Aiden The Last Fire Lord Aiden lazily made his way back to where he had held the first herd meeting. It was a long strecth of ebony volcanic rock that was settled between a large volcano an a 'field' of dying grasses. Off in the distance a forest could be seen, as well as an actual green field for grazing. It really was the perfect spot. Plus the ground was hot and magma would spew from random cracks in the earth.
Aiden made his way over to a small rise in the land, almost like the start of a hill. He halted and looked around. He didn't see any of the herd members any where. He threw his warmblood-like crown in the air and sounded the call for the rest of the Zunden to come to the meeting.

La Fiamma De Bellezza She burns like the sun And I can't look away And she'll burn our horizons Make no mistake Bellezza had just begun to graze contentedly in the gentle sunlight when she heard the loud call of her lead. With a scowl she raised her dainty crown, streaked tassels plummeting over her fiery red pelt and shielding one of her sparkling onyx orbs. Flicking her silky tail in annoyance sparks erupted from the end, igniting the ground in small patches, which she quickly dimmed without even so much as a stomp of a powerful dagger. Sighing loudly she launched forwards into an elegant canter, beautiful face tucked to her chest, her delicate neck arched, her coal hooves burning into the dry ground. As the meeting wasn’t far away she reached it quite swiftly, and slid to a stop, her daggers scraping across the rocky ground with a screeching sound, sparks flying. A brief smile flashed over her velveteen kissers as she saw Aiden, and she walked leisurely towards him, stopping a few yards away and nodding her stunning crown to him.

Aithne Aithne had been wadering the fhe forests nearby, investigating whatever she could find. Well, since you were half anti-social, what else were you going to do? She knew the land pretty well now, thank you very much, maybe even more than the others knew. She had discovered that in the section of the forest near the volcano there was a huge pit of lava spewing from somewhere in the ground. It was shallower than what it looked like, and would make an excellent hot tub to relax in, that is, if you like high temperatured 'water'. She was watching a curious-looking tropical bird when the call rang out. Aithne flicked her auds in diapointment, frowning as the bird took alarm and flew away at the loud bugle. "This better be important..." she mumbled grumpily, turning off in the direction, stepping out of the shade of the forest's trees.
The bloody bay vixen loped in Aiden's direction, her long eboney mane billowing in the wind her movements caused. Her stocky, black flame-dipped pillars pounded the Earth in small rythem. Why did Aiden have to be so far away? Her nares flared and her orbs rolled in slight annoyance. She wanted to control the Isle and all, but did she have to be in a herd? Distantly she spotted Aiden, and the sarcastic bitch what-ever her name was. It wasn't important now, was it? Unless the fae became Lady. That would be the last straw for Aithne. She was already irritated from random things in her life, like having to stick around with a bunch of self-centered hellions for example, and the list would go on. She liked it when she was by herself, free to do whatever she wished when she wanted to. Leaders weren't bad, but they just annoyed her. Prancing around with their heads in the clouds. Aiden was a fine leader, even though he didn't much involve himself, but why should he? Its just the affairs of his constantly bickering herd. But I guess he does need a Queen to help him out. She'd be fine with anyone. Except for Bellezza. Then not only would there be a queen, but a queen of the sarcastic bitches. She smirked softly.
Heart thudding in her chest from her long-distance gallop, Aithne slowed, quite weary at the moment. Her auds flicked forward and back, constantly twitching. She wasn't built for flat out runs. She foamed slightly at the mouth and legs, and her nares flared wildly as she fought to catch her breath again. The vixen glanced at Bellezza. If she had any remark for her, Aithne would slit her throat. Shaking her mane and pretending nothing was wrong, Aithne straightened up and took a look around. For once, she was early. Her cat-like yellow orbs blinked a few times. Huh, wierd. Usually she was some of the last. She said nothing to the two; she was here, wasn't she? If she had a choice, she would skip these meetings, even though this one would probaly be important. Long eboney banner flicked upon her rump. She shouldn't of come so early; she would have to wait longer. A sharp dagger began scrapping at the Earth, a soft metallic screech at each cut, sparks popping at the friction. The noise wasn't enough to hurt any-horse's ears, maybe to annoy them, but she wasn't open to any opinions.

Fire's Romance The bright orange mare grazed boredly on the vegitation when she heard Aiden's call. With a snort of anger, she set off at a lazy trot. With her foal beside her, she thought for a few moments. She was starting to regret screwing with that basterd. But she was brought out of her thoughts as she approached the others, she let a loud snort escape.. Eventually I'll have more muse and edit this and make Firefly's post.

The fea rolled her eyes. This ought to be very important, Jante thought. She shifted into a smooth canter, showing off her muscles. Her foal Rio, was coming behind her. Rio's sire was the predesscor to Aiden, a much kinder Zunden. Sparks flew from her banners as she shifted into a gallop.
Sliding into a spot near the gathering, she walked up to the group, waiting for the discussion to start. Rio started to suckle quietly. Sparks flying off the switching tail.

Aiden The Last Fire Lord Aiden looked up as he heard the sound of hooves appraoching. Of course Bellezza would be the first one there, he just left from being with her, telling her that there was to be a herd meeting soon. He flicked his sooty banner rather lazily and sighed. Now just the rest of the herd had to get here.
A few more equine then made their appearances. Aithne was the second one to the meeting, which was odd since she was usually one of the last to come. Aiden figured she must have been close to this spot when he called out for the meeting. Then he spotted the whore of a filly Romance come to the meeting with Firefly. Aiden glared at Romance, but looked at her daughter in a much kinder way.
Aiden snorted, scraping a dagger on the hard earth, causing a noise much like Aithne had done when had been scraping her own flint on the ebony rock. Aiden stopped his impatient scraping when he saw Jante and her new colt, Rio make their way into the little group. Aiden gave them a quick smile. "I called this meeting to let you know who I am choosing for higher herd positions. I will wait to start, since not quite all of us are here yet." he said with a quick nod of his crown.

Jante smiled back at Aiden, then nuzzled Rio. A few birds flew nearby, squawking loudly, annoying Jante. She set their tails on fire, smirking as the fire consumed them.

Vatra Dust curled around the mare. She was currently topside down, rolling in the ashes and embers. They felt good upon her much too cool coat. Their heat excited her, pelt beginning to quiver. How she loved being one of the fire herd. Not just the power, but the feeling of satisfaction she got whenever she was near fire. A loud bugle echoed around the chasm where she was currently located. Auds picked up on the leader's call. Aiden must have made his decisions about the herd. Now that order would be restored, they could go about taking over once and for all. She was suddenly eager for the meeting, sprining up onto her pillars and stepping into a swift and powerful gallop. The wind whipped the embers and soot from her pelt, though a darkish tint had clung to her outer covering, making her color more of a burnt orange. Mane and tail billowed out behind her, leaving a trail of thin spoke in her wake.
Not ten minutes had gone by before she caught sight of ther herd. Only seven were present so far and it didn't appear that Aiden had started yet. Her speed slowed to a walk, nares flaring slightly. The thump of her hooves was no longer as prominent, though they still struck the hard ground as she approached them. Aiden. Her dome bowed gracefully to the king as she greeted him, kissers pulling into a smile. Orbs flicked around the group, noting who was there so far. Romance, her filly, Bellezza, Aithne, Jante, her filly, and Aiden. She was pleased to see that the next line of Zunden were here. They would be key in keeping the herd alive, even if one was born in a most unconventional way. Gaze returned to Aiden, waiting for him to start.

La Fiamma De Bellezza. She burns like the sun And I can't look away And she'll burn our horizons Make no mistake A harsh snarl ripped at Bellezza’s petite chest as Aithne arrived, although she attempted to stem it down, her pearly ivories grinding together angrily. Snapping her silky, streaked banner sideways she swatted at the flies, sparks created and singing the annoying pests from the air with ease. She appeared relatively calm, although her usually idle stance was tense, her muscles rippling beneath the surface of her smooth coat as her sombre, coal orbs glared furiously at the narcissistic vixen, her mood fiery. Dragon smoke poured from the velveteen flares of Bellezza, thick and dark as it circled upwards, intricate patterns entwining themselves in the humid air. Exhaling loudly she relaxed her rigid bodice, the tension slipping away, instantly hearing her dam’s voice, “Ignore them, they aren’t worth it” immediately followed with a sickening pang of guilt: still, the phrase was true, she wouldn’t let that little uptight bitch get to her, although if she had anything to say Bellezza wouldn’t hesitate and would quite happily vaporize her. A gentle chuckle escaped as she thought of it, watching the mare puffing and panting, her stocky frame the opposite of Bellezza’s dainty one. She watched a few other members arrive, and smiled graciously to them all, happy to see the young foals; the future generation of Zunden, ready to continue the perfect race.

Jante nodded to Vatra, as she came up. She started cleaning her colt, Rio. She like Firefly, but Romance was just another wretch, like the regular's down below them. She snorted, waiting for everyone to come.
[[If no one comes within two days, can you [Vel] please announce the ranks?]]

Cirque de Lasair had been at one of the furthest points of the Zunden’s territory when she heard her lead’s bugle. Her tiara swept from the earth, dainty legs shoving off into a full canter. Within seconds, the small-framed mare was running at her highest speed to get to the meeting. It had not been long since the herd’s last meetings; something important must be on the regime’s mind. She arrived upon the scene to see several of the others had already gathered. Slowing to a trot and then a complete halt, the mare gave a half bow to Aiden before blending in with the rest of the group. Her attention was not on anyone else for the time being, not having been here long enough to know why the others were already so on edge. It was not uncommon to find Zunden on edge anyways, they tended to have a pretty rotten temperament all-in-all.

Golden essa walked steahily through the under-brush, looking for a patch of grass not encrusted in lava and magma. It took a good minute or two to find one, and she quickly ate it, before raising her crown at the sound of a horse. A whinny. Perhaps a calling. Snorting, rather annoyedily, she turned and trotted towards where she had heard the sound from.
She came from the oppisite side, and saw Aiden, along with a few other members of the herd standing around, pricking her auds to catch some of their words, she heard Aiden say that he would be anoucing the higher herd ranks - which, of course, sparked her interest.
Walking down the hill, she did her best not to look rather pissed, althrough she was, due to a lack of sleep. But, she blamed that on herself, and finally gave up trying not to. "Hmm..Quess it's about time." she commented bladly as she stepped in amoung the group
ooc- Sorry, can't get on much. I'm grounded, so I gotta sneak on at night..

The filly snarls at Jante, ivories bared furiously. Zeniths flicked back, she gives one last glare and goes to the other side of her dam, nuzzling her shoulder. With her sire smiling at her, the filly stomps her flamed, long and skinny daggar angrily. leave me alone! why do you care 'bout me you bitches?' the rather muted thought crosses her mind about saying it, but decides not too. Ivories bared, her bright red optics glaring, she snorts. God, why can't these adults understand? She won't be content until her mother is loved, she loves her dam. It's not fair to either that she's treated as a whore.. [/blockquote]

Jante rolled her eyes.Whatever, wench, she thought. She kept her maw shut and harks pricked, waiting for Aiden to say something. She nodded a hello to Lasair and Danasi. The warm breeze the blew across the terra felt good, waving her banners, sending sparks in Firefly's, and Romance's direction. She studied the ground there, making it glow with heat, and shoot off sparks underneath Firefly and Romance. Though she caused this, she looked bored and innocent, as she had practiced this look many a time.

Aiden The Last Fire Lord Aiden's crown raised a bit as more of his herd members made their way into the meeting. Vatra, Danasi, and Lasair had finally come. There were only a few missing. That was ok though, if any of them had positions, they would find out later. Their own fault for not showing. Aiden snorted loud enough to draw the attention to him. His crimson orbs danced across the Zunden, taking each one of them in. "As you all proabably guessed, I called this meeting to assign herd positions." he said, taking a few steps forward. "I'll just get down to it. Some of the equine who have earned a spot are not with us at the moment. I will start off with the positions of Beta Stag. Milintica gets the spot, but seeing as he has decided to do more important things, I guess he will find out later. Beta Marewill be who ever he chooses, of course, they must possess qualities of a good leader as well." Aiden paused, drawing in a breath. "Now for the warriors. Obviously we will all be fighting in battles, but we need equine to plan these battles out for us. Male Knight will be Cynnau, who is also out doing something. Female Knight will be Danasi. Second in command to them will be Lasair." Aiden looked to both mares as he said their callings. "I have not decided who will be Lady, but I will. Eventually. That gives you all the more time to prove yourself. I'll consider everyone, even those with herd positions already. After all, I've only spent time with a few of you." he said, looking around at all the mares. Aiden bobbed his head, letting them know that they were now free to go. "Congratulations to those who have earned a position. With that, he turned to leave. If any of them wanted to talk with him, they could follow him.
