallion truly prided himself in being the head of all the other horses during times of trouble.
Too much drama was the reason Vodka wanted to leave. Jigsaw understood. There had always been drama in Jigsaw's herd when Quixtant was the leader and Jigsaw's father, Masquerade, was the lead warrior. After those two bastards left everything was fine again. He understood what she eant. Those two had always been plotting and planning some scheme or another. Jigsaw ersonally tried to avoid it all, not liking his father and not liking Quixtant when he was with his father.
"I dunno." Jigsaw answered when the mare asked where she had to go. "There are lotsa other lands all 'round 'ere tha' y'could wander into. or y'could be a wanderer. Lotsa 'orses do that. 'ell y'could even join a ligh' or a neutral 'erd and cause 'avoc in their lands. tha's always somethin' fun t'do. There are lotsa options. Y'jus' gotta know where t'look." he offered.

being a mare she knew she never had a shot at being an heir, or any position of any importance in a dark herd. sure, the light and neutrals lands she'd have a shot, they believed mares and stallions to be equals. but did she even look like a light? nope. did she want to be one? not at all. she loved the way she was and she didn't want to change it. although she didn't tell anyone she would have liked some friends, real friends, and a mate. someone she loved more than anything. she just didn't see any of that happening in the future.
' orpheus and bolin ' she said. ' i'm not sure who's to be lead. they both come and go, and fight with each other. it's one big mess. ' she frowned with a snort. she flicked her tail as she tried to forget felwood. ' have you met either of them? ' she asked tilting her head slightly to the left. her family, half-blooded family was all over Isola. she didn't even know the half of them.
so, he did have a very important position, and he was proud of it. like any dark, they were proud. she smiled, she'd never met someone quite like him. he was pleasant to be around, unlike most other equines. ' you like that position? ' she paused. ' i mean, don't you wish you were lead, or even beta or something more? ' she stopped once again. trying to understand how someone as strong and powerful as him could settle for just a warrior. ' not that it's a bad position.. ' she said. ahh foot in mouth syndrome. sometimes she wished she just kept quite.
she began to pace going a few feet in one direction then turning and going another few feet and turning again. trying to think of what to do. they both knew very well that most mares were looked upon as broods. most any dark herds thought that way. and did she even look like a light? ' you know just as well as i that any dark herd i would join i would surely be turned into a brood.. ' she stopped long enought ot ake a breath. ' and.. and.. do i honestly look like i could fit in in a light herd for even a minute? '
she wasn't paying attention to her pacing and she stopped just a few inches from jigsaws shoulder. whoops. she quickly took a few steps back. he had lots of good ideas about where to go, but did she really want to leave home? ' hm, maybe i will just wander.. ' it sounded odd to say. just wander around, with out friends, a mate, or even a home. it sounded lonely.
she hadn't noticed but it was beginning to get pretty dark. it must have been about sundown. she hadn't planned on staying here all night. she looked over at jigsaw. ' it's dark already? ' she paused. ' i didn't think we'd been in here that long.. she smiled, though her mind was still racing.

"Nah." he answered with a negative shake of his large head. "Ain't never met either one of 'em, but I 'ave 'eard of 'em before. Jus' like yer father, I've only ever 'eard stories an' enver witnessed 'em in the flesh." he explained. Jigsaw almost found it funny how two herds could be so close in the same land and not have any, or very little, contact with each other. Perhaps he would run across them one day. With two of them running amok it shouldn't be hard to at least catch a glimpse of one. Then Jigsaw could finally see if they, and their father, were as 'scary' as many horses portrayed them to be. Jigsaw had feeling that they really weren't that bad. Other horses tended to stretch the truth in stories they told to make everything better in their opinion.
Vodka then began asking about how he liked his position as the head warrior in his land. "Eh, I can't complain. I actually never really think 'bout bein' anythin' other than wha' I am, y'know? Sure bein' a lead or somethin' o' the sort would be nice, bu' I kinda like this. I can jus' go as I please an' I'm not needed much. I like doin' m'own thing mos' the time. Yeah, bein' lead warrior ain't too bad." After a brief pause, Jigsaw opened his mouth to ask the mare a question. "An' wha's er position in yer 'erd?" Jigsaw figured that he should ask, for he was a curious stallion. He would honestly be surprised if she did have some kind of status in her herd, other than being the lead's daughter of course.
What she said about joining other dark herds was true. They still used the old ways of running a herd, not wanting to become revolutionaries like the other alliances had been. The stallion could not help but to smirk when Vodka explained she would never fit in with any light herd. "Eh, I guess tha's true. They'd probably wanna drive you far from their land the moment they set eyes on ya." he said with a chuckle. Some horses were just not meant to set foot in a Light land. Vodka just happened to be one of those horses.
"Wanderin' is always a good choice!" he exclaimed. "Even though I 'ave a 'erd, I still take t'wanderin' all 'round the place. Y'see an' experience so many different things tha' 'alf the time you'll be wonderin' why y'ddn't start wanderin' sooner." he told her when she said that maybe she should stick to wandering. Over his few years on Earth, Jigsaw had wandered over a great deal of this island. Most of it was very beautiful with things that he never knew existed. Then there were the mares he met along the way. He left that part out since Vodka obviously did not care about finding poor, defenseless mares all alone out in some vacant forest.
The stallion's orange optics drifted skyward when Vodka mentioned that darkness was falling. "Huh. I didn't notice tha' either." As he scanned the skyline he realised most of the darkness could be contributed to the clouds looming in the distance. A storm was on it's way. The stallion frowned and mentioned his observation to the mare. "I think its gonna rain soon. Jus' look at those clouds over there."
As Jigsaw looked back to the mare he realised that this was one of the first times in his life that he didn't try to force or claim a mare he had met out in the forest like this. Perhaps it was because he could tell she was strong-willed and wouldn't allow either of those things. Even though Jigsaw would not admit it, he had enjoyed talking to this mare. It was like talking to one of his friends. never had he called a mare a friend before, more of an acquaintance.

she hadn't thought of it that way, but yes, he could now leave whenever he chose. whereas if he were lead he wouldn't have the freedom he had. as for her position? nothing, what did he expect? ' i don't have one.. ' she said. oh my that sounded pathetic. she deserved so much more than she was getting. at least she too could leave whenever she wanted. it was nice to get away from it all.
vodka laughed when he commented on the lights chasing her away. she nodded in agreement. neither of them would fit in very well. she wasn't scared of a light, never. but there was indeed safety in numbers. she'd rather be on neutral grounds than known and hated by all. certainly the lights could do some damage with such great numbers.
she hadn't ever considered wandering. she always thought it to be a lonely life. she didn't want a lonely life. it suddenly occurred to her that she had a home and was still lonely. even though she'd only met jigsaw a little while ago she'd felt she'd know him her whole life. it was something she never felt before. it felt strange to her, but she liked it. ' i suppose your right, wandering doesn't sound too bad.. '
she looked the same direction the stag did, he was right. a storm was brewing alright. ' i think your right, it looks bad. ' she said with a frown. ' maybe you should start home, i'm sure it's not going to be fun to be stuck in this storm.. ' she was torn. she wanted him to stay, she felt like she was starting to really like him. almost more than just a friend. it was so odd how they just.. clicked. on the other hand she was afraid of those feelings. she would want him to leave and quickly forget him. she had a feeling she wasn't going to be able to easily do that.
the dark clouds were dark, swirling clouds that hung low in the sky. the wind whipped through the thick forest sending a chill down her spine. she'd pull through alright, it just wouldn't be much fun. maybe the dense foliage would help to shelter her from the cold spring rain.
