The tri rose color mare stood at would have seemed to be the edge of the world to her, though she was a sea level and there was drop before her. Her mind wandered again, questioning everything she's even known and now knows. But one thing that didn't come into question at first she Hollow or her love for him. She was surprised though , though she knew she always woke earlier than most horses, she stood alone still, almost noon. But her questions blurred in her head for a moment as she began to space, staring at the snow. Then they separated as she seemed to be in her own little world, the quiet rushing of the river near her. Her questioning began to turn and turn and soon came to a question that shocked her. 'Am I good enough for him.'. Then it began echoing inside of her. She shook her head trying to rid of it, but all she really did was bring herself back to earth. She sighed as she tried to space again, empty minded.

Scared of my Shadow leisurely relaxed against a small collection of trees, mind churning as his tongue seemed to taste the bitterness of complete vacancy. Blue oculars swam across the landscape, absorbing the ivory snow in stride as an exhale seemed to permanently ground itself upon his lighten lips. Raising his eyes with striding collection to the lighten heavens, mind wandered with complete rapture to the mare that seemed to always tempt his fevered mind. Ice Rose. Where was she at the moment? Once more the orbs rose with the falling snow to collect the breath of sanity as if he had merely wished her into existence. The day was still young, was it not? Why did he not go out and search for her instead of living in his own silence.
The massive cremello raised his frame with tense recollection as strides where made into the heart of the lands, eyes searching as mind grazed over the possibility of her leaving of this place. Quickly, he drowned the thought, becoming irritated at himself for even thinking of such ludicrous words. Snorting, he drew up to a halt, head raised as he watched his shadow shimmer before him. Slowly, he let out a call, the tones echoing off his surroundings only to be recaptured by his pricked ears.
Shaking his delicate head, the walk was once more started upon as muscles tensed with each step, mind whirling from the fabricated calm he basked into, snapping his mind with memories of earlier days, before this place had become his homeland. Sapphire looks basked into the ever vast heavens with each stride, causing Hollow to drift slightly as he continued to search for his bewitching mate. Daringly, once more his thoughts drifted into unwanted pools, causing his motions to take on a high-strung prance, tail high as he chewed he teeth together. But, this vanished instantly as he saw the mare in the distance. Nickering to her, Scared of My Shadow stood silently, waiting for a moment as his eyes grazed across her silhouette.

She had completed her zone of empty thoughts when she heard the nicker familiar to her. She jumped though, the icy shield spiking up out of instinct, as she snapped back into reality. She snorted for a moment to calm her self as she turned her head, looking back at the stallion. Hollow. She calm completely, letting the shield fall again, her eyes soften. She returned the call with her own quiet one. Even with him, she was still quiet. She turn the rest for her body and trotted to him, her early thought hiding herself. As she walked up to him, her head and tail held higher than she usually would in front of another. She smiled at him, stopping a few steps from him, teasingly as she quietly spoke"I was wondering when you were going to come looking for me." Even though she remained quiet, she was more open to him now, her other side she hides from others, easily open to him.

The cremello painted stallion bestowed the full extent of his attentions upon the gracious form of the mare as she returned his greeting, trotting out to meet his still form in the calm of winter's embrace. Noting the delicate arch of her tail, as well as the pride in her step, the stag was almost in rapture as she then chose to speak. A smirk collecting itself across his features, one of self-assurance as he reached forth to nuzzle her neck happily in response. Of course he would come looking for her. A smile rose to his face as he took a step closer, basking in her warmth as the icy wind no longer caught his pelting, the light just adding color to this moment as the thoughts were pushed from his mind.
'Of course,' He breathed softly against her pelting as he then sighted with contentment, forgetting the worry he had harbored mere seconds before catching sight of her. Taking a measured step back so that he could adequately see into her gray orbs, reassurance seemed to collect itself across his form as he stood before her, heart thumping warmth simply by the presence.
Though the stallion Scared of My Shadow could ask so many questions at that moment, he kept them to himself, simply gazing at her with his sparkling blue oculars without offering any speech. Ice Rose was a marvel to him, something he was convinced he would never figure out, even if he had all the time in the world to do so. Measuring the silence slightly, he rose his head to the heavens, delicate head observing the general splendor of the cloudless skies as he waited to see if the fea before him had any manners she wished to discuss, for he had all the time in the world collected in wait for her.

(Is your Hollow muse low.....O.o*Shoves Rose muse at Hollow, forcing him to take*)
Rose sighed at the stallion. She still fascinated with all the breeds hiding in him that was easily seen. Never she thought she see a horse with a paint pattern, the color of light cream in the pattern, a darker creamy honey color of a palomino, built like a arabian, but in a massive frame and much taller. The mare was curious about were he came from though. She knew he wasn't from the island, the way he was said everything that he wasn't exactly from the isle. She sighed, not sure if she ask where he came from, not wanting to bring up old memories of the stallion he want to long for get. She reminded wordless for moments, thinking for something to ask of him, other than her thought earlier. She kept thinking as then she though of something completely stupid, but at least something, to say. "So what do you thing on this place?" She spoke her quiet voice said, moving closer to him.

The patchwork stag snorted quietly, watching the trendils of elongated exhale intertwine themselves in the breeze that cradled the pair as his mind processed her question, taking into consideration all the moments he had possession of in this place. The muscles tensed under his silken pelt as she moved closer, and instant reaction as his mind calmed himself enough to once more relax in her presence. Smoothly, the dished head turned to her once more from his observation of surroundings, a small offering of emotion upon his maw as he then spoke, 'It feels normal...peaceful...'
Scared of My Shadow thought this through carefully, wondering to himself why this place did not feel like his home, which was what he wished he could say tot he mare. Snorting quietly once more, he gave another timid smile as she continued to gaze at his features. Instantly, this drew his attention, wondering what it was that she wished to really ask, since the previous question almost now seemed as distraction. The long trendils of his light creme mane billowed about his wildly in the breeze, but this did not bother the stag, for his eyes were fixed intently upon hers, as if in asking for the question to be spoken. Was she...uncomfortable around him?
Ears swiveled forth to prick themselves once more as his eyes outlined the dished complexion of her face, tracing them with blue orbs as he waited with the illusion of patience. The stallion had no wish to resort back to the flighty ways he had so previously harbored, so he did not ask the question, merely listened, keeping his tongue in check as the illusion of himself paced behind the bars of his mind.

(O.o Getting out of Rose character. She's going to do something stupid here.... Or something I'd think is stupid.....)
Rose could feel his eyes on her's, seeing them, she could read his eyes like a book. The surely read, ask the real question. She lowered her long lashes to hide her eyes, knowing if she stared long enough, her own eyes would give away the question away. She hated to see him shell shocked like he was the first time, and didn't want to bring his past up to him. The mare remasked the cracked ice eyes, as looked back at him teasingly, playfully. A small smile developed on her lips as moved closer to him yet. She knew he was going to not be sure of her intentions until she played it out. She nipped at him playfully, saying like a little foal "Your it" just then she jetted off through the snow, her legs moving quickly.
(See.... She's being weird and CHESSY! XD)

Scared of My Shadow froze for the moment to pass, mind churning as it took in the confusion that clouded his subconscious at this string of actions briefly witnessed. The place were the nip had occurred seemed to burn slightly with the heightening of observation as the cremello blinked lightly, trying to make sense. Then, the realization hit him like a concrete wall, she was..playing? Raising his dished expression slightly, he observed her gallop away through the snow, the swells she kicked up trailing behind her. The stallion half-reared, thrashing his small head from side to side before he lunged forth, as if a bird released from its tightly locked cage, a low squeal leaving his lungs as strides extended themselves, the long stilts from his breeding racking up earth in elongated rows. His head tossed higher, freeing his mane as the ivory lapped at his silken stomach.
The arch of his tail was as if a banner as the self-created wind rejoiced, singing in his ears as the gallop continued with strain. Nostrils flared to give justice to lungs as he was soon catching up to the smaller mare. Shaking out his mane once more, he gave a playful leap as if a young colt, another small squeal erupting as the small was kicked higher into heavens. Never before had he felt this freedom, unrestrained as he struggled to unchain himself from worries to finally let go of bindings. The cremello stallion's childishness made his mind reel backward, allowing the twisted spark to recapture his orbs as his legs moved faster.
Sweat beaded on the surface as the Arabian blood hotly surged through his veins, mixing with the powerful Hanoverian strides as the gallop erupted into seemingly flying paces, his leaping strides barely touching the ground as his neigh rang through the air, a trumpet as he flew past the mare Ice Rose, nostrils flaring even more so as the gallop continues, a shower of rainbow ice in his wake. The freedom he felt was without equal, and for once he was completely unrestricted.

Running with ease, the mare pulling her self forward at a faster speed, her ears pointed to the wind she was creating that whistled loudly to her. She felt her legs hit the ground harder than before as she slowly felt her catch up. In mid stride, she let her hind legs fly up in the air, and whinnied loudly, uncharacteristic to her quiet ways. She felt herself run forward, not wanting to stop. Running gave her the happiness before she met Hollow. Maybe she keep the happiness for both of them. She ran forward playfully, her legs flying in every which direction, swaying and shaking her head wildly.

The patchwork stallion inhaled deeply the scent of winter's frozen grasp, ribs expanding as he then dug in deep with his front hooves, sliding to a stop as clouds of snow engulfed him. Shivering slightly, the pelting shifted across his twitching muscles, as Hollow stood in erect fashion, blowing heavily through widened nostrils, massive frame quivering in the cold breeze. There was a growing flame in his stomach, making his skin seem to splinter as muscles burned, also twitching with slight motion. In a sudden fit of motion, his delicate head snapped upward, flinging his mane skyward as if in complex emotion as mind churned feverishly.
The whites of his blue oculars appeared as he reared high, each muscle tensing under the rippling of churned coat, the sunlight glimmering off the coated surface, making the painted patches more visible. Pawing the air, the wind beat eagerly at his mane and tail as the episodes from his past replayed across his eyes, the stag could almost taste to metal between his teeth, the leather creaking, restricting his breath as a saddle. Slowly, he lowered himself, convincing the demons in his shadows were only illusions from the past. Yet, he squealed, kicking out at them, once more lunging into a swift gallop.
Scared of My Shadow fled the demons of his past, calling to Ice Rose with a declaring trumpet, listening to the frantic drum of his heart as he forgot the whips, bars, and bits completely. Tossing the dainty Arab head skyward, he reminded himself that it was all long gone, left behind as he galloped onward, his pedigree forgotten, as well as his purpose, lost in Isola Dei Dei.

Rose tossed the brown and red tipped mane wildly around her head shaking with it. She kicked, bucked, bounced, and jump like a mad horse. The mare seem to have gone loco herself. She ran forward, feeling her excitement to have fun for once without needed to be on guard of herself from another. She could see Hollow in front of her, hearing his own calls when something surfaced from the back of her mind. 'Am I good enough for him?' The thought echoed once more in her mind. She froze in placed, though there was no telling what about outside her. Even her eyes didn't show there was something that had happened in her head that shocked her so. Never had she been not able to block any of her unwanted thoughts. And this slipped up. The though kept it's echoing going as she still stood frozen in place. Even her sides didn't seem to move from breathing. The mare stood, shell shocked inside her mind as the thought kept going.

Scared of My Shadow's delicately arched neck was wrenched skyward as if hauled back by an invisible bit implanted in his strong teeth. Mouth foamed as sweat was lathered thickly upon his silken pelting, allowing the cold air to take away the steam in winter's frozen grasp. A short squeal erupted from his taunt maw as motions became strained as well as clipped, turning into nothing more than frantic leaps forth as dainty Arabian head reached skyward. Mind raced feverishly, knowing loosing control now was deadly, registering the hoofbeats of his mate long past ringing in his petaled ears. Soon, blowing heavily through strained wheezing gasps, Hollow pulled up into a stop, shaking cranium free of bindings.
Stilts shook with tremors for worn muscles as he muscular neck dropped heavily, light muzzle nearly brushing the snow as the cremello shook. Sweat dripped from his damp coat, making rivulets run in streams down his legs, melting the snow as soon his mind snapped. Head shot up and turned, blue oculars registering the frozen form of Ice Rose a ways away. Tiredly, he gave a nicker, the warm offering of audios seemingly absorbed by the silence and groan of wind around them. Though the patchwork stag seemed ready to collapse, knowing full well he had pushed his own limits, a quaking leg set form to carry him to her side.
It was a feeble attempt at best, the swaying of his massive frame shivered as the ice finally began to freeze interlacing patterns across his painted pelting, the thin not enough to protect his own body. He extended another neigh, this time louder in hopes of drawing her interest. Cursing himself, he painstakingly moved over, not making much progress in the endeavor, but not allowing himself to give simply up.

Ice Rose stood quietly still, fighting now to put the thought back as she watched her love come to her, weakened greatly in his running terror. The mare took awhile before the thought finally slid back to the recesses of her shocked mind. Only then did she snap back to reality enough to make her eyes move. It was a little longer to get the rest of her body to catch up. She stepped slow to him, now looking at him worriedly. Why had he driven himself so hard. She finally was close enough that if she stretched out her neck, she could touch him. He was covered in freezing sweat, her eyes picking up on the developing crystals. She kept on stepping forward, lower her neck to slid under his. Even though her arab head was out of his view, she watched him carefully, her ice eyes watching him.

The cremello patchwork stallion was instantly grateful as the soft warmth of the mare's flesh slid under his neck to help with supporting the cumbersome frame. Blowing gently, unsatisfied with the current state of this situation, the stag felt as if he should offer an apology to the fea, for he should not have been as so daft to let himself be bested by....himself. Hollow believed himself stronger than that, far beyond it in fact, to the point where it disgusted him that he had allowed that part of him to once more rear its head in mind. Stopping the motion of his grinding muscles, blue oculars seemed to cloud with growing apprehension, perhaps a sense of fear for the mate he loved. That was not the question, for his heart, however poor as well as shriveled it may be, was entirely in her possession. It was simply that he was not strong enough. He would not want to hurt her, to let her see the side of him that was bound in chains, fabricated illusions from the past. His mind was not cracked. He was strong. He had to be, for her sake.
Scared of My Shadow would not allow himself to cry in her wake, no matter how much he ever wished to do so. It was a mixture of pride as well as faith that he could solve this on his own. Love mended all right? Or was that time? How long had it been since he had washed upon these sandy shores? Years. Years had passed and very little about him had changed. He was still the same broken, twisted, sadistic brute inside that hid behind the mask of a handsome face. Bred for beauty, temperament, and reliability...and he was hardly two of those things! Generations of effort, only to be disappointed, and now he had the fear of passing that on to the odd pelted Ice Rose. Heart tugged, frame quivering slightly from exhaustion. Think, you idiot! This is your fault...
Obviously he was simply not trying hard enough. That was the only way he could justify it to himself. He had to try harder. Give more, take less. This was his life, no matter how hard he tried to cover his eyes and turn away. Lowering his head, he seemed to cradle himself against the genteel frail frame of Rose, breathing softly into her mixed hair with contemplation as well as pain. She was his. He loved her. He would not leave her. He would travel to the ends of the earth to be with her. He just had to try.

Rose felt she caused this. She could feel the slick coat covered in sweat beside her, but she was not worried about him, as in his own judgment, but as for her own, she was wrong. The mare maybe smart unlike some horses her age, but she wasn't the smartest. The old thought came quietly in mind as not her own judgment for an answer began. 'Am I good enough for him?' While her outter shelled stayed normal, like the icy shield she had, except invisible to the eyes, but her mind felt broken. 'I caused this.' The mare thought. She could feel the air become thick with night air, the reflective snow reflecting the color of the changing, medium blue sky. Her mind said no. The answer is no in her head. She loved him, but she didn't want to hurt him, like she felt she did just now. The mare stepped back. "Come on. It's getting dark." And she didn't need to say colder her him to understand they, or rather in her mind set right now, him to settle in a warmer spot. She wouldn't be surprised if he got sick in the morning, but that would be her fault. She stepped around to his side and started to walk to find the cover he would need.
