» Lynx trotted ahead into Terra Scure, ears flicking as her green irisies scanned the dark landscape curiously. Of course, she had insisted she went with Masquerade, even though he wasn't happy about it at all. She had nothing to do, and was still pissed off at Lassan for treating Masquerade so badly. The masked stallion didn't seem to care, but Lynx surely did mind. But down to the point, Masquerade was stuck with her until she grew bored. The chestnut turned her tiara to glance back to see if the brute had decided to turn and ditch her while he had the chance, and slammed right into something. "Oi! 'atch where u're goin'!
" Lynx blinked, huffing, and turned to see a roan mare glaring angrily at her. " Didn't see you, sorry," she replied, flicking her ears. " Well, 'ou 'ave eyes, don' ya? Use them nex' time!" snapped Lovett, rolling her gray eyes at the little arab and giving an irritated whip of her banner. Lynx snorted, flattening her ears and turning away. " Fine, whatever." [/blockquote] |Lynx & Lovett|

The stallion glanced back, only to see the chestnut mare still following him, but this time she was keeping her distance from him. Well at least that was soemthing good. All Masquerade had to do now is nothing. Literally. If he did nothing at all Lynx would get bored and leave him. Masquerade was no tthe type to have a companion with him, no matter what gender or species of animal, he did not want them.
Masquerade the realised that there was not only Lynx's voice behind him, but that of another mare. The stag turned around to see Lynx, who had appearantly bumped into some mare, making her a bit mad. Masquerade rolled his orbs. Would he have to get Lynx out of this situation as well. This was exactly the reason he did not want her with him. From now on she would have to get out of her own damn problems, even if it ended up with her getting killed.
As Masquerade got closer, he realised that Lynx was handling it pretty well on her own. This brought a smile of relief to his face, now he could just walk away. Maybe the two mares could be friends. The one Lynx had run into seemed like the talkative type. They would get along just fine.
Just before Masquerade turned around, he noticed another horse joining them. It was a taller, ebony Friesian like stallion. Was he there to cause trouble? Because two mares out alone in these lands was not a good thing. As much as Masquerade was irked by Lynx, and he did not even know the other mare, he still wanted to make sure they were alright. So he stayed, watching from a distance.
We all deserve to dieS W E E N E Y The Friesian had been pacing back and forth while Lovett had been grazing and happily talking to a pair of ravens, who seemed equally as happy to be talking to her. This just caused Sweeney to roll his optics and move a bit further away from their voices. Annoying as hell they all were. As much as the stallion was annoyed by Lovett, he still stayed with her. Sad thing was, he did not even know why he remained.
He was relieved when Lovett wandered off to do, well he did not know what exactly, but she had left. He knew she would come back whenever she was done doing, well whatever she was doing. He would bet his life on it. Where ever he seemed to be, she was there somewhere near him. Sometimes he would yell at her and tell her to get away, and she would, but she would always come back a couple hours later, happy as ever.
Sweeney stopped his pacing when he heard another feminine voice. Who the hell? His auds perked for a moment. Could it be Lucy? No, the voice did not match, it wasn't as pleasant. Sweeney frowned and stalked off in the direction where the voice came from.
The beony stallion stopped to see Lovett and some chestnut Arab mare. From Lovett's expression Sweeney was guessing that the chestnut had run into her or soemthing of the sort. His dark optics looked past the chestnut to see another stallion. The stag was a deep ebony with long banners and feathers. He also had a half masked face. Sweeney's mouth went to a sneer as he continued to evaluate Masquerade.
After figuring that the other stallion was just passing through, Sweeney walked over to the pair of mares. He halted when he was next to Lovett and looked down his nose at the chestnut. He really did feel like killing her, and the stallion in the distance. Instead Sweeney flashed the chestnut a dark smile. "Who are you?"
he asked, his vocals raising with each word spoken. [/blockquote] even you Mrs. Lovett, even I OPEN TO Lynx CHARACTERS Sweeney and Masquerade MUSE Errrrr, bacon! SONGS Epiphany + The Point Of No Return

» Lovett raised an eyebrow at the appearance of a black stallion not too far behind the mare, who was watching both of them carefully. She narrowed her eyes slightly at him, but turned her attention to Sweeny as he arrived. She gave him a sweet smile, but he just went on and asked the mare what was her name. Lovett cocked her head, but turned to give the other mare a curious look.
» Lynx blinked, glancing at Masquerade, as she turned to face the other mare again, and this time there was a large stallion with her. A shiver shook her bodice at the sight of him. He was huge compared to her, and had cold eyes, that seemed to give her a bloodthirsty look. She pushed her knawing fear away, pricking her ears as if she was interested in the new conversation. "Lynx,
" she replied simply, " What of it?" The arab studied the stallion once again, and before she lost her nerve, she turned to look behind her at Masquerade. " Are you just going to stand there the whole time? Or are you going to join us?" [/blockquote] ooc: nowaiiii! muse: ehhh song: anthem of the angels - breaking benjamin / epiphany |Lynx & Lovett|

For once in Masquerade's life he felt some strange feeling, almost like fear as he watched the other stallion keep his stoney gaze at her. At first Masquerade thought that he was going to force her, both of them. Or somehitng of the sort. But the brute had passed by the other mare, not even giving her a second glance. Although Masquerade did pick up even from his distance that the mare was taken with the black stallion. Masquerade couldn't understand that. To him, this stallion seemed even worse than he was, or had been. There was just a feeling he had in the pit of his stomach.
Masquerade quickly lost interest and put his maw to the ground, picking up a fwe blades of grass. His crown only came up when he heard Lynx call out to him. Masquerade narrowed his orbs and yelled back in reply "I'm jus' 'ere t'make sure y'don't get your bloody arse killed his all."
There was obviously a degree of annoyance in his voice. He really didn'y like Lynx leaving Lassan. She would just be safer there. Why the hell would she follow him anyway? Sure, he was returning more to his neutral state, but that didn't mean that she'd be safe. Well yes, she'd be safe from him, he had no intentions of harming her, but other horses, like the brute near now, may hurt her. [/blockquote] We all deserve to dieS W E E N E Y The ebony stag continued to keep his gaze on the chestnut. He only looked away when he saw Lovett smile at him out of the corner of his eye. This just cause him to sneer again. Why the hell was that bloody amre so infatuated with him? First of all, and he knew it, he was not pleasant to be around. Plus, he killed horses almost as a sport. For some strange reason, that did not bother Lovett, and that made Sweeney angry.
A though then struck him, what if he killed a mare in front of her? So far he had only killed stallions, leaving the mares alone since he had reall ynothing against them... yet. But if he killed Lynx, as he now knew her by, would that cause Lovett to leave him alone? Possibly.
Sweeney smirked and stepped closer to Lynx until they were nose to nose. Way too close for comfort. He kept his unblinking orbs staring into her own and his breathing very calm for the tense situation. "Give me one reason why I shouldn't kill you." he said in a soft, but threatening voice.

» Lynx gave her eyes a annoyed roll. She could take care of herself, even though at times it seemed as if she couldn't. The world was just stronger then her. Touché. "Fine, be an ass,
" she snorted, tossing her mane, and turned her head back to the pair to find the black brute right in her face. Green irises stretched out wide. Kill her? And what fucking for? Her maw gaped, lost of words for a response. » Lovett gave Sweeny a odd look. Strange he'd get the idea to start killing mares. She shifted her gaze to the terrified face of Lynx, a frown tugging at her lips. " Y'know, Sweeny love, I could use a lil' friend 'roun' here. I'd like a good some'ne to talk to," she said, cocking her head and then slowly turning back to Sweeny, eyebrows raising to see if he would except her offer. The masked stag lifted his head and noticed that the other brute was very close to Lynx, looking like he wanted to murder her right then and there. Masquerade could not make out what she was saying, but she obviously looked like she was trying to talk him out of something or other. Why did Lynx have to get herself into this?
Masquerade rolled his orbs and walked closer to the trio, concerned for Lynx's safety. After he got her out of this he figured he should probably return to Liberta with Lynx in one piece and make sure she stayed there. Yes, that was exactly what Masquerade was going to do.
" 'scuse me, but we'll leave if it's botherin' you lot."
Masquerade said to Sweeney and Lovett, mostly to Lovett though since she seemed to be more... sane. The masked hellion glanced to the other stag, hoping to get some kind of reaction from him, even though it looked like he would be getting none. [/blockquote] We all deserve to dieS W E E N E Y Sweeney continued to stare Lynx down, liking the fear that he was putting in the mare. He could clearly see an expression of shock on her face. This just cause him to smile more. Once he got rid of her, maybe he could get rid of Lovett for once. Something then made him not want to kill Lynx. He really had nothing at all against mares. Perhaps something was trying to tell him that even though he didn't want Lovett, that didn't mean that he didn't need her.
The stag's audits flicked as he heard Lovett's voice break the tense air around the trio. Sweeney remained silent and finally turned to face her, taking the same position he had with Lynx just moments earlier. "Fine."
he hissed out. He backed away from the mare, bumping rather roughly into her as he passed. Sweeney halted several strides away, this time his orbs on Masquerade. Now who the hell was this? Where were all these horses coming from? They just did not seem to belong to these parts, nor did they fit in correctly either. The masked stallion then began to speak. Sweeney just huffed in reply and waited for Lovett to answer. » Lovett's ears flicked as Sweeny came up in her face with a snarl, spitting slightly on her. She shook it off with a shake of her head, then smiled brightly at Sweeny. "Thanks, love,
" said the roan mare, giving a slight nod, before looking to the masked stallion that had approuched the trio to hear what he had to say to them. She was surprised, however, when Lynx spoke. " Speak for yourself," she said, one ear flattened to her tiara. " You wanted to come to Scure, and here we are. Now you want to leave? And go where? Liberta? Rocas?" Lynx narrowed her eyes at him, lashing her banner. " I want to stay here with..." she trailed off, looking to the roan mare who was watching them curiously. " Lovett," she told her, smiling. The arabian nodded, glancing back at Masquerade again. Lovett smirked softly to herself. Horomone rages were always the funniest thing to watch. " Well, I think thats set'led, then. C'mon then, Lynx, lets go find some o' those darling 'avens to 'ave a chat with, yes?" She blinked, dipping her tiara to the two stallions, before trotting off, Lynx close at her heels, giving Sweeny a weary glance. Masquerade's optics widened at Lynx's new tone. Didn't she want to go back to somewhere safe? He had taken her there and then she had to bloody follow him back into danger. The stag's orbs squinted into a glare as the Arab kept going on about him wanting to come here. Of course I wanted to come here you dumb arse. You were the one stupid enough to chase after me. Why should I care what you do?
"Fine. Whatever." he said, taking the same tone with Lynx as Sweeney had with Lovett a moment earlier. Well if Lynx wanted to go off with her new friend then so be it. Masquerade surely trusted Lynx's new friend since she seemed to handle her mate well, or whatever he was to her. All Masquerade knew was that he seemed a wee bit mad, or distrubed, or both. After a very awkward moment of staring at Sweeney, Masquerade began to glance around, feeling a bit uncomfortable being laone with the other satg. The masked stallion cleared his throat and moved a bit closer to Sweeney, who seemed to be staring off into the distance in his own little world. "I'm Masquerade." he began hoping to strike some familiarity with this strange stallion. [/blockquote] We all deserve to dieS W E E N E Y Sweeney watched Lovett and Lynx wander off together to go talk to those obnoxious birds. Those stupid things never shut up, a perfect match for Lovett. Sweeney shook his head and stared at Masquerade. Great. He was stuck here. This stallion better hope that he did not become Sweeney's next victim, because it was bound to happen soon.
The ebony stag startled a bit as the masked hellion came forth and introduced himself as Masquerade. Sweeney gave him a blank stare before saying "Sweeney."
With that the ebony stag stalked off, going to find somewhere else to be, away from Masquerade, but still close enough that Lovett could find him. In fact, in a bit, he would go wander after Lovett and Lynx. For some reason if he was near Lovett it would make him less likely to kill Masquerade. She, for some reason, was the only one able to talk him out of killing horses. » Lovett led Lynx around for quite a while, weaving through the trunks of the trees and thick underbrush. The chestnut arab was having a hard time keeping up, with the thorns tugging at her pelt and also trying to take in all the sights. She hadn't gone exploring on the island very much, and clearly she had missed a lot. Good thing she didn't ever come into here before, because obviously there was some strange characters hanging around here. The two mares scanned the trees for signs of the ravens. They saw finches, cardinals, robins, and crows, but no ravens. Lovett sighed, tsking in the back of her throat. "Damn. Oh well, we cou' always 'alk to them 'nother time, eh? Now let's see, what to do...
" The roan cocked her head, gazing up at the thick canopy in thought. Lynx shook her mane, looking around her. " Hmm.. perhaps go for a swim? Its getting awfully warm..?" she suggested, ears flicking. Indeed the humidity was rising on this unusually hot spring day, and Lynx was quite parched. " Splendid idea, love! C'mon then, times'a wastin'! " Lovett nodded eagerly and cantered off deeper into the forest, until the pair reached a small pond. Lovett grinned before plunging in with a huge splash, spraying water everywhere. Lynx laughed softly, watching her for a minute, before galloping straight in with a flurry of wild bucks and a whinny. Masquerade watched Sweeney walk away with a confused expression on his face. It wasn't that he wanted the stallion, who he now knew to be Sweeney, the stay and chat with him, but it was just very odd that he would walk away so quickly. Yes, Masquerade had to admit it, his more neutral side was coming back, but he would always remain leaning more toward the darker side.
The masked stallion huffed and turned around. Why didn't he just leave now? Lynx was off doing something or other with her new friend, so she'd be pretty happy. Truth was Masquerade was happy to be around other horses again, even though he kept trying to deny that fact to himself.
Masquerade decided that he would just stick around and graze. If Lynx came back, fine, if not, well that was fine too. If she did not return, he would probably wander the dark lands and eventually make his way back to Rocas, with or without Lynx.
We all deserve to dieS W E E N E Y The ebony stag muttered to himself as he finally stopped his pacing and went to find Lovett and the other mare. He qiuckly made his way to where the ravens usually were. To his surprise there were not any ravens. Strange. Those birds usually favoured this spot, but obviously not today. Only things that were there were much happier birds, like finches and robins.
Sweeney flattened his audits and scanned the scenery with his dark optics. He didn't see Lovett, or the other mare in sight anywhere. Of course, the one time he actually wanted to be around Lovett, she was gone. How could he blame her though? He had been the one that was trying to get rid of her just moments before.
The stallion then spotted a rabbit and he grinned. The little prick would probably know where she was. Sweeney strode up to the rabbit, trapping it up against the tree. He smiled briefly before saying "Pardon, but you haven't seen Lovett around 'ere anywhere have you?"
The rabbit looked around quickly for any escape. This horse was actually scaring him. "Um, y-y-yes sir." it stuttered out. "I saw her 'n' 'nother lady go to the pond. I'm sure you'll fin 'em there." it squeaked out before darting under Sweeney's legs and hopping away as fast as it could. The Friesian snorted and continued to go on in the direction of the pond. Who did they think they were, playing in the pond? Fillies? Just the thought caused Sweeney to roll his orbs in an over dramatic fashion. He just did not understand how horses could sometimes be so bloody carefree. They were all idiots. He knew he was close when he heard voices and water splashing. This just caused him to make another annoyed huff, and once again roll his eyes in his overly dramatic fashion. He did not draw any attention to himself though. If they noticed him, then good for them. The black stag just walked over to a patch of grass and actualyl started to eat for once. He did not do that very much normally. Luna The little mare had decided that she was going to go on an adventure. Before she left, she had to make sure that Batalla, her older friend, was not watching her. Once Batalla had her back turned and her attention focused on grazing, Luna made a quiet escape. Now she was trotting around in the dark lands of all places. At least she looked like she belonged there. The mare was an ashy black with even darker banners. Her hooves were the colour of the night sky, and she ven had a slight bit of feathering thanks to her Friesian father. The one marking that made the little mare stand out was the white on her face. It wasn' t just a little bit of white, like a blaze, no, it covered her whole face on either side. Since Luna had so much white on her face, it was only natural that her optics were smokey blue.
No matter how normal the mare looked, she was far from it. Luna had suffered major head trauma when she arrived on Isola Dei Dei. It had caused her to, litteraly, go mad. Although she was very kind and gentle, aside the fact that she was very strange, she would get these mean streaks that would get her into loads of trouble. Batalla was convinced that before she had found the damaged mare, that this mare had been a dark one who liked to fight.
The ebony vixen came to a halt when she heard water splashing, and voices. A big smile appeared on her maw as she moved into a trot once again. Who were the creatures amking all the racket? Luna loved to meet new horses, or other animals, since she did not yet know who, or what, the creatures were.
Luna picked up her pace as she neared the source of the sound. Without slowing she crashed through the trees, only to knock into someone and send them backwards a bit. Luna's smile turned into a frown. She thought that she was being attacked. Her once happy orbs turned dark with anger. Wh owould do this to her? There she was minding her own business and the next thing she knew, she was getting hit!
The mare now saw that her 'attacker' was a large Friesian type horse. Luna huffed and marched up to him. She could take him. Even though she was small, she sure put up a hell of a fight. She halted in front of the stallion, glared, and then swiftly turned around and kicked him square in the chest.
Batalla The liver chestnut vixen had been having a nice, relaxing day with Luna. Luna was a little, mad mare that Batalla had adopted several years back. She was very protective of the little black mare, almost like a mother. Batalla had found the poor girl when she was only four on the beaches of Isola Dei Dei, obviously washed up. Once she found out that Luna had suffered serious head injuries, she knew that no stallion would ever want her.
Batalla, having lost her own son only a couple months ago, took Luna in as if she were her daughter. The black mare was just as curious as Diez, Batalla's son, used to be. It was like the mare was seeing the world new again. That was five years ago. Now, Luna was a nine year old and Batalla was fifteen. The two had become very close friends over the years.
Batalla lifted her Arab-like crown and turned, expecting Luna to be there. She wasn't. Batalla quickly spat out the grass she was chewing on, and followed the other mare's hoof prints in the dirt. Batalla knew that Luna had issues with rage, and it looked like she was heading into the dark lands. Horses there would make her angry, Batalla knew that bit. She was just afraid of what Luna would try to do to them, and what the outcome for the poor mare would be.
~~
Batalla arrived to an opening in the dark lands. There seemed to be horses there already. Two mares were happily mucking about in a pond, looking as if they were having a jolly good time. The vixen's amber eyes then strayed to the opposite shore. Well, she had found Luna. The little black mare was facing a rather large, frightening looking stallion who had a look in his orbs like he wanted to spill Luna's blood. Batalla gasped when Luna turned around and kicked the stallion in his chest.
Batalla bolted out and rushed infront of Luna and the stallion, trying to push Luna away. All the little mare did was glare at her and bite her. Batalla knew that she would loose against Luna. Maybe she could save her by talking their way out of this. With another glance at the black stallion, she knew that that was out of the question.

Masquerade had been ignoring the two mares and Sweeney for the past couple of hours. The masked stallion had ventured closer to the pond where Lynx and her friend were wading in the murky waters. The stag had also noticed that that Sweeney bloke was close by, only he wasn't grazing like a normal horse. He seemed to be pacing back and forth with a look on his face that told Masquerade he was deep in thought, and most likely ignoring the two mares in the water.
Teh stallion nosed his way into the clearing, but stayed far away from the other stallion and the mares. The grass seemed to taste better where he was anyway. Over by the mares there wasn't even a measly patch of grass, just dirt that was getting kicked around by Sweeney and his constant moving. Masquerade was still a bit on edge around the other black stalllion. Just the way Sweeney looked at him made him shiver a bit. Who knew that one stallion could make you feel so uncomfortable. If it were any other stallion, it wouldn't have phased Masquerade one little bit.
All of the sudden Masquerade heard the sound of two horses colliding. The stag's crown shot up, only to put his ebony and crimson forelock in front of his orbs. The stallion gave an annoyed huff, and tossed his head so his hair wuold get out of his face. Now he could see what was going on.
A black mare with marking like his but covering her whole face, had smacked into Sweeney. Masquerade almost felt sorry for the mare. He had not yet observed what the other stallion could do, but he was sure that it wasn't pleasant. A moment passed when Sweeney didn't do anyhting but teeter a bit from the impact. Maybe he wasn't so bad as he came out to be.
A smug grin danced on Masquerade's maw. What if this stallion was al lbark and no bite? Masquerade would give anything to see this little ivory faced mare kick Sweeney's arse. Masquerade stepped back a bit when another mare darted out and slammed her body between the black mare and Sweeney, only to get bitten by the mare she was trying to protect. This was going to be a rather interesting day afterall.
We all deserve to dieS W E E N E Y Sweeney continued to pace back and forth, totally tuning out Lovett and her new friend. Why did mares like to talk so much? It was lamost like torture to Sweeney. Before, when he was a different horse, Sweeney would have enjoyed Lovett's company and constant chattering. Now, it was like nails across a chalk board to him when she kept going on and on wiht her pointless stories. She seemed so bloody cheerful. That was why Sweeney had learned to tune her out when he was thinking, soemthing he did a lot. Almost so much it was a bit unhealthy for him.
All he could think about was that bastard, Aro. He used to live in the community of horses in these parts when it wasn't part of the dark lands yet. Aro had been the one bad seed in the bunch. He seemed to think he ruled over all of them, even though it wasn't a herd, but Aro treated it that way. He bossed them all around, and they just took it like it was supposed to be that way! Back then though, Sweeney had let him govern them as well. He was so young then. Young, stupid, and in love.
Love. That is what changed everything so much. He had met his beautiful Lucy when she was passing through the land that the group of horses lived on. He was taken with her immeadiatly, and her with him. They had lived that way for a couple of years, until that slimey rat of a horse Aro decided that he wanted Lucy all to himself. Of course Sweeney let it happen. Aro got some of his 'friends' to bea tup Sweeney and drive him away. Far away. So far away that it had taken him a long time to get back here. He had come back only to find that his Lucy was dead, the community had become a dark place, and Aro had left without a second thought.
Sweeney's time alone had changed him. That was obvious to Lovett when she had met up again with him now. He used to be a charming, talkative horse to be around. He loved other horses and was always happy to chat with them. Now he did not want anyone talking to him, and the only thing he seemed to live for was revenge on Aro.
All of the sudden, Sweeney was shaken from his thoughts when something smacked into him and sent him staggering a bit. What the hell? Sweeney's dark optics finally focused on a small mare with a white face and blue eyes. He stared at her for a moment, hoping that she had just bumped into him by mistake. Sweeney didn't have a problem with mares, he left them alone and tried to ignore them. He only killed stallions.
His mind was changed instantly when he felt the mare kick him square in the chest. Sweeney narrowed his optics as he stared at her. He was going to be very happy when she was dead. He stepped forward a bit, now knowing that the mare was not going to back down. then, another body was placed between him and the mare. At first he thought it might be Lovett, but then he realised the mare didn't smell like her. Yes, another bloody mare.
Sweeney backed up a few steps only to see the black mare bite the larger mare. Sweeney proceeded to march forth again, pushing the liver chestnut out of his way like she wasn't even there. With a smirk on his face he quickly grabbed the small mare's neck with his ivories and ripped. He watched her as her face turned from pain to horror as she staggered around, the life literally oozing out of her.
Sweeney's orbs were wild as he face, neck, and chest were covered with blood. "You." he snarled at the liver chestnut. The mare seemed ot be frozen in her spot looking at her dead friend. The liver chestnut then charged at Sweeney, biting him on the side of the neck. Sweeney laughed a bit and said "That all y'got?"
With that the liver chestnut ended up having the same poor fate as he ebony friend. All of the sudden Sweeney realised what he had done. He quickly glanced to Masquerade who was staring at him slack jawed. The stag's dark eyes left the masked stallion and focused on nothing. He seemed to be staring into space, oblivious as to what was going on around him. He just stood, staring, with his soft, ebony coat covered with the blood from two mares. The only one who probably wasn't frightened from this was Lovett. In fact she'd probably be the one to walk over to him first. It wouldn't be a shock if Sweeney's little display had chased the chestnut mare and her masked friend away. » Lovett shook her mane, working off her laugh to a giggle, and let her eyes stray from her new friend to glance around them, and immediatly snapped into attention when she spotted a black form dashing through the forest ..and slamming into Sweeny. She frowned, ears flicking. This wasn't going to end pretty. Lynx looked at Lovett strangely, before turning her head to see what was going on, water dripping down her pelt from her soaked mane. Lovett gave her a worried glance. "Uhm, Lynxie dear, why don' you fin' us a place to ge' a snack?
" she said, just as a liver chestnut mare joined Sweeny and the other mare. Lynx frowned, eyes still lingering on the trio, and began to move off, casting unsure glances backwards. The roan nodded, turning her gaze back to Sweeny and the two mares just as Sweeny ripped out the smaller one's throat with a sicking rip. Lovett simply sighed as the other mare attacked the fresian stallion and got the same treatment. She glanced over to see that Masquerade had joined them, sort of, and he looked quite surprised. This was just a daily occurance for the roan. She dragged her feet along in the water as she moved to get out to go to Sweeny, lowering her crown to examine the bodies, sniffing them over. " There, you've 'ad your fun. Now, wah we gonna do 'bout them?" She looked up at Sweeny, an eyebrow raised, but then turned her head at Lynx's scream. " BLOODY MURDER!" Lynx had been watching, frozen in fear, and now she finally could move again now that the terror was over. She could smell blood. It was strong in her flared nostrils. And of course, she had to scream. It was horrible what she saw. It could have been her for goodness' sake! After she yelled, she turned and bolted off into the forest, ears flattened to her skull, white showing in her wide green irises. Lovett frowned, watching the mare run off with a sigh. " Now look wah 'ou've done, 'ou scared 'er away." [/blockquote] ooc: Mwahaha muse: ehhh song: anthem of the angels - breaking benjamin / a little priest |Lynx & Lovett|

Masquerade shook his crown and brought himself back to earth. His multi-coloured orbs made their way down to the dead bodies on the forest floor. He quickly had his attenion diverted when he heard Lynx scream to Sweeney that he was a murderer. Masquerade fought back the urge to roll his orbs. Figure that out all by yourself did ya Lynx?
The masked stallion watched as Lynx ran off. Masquerade walked over to Lovett and Sweeney, carefully stepping over the corpses. "Ahh, I see tha' Lynx has run off, so I'll go fetch 'er and bring 'er back with me. You'd think the poor girl never saw a death before in 'er pitiful life." he said, mostly to Lovett, since he did not fancy talking to Sweeney one bit. With another glance at the said stallion, Masquerade trotted off calling Lynx's name, a bit angry that she had run away like a silly little filly. [/blockquote] We all deserve to dieS W E E N E Y Sweeney barely paid attention as the masked stallion walked over and said something or other to Lovett. The only word Sweeney had caught out of his whole statement was fetching. He assumed that he was going to go get the chestnut mare back. Good, let him leave, he seemed to be useless anyway.
The stallion shook his crown as Lovett's voice reached his ears. Of course he had scared the poor girl away. She was not in her element in these lands. She was a one of the lightest horses Sweeney had set his eyes on in a long time. It was no surprise that she ran away. Sweeney just gave Lovett a glare. I don't care that she ran away you daft woman. In fact, I'm glad she ran away. Teh less horses, the better
Lovett then said something about the bodies. She did have apoint, what were they going to do about them? Sweeney turned his head and stared at her for a moment. What were the going to do? He then pushed past her, accidently getting some of the blood on her pelt as he bumped into her. He started to pace again by the water's edge. What were they going to do? After a minute or two he stopped and stared off into the forest. He turned his crown to look at Lovett and then back into space. Maybe Lovett would come up with an idea, cause he sure didn't have one. » Lovett nodded to Masquerade. "'ou do that,
" she said, flicking her tail as he left to go search for Lynx. She continued to study the dead bodies of the two mares. Well, they did ask for it once you thought about it. She would probably try and kill someone if they pissed her off well enough. That, or she could see if Sweeny would do it for her. He had a weird fetish for killing people. She didn't question it, but it was weird. Her eyes followed Sweeny as he paced around, his face brooding. She blinked and then looked bsck down at the dead bodies. An idea struck her. " Ya know, love, there's been rumors 'o those Reaper blokes comin' back. They 'ight be a lil' hungry, don' ya think?" she said, raising an eyebrow up at the Fresian. Lynx continued to gallop through the forest, completely ignoring the calls of Masquerade. Why the hell was he coming to get her? Isn't it what he wanted, for her to leave him be? " Go away!" she shouted, before taking advantage of her arab blood and charging faster through the trees. [/blockquote]
