Keezheekoni bestowed her crimson gaze upon the fruitless lands of the wonderless paradise. Her orbs merely gazed the scar of landscape before her mind made the choice to head from the looming shadow that served as the volcano. With clipped motions, her pelt shimmered with heat as the young mare took the time to examine her surroundings. Nostrils flaring at the shimmering hint of sulfur, a thin trace of tensity raced the length of her spine, racking her delicate form. Mind wandering past the pressing skies and lands laid out before the fea, she was occupied in thoughts of question to this place. Arching her neck, petal ears pricked back in hope for a sound. Without notice, the gait at which she was traveling altered into a self-assured trot, trying to ease the conflicting senses that spun wildly of her internal sides.
K i l l j o y contented herself with the watching of the landscapes, trying to harness herself into a cloud of false ease. Nevertheless, she could not help but dance slightly across the barren wilderness that now served as her homeland, her mind searching for something she did not know where to find...

The stallion lifted his head from the stream that he was drinking out of when the wind brought a new scent to his nose. It was an unknown horse, in his land. Aiden snorted and picked up a trot in the direction that the scent was coming from.
As the stallion got closer he realised that thie horse, this mare, was a Zunden. There was no doubting it. Her coat just gave her away. Aiden was glad there were evn more Zunden coming to find their old land. He knew that his army would be great, and from the looks of it that was what was happening now.
Aiden whinnied to herd and halted sveral strides away. "Hello." he said with a curt nod. "I am Aiden, the fire lord, ruler for the Zunden and Terra Di Fuoco. Welcome." he rattled off. He always said that to any new Zunden that wandered onto his lands. "And who might you be?" he asked, curious to know this mare's calling.

Keezheekoni bestowed her crimson gaze upon the Zuden stallion known to her at the present as Aiden. Ears catching the swift audios his voices sounded off to greet her senses, thoughts churned through with a satisfactory answer for her to return. Without her immediate intention, petal ears swiveled forth as she finally released tones to provide the leader with an answer.
"My name is Keezheekoni, but I am know to this world as K i l l j o y." Her voice was smooth, entering the air as if a promise upon the wind, without fault in its rhythm.
Orbs swept cleanly and with no more than an air of passing interest over the rest of the Zuden under the stag's command. It did catch her for a moment, the sheer numbers they held, but the fair mare reined her emotions under check, and collected her expression into a impassive mask.
Raising herself to her full, but minimal height, muscles stretched taunt under sleek coat as the shimmering promise of heat reflected. Nostrils quivering, the mare did not waver in her gaze as she merely stood before the impressive form of true stranger...

Aiden listened intesntly as she introduced herself as Keezheekoni. It certainly was a mouthful to say. Killjoy was much easier. She had to have on of the most beautiful Zunden mares that had come to Fuoco. Her coat and markings were so unique and vibrant.
"I'm glad you finally found this land Killjoy." he said with sincerity. He did wonder where she had come from. Yes the island was big, but not that big. Maybe she did not know that the fire herd was on the rise once again. Then again it was the biggest news on the island and was certainly a hot topc when the other horses found out from those basted ravens.
"So tell me a bit about yourself." he said. Aiden always liked to find out the history of his emembers. It also gave him an insight to their psyche. This made it esaier for him to figure out how to deal with them. It also gave him a look at how well they were trained in their powers. How much a Zunden could control their powers was all that Aiden was after to make his army stronger.

Keezheekoni consciously lingered upon each fragmented audio that exited the stranger's tongue, stirring them into the growing mixture of intelligence she had thus gathered upon the leader Aiden. Calculating the response she would present to him in return, the edge of her mind took in the surroundings as a simple habit. Though the mare was quite relatively young in comparison to almost all of her numerous counterparts, her mind was sharper than most, the cunning outweighing even those of higher survivals. Finally, as the moments were drawing to a close on timing, K i l l j o y offered him a reply with a charming smile.
"My parents parted from me when I was weaned, allowing me to journey the islands in search of a calling. As my winters have drawn to the assumed count of three dark passings, I do believe I have found such a place..." Her smile did not disappear as her head bowed in respect to the leader, her shimmering crimson eyes almost showing the air of reluctance to depart from his. She only hoped he would not assume she was not well-rehearsed in her own powers. Years of taking care of oneself made that an easy task...

Aiden watched the crimson mare intently as she spoke. She was away from her parents after she was weaned. This little fact bothered Aiden some. Did they teach her how to use her powers over the element of fire at all? She would at least know the basics. Every Zunden knew the very basics, but it was more of value when they had Zunden parents who taught them how to harness their powers.
The mare then said that she had been wandering the island for quite some time now. Aiden hated to think baout how many other Zunden like Killjoy were still out there searching for this wonderful land. Aiden thought that maybe he should send some of his feathered friends across the land to spot any Zunden they could and bring them back. The Zunden pretty much hated every kind of animal but other Zunden. The only animals that they would tolerate were eagles and phoenixes. Aiden let the raptors reside in his land and offered them protection as long as they would work as informants and messengers for his herd. So far the deal had been working out beautifully.
"How versed are you in the art of fire bending?" he inquired, curious to know her experience with her powers. In fact, he wouldn't mind a small demonstration of what she could do. Then it would give him an idea if she would make a good addition to his strictly military unit within the herd. In fact, if she was good enouhg, he may appoint her new lead warrior seeing as the other lead warrior turned out to be a traitor.

Keezheekoni conceded to still posses the air of a smile as her ears wiped Aiden's audios from the very suggestion of wind. The question was presented to her in nearly the exact way she would have expected from this particular stag, a straightforward clue that all the things the mare had heard in her travels bore forth relevant truths. Her lips drew back with true tightening as his asking concluded, for a reply was something she would be happy to supply the leader with. Once more, her muzzle tipped downward in respect as she replied.
"Mark me as being bold enough to say that I am well versed. The offer has presented itself countless times over the course of years, mostly of my own accord." A quick series of sparks danced in countless flickers upon her pelt, brought on by K i l l j o y' s memories.
Nostrils flaring for a brief moment, wisps of ebony smoke dispatched into the surrounding air as the Zuden raised her crimson orbs to meet Aiden. Flames flickered enthusiastically across her irises, making the mare herself check the control of powers as to not appear without discipline. There was a growing need, however, for the fea to prove herself to this Zuden, this leader. With truth being told, her mind was devouring the thought of this particular meeting. Never before had she met a stallion with this particular choice of aura, and she had met quite a few...

The stag kept his dark maroon optics focused on the mare as she spoke. He liked her. He liked her boldness and her borderline arrogant personality. She was just what this herd needed. Aiden also favoured they way in which she spoke. She spoke with enough rythm that one would never lose their attention when listening to her. Not to mention she had a pleasant voice to listen to.
The display of sparks on her pelt only proved that she was telling the truth. Not all equines would unconsciously produce a flame to go along with their emotions like that. "I'm glad to hear that." Aiden commented when she had finished speaking. He was silent for a moment as he squinted his eyes a bit and looked at her as if he was inspecting a statue for any faults. "Mind giving me a larger demonstration of your skill?" he inquired, knowing she was not too modest to object.

Keezheekoni controlled her facial expression with ease as the Zuden Aiden replied, petal ears swiveling forth to catch each pronounced syllable he chose to utter. Interested to the point of near captivation, she leaned heartily upon the lead of patience as he seemed to examine her form. As he drew breath of last sentence into the surroundings, K i l l j o y could not force a suppression of the awaited smile that took hold of her fair features. For this was the exact thing she had wished to hear from his voice, an invitation to prove her worth. Her entire framework tensed with a unmatched keenness as she allowed herself a gracious step backward from the stallion.
Her crimson orbs seemed to swim with joy in the bottomless sea of Aiden's maroon orbs as her answer danced jovially off her tongue, "If it so pleases you, my lord." As the last two words uttered into the lifeless air, they seemed to erupt into a series of vibrant sparks, turning into entrancing flames upon air.
With the grace of a predator, Keezheekoni started her demonstration, the intricate patchworks of her pelting glowing eerily as sparks shimmered dangerous from her hooves, covering the ground with webs of flames with each daring step forth. Flames spiraled across face, tracing animated lines as they worked their way down the curving arch of her neck, down her strong legs. Delicate framework moved in time with the self-created pulse as the fire heated higher, cooling in some, changing marvelous colors as she moved forth with ease. The trendils of mane seemed to morph into brilliant marked flames, colors changing as they grew. Long strands of her banner-like tail followed suit as a spray of colorful sparks lit the heavens and the ground, moving as if truly alive in her example.
As Killjoy turned herself back to Aiden, she locked eyes with the leader as her mind clicked with decided finale. A large matching set of flaming wings seemed to simply appear from the air, stationed upon her withers, swirling all the flames around her into one concentrated point. As her nostrils flared, they seemed to all disappear in one brief spark, sent out into the air between mare and stag. With this to offer him as suite, the mare bowed low in respect before raising herself to meet his criticisms...

The fire lord stepped back to give the mare a sort of stage to work with. What could she do? He knew that she must be pretty good due to her previous brief display. Then again, that could have been a fluke. With her personality and everything that Aiden had witnessed so far, he highly doubted that.
When the mare finally spoke with a smug look on her face, Aiden knew now that she had been waiting for this moment to show off eve since she set hoof in Fuoco. As long as she was obedient, Aiden did not mind a cocksure attitude. If things ever did get out of line, he would see that things were taken a notch down straight away.
Aiden watched Killjoy intently as she put on her little display. He watched her with a gaze that would match that of a boot camp instructor who strove for excellence in his trainees. That was exactly how Aiden oversaw his herd, with a strict, military mind.
When Killjoy had finished her display, Aiden bobbed his crown a bit and said "Very impressive Killjoy." The stag took a few steps closer to her once she had calmed down a bit after her performance. "You have promising skill." he blandly stated. "Have you ever held any position of power before?" he asked her, wanting to get straight to the point. Aiden was never one for beating around the bush.

Keezheekoni reined the turmoil of undefined power surging under the unfathomably thin sheet of skin into a tight line as her mind internally bit the bullet to keep itself tightly controlled. For the truth be told, the young mare was slightly ashamed of the arrogant actions she had partook in, her mind no longer concealing them as something unavoidable. Dipped her elegant muzzle to her chest as a show of discipline, her features became clouded by the mask of indifference that she knew was best to live under in this world. Her petals immersed themselves to swim in the emotionless tones of Aiden, and the immediate feeling of inferiority drowned the rest of her pride in murk, leaving only the bitter taste of ash upon her tongue.
"In my years of wanderings, I will honestly offer you a clear sense to the simple fact that there was never any horses of substantial breed that I would have cared to take charge over..." The blatant facts seemed to hover for a moment, as it was not a flasehood. Killjoy could already clearing get a clear message of what a stallion capable of such a suite in power would do to liars in his presence. Nevertheless, the mare concentrated on the steadying of her breath, allowing the energy to flow through the breath of smoke she exhaled.
Blinking for inner clarity for a calming moment of mind, the heat seemed to recede from the inner-workings of her vibrant pelt, seeping down to conceal themselves once more in the internal flames intertwined with the fabrics of her being. Her neck raised as she became once more completely and acutely aware of the surroundings, control tightly pad locked away in her system...

Aiden remained still as the mare spoke and bowed her head a bit. What was all this? Where had that arrogant attitude she had come into Fuoco with gone? Aiden did not understand. Perhaps she thought that she was being disrespectful and realised that Aiden was not one to be pushed. Honestly, her attitude did not bother Aiden. She was not yet out of line in any way. If she ver was out of line, he would be sure to let her know it immeadiately. In fact, the fire lord admired her personality.
"I'm actually quite surprised." Aiden commented. "Surely someone like yourself would have had some type of control over a group, or even a couple equines." This little fact had truly shocked the stallion. He just hoped she would be alright with a position of responsibility. He was planning on making her his head warrior. She certainly had ther personality for it. Right now, with her slight change in attitude, he was beginning to rethink this decision. Maybe she had just put on that facade efore to prove something to herself, or to him. That was a posibility.
"How would you feel in a position of power?" he inquired. He hoped that some of her previous personality would show through again. Then he would be sure of her answer. She would definitly be able to keep other horses in line as well as help them with their control over their powers. She had quite the extraordinary talent when it came to fire bending.

She had kept herself slightly hidden, watching the interaction between this new mare and Aiden. It wasn't like Malice to spy, but she had nothing else to do since she had been keeping herself on the down low. Ears flicked upon her head, as this mare displayed her powers as a Zunden. A small smirk crossed her maw, and the ashen mare decided now was the time to enter the scene. Head was lifted slightly, as she trotted to the two, that sly smirk still upon her lips. "Is that it," the mare challenged, eyes narrowing at Killjoy. She had been able to much more than that when she was younger. "It's really sad to call yourself a Zunden if that is all you can do." Her tail slapped behind her body, and she lifted a fore hoof off the ground, pawing the air slightly in front of her. Small flames licked at her hooves, snaking their way up her legs, disappearing into smoke as she stomped her hoof upon the ground. Her own crimson eyes stared deviously at this mare, as if she were trying to bore a hole into her body.
Malice, finally, turned her attention to Aiden, and flared her nostrils. She hadn't forgotten their last meeting, and there was a sour note between the two of them that she wanted to get out of the way. "And hello, m'dear Aiden," the mare seemed to coo, although there was an icy edge to it that caused her eyes to flash angrily. It suddenly disappeared, and the mare turned her head back to Killjoy, nostrils flaring ever so slightly at her. This surely was going to be interesting, at least, for the ashen colored mare.

Keezheekoni bestowed the limited extent of her crimson gaze upon the new arrival, a self-assured smile captivating the very limits of her features. Ears swiveled forth with an almost arcane interest as the audios released by the fea depicted more than the mare herself had even observed before. Documenting these very ill disguised emotional tendencies of the stranger, an almost light purr escaped the vocals of the mare, the twisted stance of her lips underlining a dark humor as her observations continued, scrutinizing gaze unfathomably breeching the flaming ocular linings of her opposite. Without gaze wavering in the slightest form, Killjoy lengthened the extent of her smile before completely brushing off the mare for a mere moment, her crimson eyes seeking the form of Aiden, whom had an unanswered question partaining to the fea still lingering in the still icy grasp of air.
Her tone was undeniably clear, never faltering as the gentle sounds releashed for the stallion to hear, "Quite comfortable, as you may mark my daring to say." With this as her chosen response, a self-assured feature seemed to bond itself upon her pelt as the young mare turned to the intruder upon this conversation.
A smile was offered as if in arrant sympathy, though it was cleared undermining a curious sense of observational teachings. "Dignity is often of high consideration when one is performing as example to a superior and should be always retained," Her tone seemed to take upon the phrasing that one might use when talking to a mere foal, one who did not understand the ways of mature speakings, almost as if a scold, though the words themselves were offered with a light smile. As she exhaled, sparks danced across her eyes to lit her pelt as plumes of smoke disapated. As the smirk she wore upon the fine features of her face tightened, a vivid mark of flame shimmered across the expanse as if in companionship, or a mock there of...

Before Killjoy could utter a single word, there was a slight rustle in the trees. Aiden whipped his head to the side. He was half expecting to see a new horse that had come into the land, but he had his hopes set too high. It was just Malice. Aiden offered his friend a small smile as she strode toward him. Aiden then saw an expression on Malice's face he had never quite seen before.
The mare then made a challenging remark toward Killjoy. Aiden raised his brow at this. Interesting. Normally Malice was kind, well kind as a Zunden could be, to new herd memebers. He had never seen her act like this before. If Aiden didn't know any better, he would say that it was jealousy. Of what though? Malice's powers far supassed the crimson mare's skill. There was nothing to be jealous of in Aiden's eyes. Unless, perhaps, she had heard Aiden asking her about being in a position of power.
Only when Malice's melodic voice pierced the cool air was Aiden's thought confirmed. Jealousy. Aiden wanted to shake his head at the whole thing, but refrained from doing so. Mares. They could be so strange at times. One minute they were happy and the next they turned into some jealous monster. Aiden couldn't fathom it.
"Hello Malice." Aiden said coldly with a slight bob of his crown. His crimson orbs shot her a look as she came closer. What was this all about? Aiden wanted to go over and ask her, but that would not look good in front of this new memeber. "Malice, I would like you to meet Keezheekoni. Killjoy for short. She has finally found Fuoco after a long time of wandering." Aiden told Malice, pretending to be a bit oblivious to Malice's sudden change in attitude.
