The masked stallion frowned as he heard Lynx speed up. Damn her and her Arabian heritage. Those stupid little Arabs just had to be faster than everyone else. Masquerade wasn't built for speed or agility. He was built for strength, fighting. The large stallion snorted and picked up his pace, his hooves making aloud sound on the hard ground.
His audits flicked as she told him to go away. Masquerade sneered a bit and said "No.
[/color] For some reason he felt like he owed something to Lassan for all the trouble he had caused, and he had a mindset that watching out for Lynx was his payment to Lassan. Sweeney looked back to Lovett as she voiced her idea. The reapers. Perfect! Beside getting rid of the bodies, they could also form some kind of treaty with the Reapers so that they would not be harmed since they basically gave those death horses free food. It seemed like a brilliant idea to Sweeney.
The stag turned around to face Lovett. This time he actually had a smal smile on his face. "Lovett,"

Sweeney then turned away and began to pace again. "Now that bloke needs to come back. » Lovett nodded, smiling briefly at the brute before letting it fade. She was proud of herself, sure, but she didn't want to over-do it and just piss Sweeny off with a stupid grin. She looked to where the masked bloke and Lynx had disapeared, flicking her ears. She hoped her friend would come back. She had a lot of fun with her. The roan gave a slight smirk as she turned back to Sweeny. This was such a perfect plan. Lynx couldn't help but roll her eyes at Masquerade. He was wasting his time trying to bring her back. But she felt bad for leaving Lovett there with Sweeny. Ugh. How could she stand that disturbed stallion? He'd be the death of the roan some day. The least Lynx could do she supposed was that she could help fight the stallion off when he finally turned on her. So, she slowed, scowling. She stood, thinking. Would it be worth it? Well, she hoped so. Lynx turned and trotted back the way she came, not looking at Masquerade as she passed him, glaring at the brush ahead. She hated it when other people win.

Masquerade stood there dumbfounded as Lynx strode right past him as if nothing had happened. What the hell? The stallion huffed and followed after her. He had an angry expression, much like that of an annoyed todler. What was she doing?
Masquerade stood, unmoving until he could no longer hear Lynx's hoofbeats. He then whirled around and trotted after her. "Bloody girl is gonna be the death o' me some day."
[/color] he muttered to himself as she followed her tracks back to where Lovett and Sweeney were. Masquerade slwoed and walked over to Lovett, looking at her with abit of concern. She didn't seem to phased by Sweeney's outburst. Masquerade also felt a bit protective of her safety. From what he saw, Sweeney shouldn't be trusted to be alone with the small mare. He could finish her as easily as any horse could whisk away a fly. "Are you alrigh'?"[/color] he asked Lovett, amking sure that she wasn't hurt at all by Sweeney in all his rage. Sweeney caught the smile on Lovett's face. He almost rolled his orbs but then stopped himself. He was just about to ask her why she had a grin slapped on her face when she quickly regained her composure. She was very, unique. Sweeney knew that she was, and always had been, infatuated with him. Yes she was rather annoying always trying to be with him, but yet she was the only one who understood him now. Even though he did not want her, he needed her. And for that, he was grateful to have her with him.
His robs slwoly made their way over to her as his mind reeled with thoughts. He quickly looked away when he caught her eye. Thankfully, he saw the chestnut mare, Lovett's friend Lynx, waltzing back in, staying far away from him. It would be hard for her to go to Lovett since, of course, she was right at his side.
Sweeney moved away when Masquerade came up to Lovett and asked her if she was okay. "Of course she's alright you daft git."
[/color] he spat as he began to pace again, away from the group that had formed. Why wouldn't she be alright? He couldn't fathom as to why Masquerade was asking. It then hit him. He had, and did, threaten Lovett with death and pain all the time. So it made sense. [/size][/blockquote][/font] even you Mrs. Lovett, even I OPEN TO Lynx

» Lynx stood far away from Sweeney and Lovett, her back turned from them. She didn't want to see the bodies, or their faces at the moment, either. They were sick for doing this. But it was life. Sigh. Lovett was slightly sad that her friend wouldn't talk to her, but she distracted herself by talking to Masquerade after Sweeney yelled at him. "Yes yes, dear, I'm fine. Thank you for asking,
[/color]" she said, giving him a friendly smile, before turning over to the bodies of the two mares, glancing down onto her pelt to finally realize that Sweeney had smeared blood on her. She frowned, but didn't say anything of it. " Now, I think, wou' be a excellent time to feed te' demons, yes?[/color]" Lovett said, cocking her head at the two stallions.
