Ember's Ashes Ember was fuming when she realzied that she had not acheived warrior status. What god damn bitch did? Who's ass did she need to kick now? Dansia, and Lasair. To stupid names. Her ears went flat back in rage. She knew that she had no chance at Fire Lady, so this ment she would have no rank.
Who cares. You are still a warrior at heart. She thought, and nodded at her own words. Her hooves shuffled some dirt, lightly burning it. It just didn't make sense, why in a sense, did she feel comfort around Aiden? She hated the dum stag. She wanted to give him such bad burns he couldn't walk, for treating her so poorly. Yet....
Isn't there anyone? Isn't there anyone like me out there? She whispered to herself, snorting, she walked off. Another useless meeting. More useless equines. And she still had to fight just to be noticed.
But you just can't give up....

Golden fem watched Aiden with curiousity, wonderin gif she would achieve the warrior postion she had hoped for. Lime orbs watched Aiden, at least he was getting striaght to the point. It didn't take long, first he appointed the beta stallion, Miltanicia. She didn't know him, and he wasn't here, so she didn't really care. When he came to announce the knights, she pricked her auds, listening intently. 'The lead male will be Cyrus, and the lead female will be Danasi..'
Her mind was instantly alight with joy, and plans. Plans for attacking, of course. 'Well, I'll just have to talk to him, again, soon.' Althrough, she was notoureously glad that Belleza hadn't gotten the lead mare spot, just the thought of that idiotic bitch was enough to make her blood run hot. But soon, the meeting was over, and she walked away. She headed towards the nearest bed of water, ready for a drink, and mind in full-scale battle mode.

La Fiamma De Bellezza. She burns like the sun And I can't look away And she'll burn our horizons Make no mistake Bellezza listened to the announcements, not too bothered that she didn’t get a position: just because she wasn’t a high rank doesn’t mean she wouldn’t have any fun killing all the filthy half-breds and such. Watching Danasi walk away she followed her swiftly, catching up with her just as she reached the water source, the glittering liquid shimmering in the sunlight. Speaking out politely to the fae she said, “Congratulations on being elected Knight” sighing lightly she continued, “And I’m sorry about the other day. I know you most likely won’t accept it but I’m fed up to fuck of being called a sarcastic bitch. It wasn’t just me.” A frustrated scowl crossed her velveteen kissers before she dropped her head to the clear water, taking a deep gulp of it and feeling it slide down her parched throat, soothing it.

Neon banners flicked lightly about in the slight wind, sending the occanisional spark flying in a random direction. Dipping her maw into the refreshing waters, she sipped the liquid welcomingly. Flicking her thorns back to catch the sounds of hoof-beats behind her, she lifted her crown to see Bellezza. "Thanks." she said bluntly, her lyrics taunt with inbound fury. Scoffing, she went to stand under-neath a large sycamore tree, leaning her bod againest it. "If you don't want to be called a sarcastic bitch, then don't act like one." she added. "Who else was it then?" she asked her, jade optics glowing, a slight curiousity as to what Bellezza was saying adding to the rage.

La Fiamma De Bellezza. She burns like the sun And I can't look away And she'll burn our horizons Make no mistake Flames danced through her usually sombre coal orbs as the mare spoke, thick puffs of smoke billowing from her silky flares, grinding her pearly ivories together agitatedly. Her voice spat out harshly, “You know what, I don’t even know why I bother. I’ve tried to apologize, but no-one is ever good enough for you, are they?” Raising her dainty crown her petite bodice shook with rage, orbs glowing red like two demented rubies as they stared furiously at Danasi. Continuing her voice was as sharp as a blade, with a malevolent edge to it so cold the humid air seemed to freeze, “Look you little stuck up bitch, I wasn’t the one that challenged you in the first place! I was simply frazzling a few flies and you took it the wrong way, and then that stupid wench Aithne got involved” her fiery red pelt itched to ignite, but she bit it back and controlled herself, although small fireballs kept popping randomly around her physique. Fire streamed easily from her flares, scorching the air around her, heat waves reverberating off her slim frame, her anger definitely showing.

Sun-kissed ess kept her glare steady, watching Bellezzas' moves, readying herself for a long anticipated fight. As she saw sparks begin to fly from Bellezza, she instantly let her anger course through her bodice, flames rippling, her dreads becoming turning bright, and flaming, and her lime-like lanterns becoming shining beacons through the fire. She hadn't worried about the sycamore she had been leaning against, which was now on fire, the fire quickly eating up the its' branches and leaves, burning it slowly into the ground. "Sure, there are some 'good enough for me.' But worthless two-bit whores like yourself aren't anywhere near good enough. Not for myself, nor for the fire herd. We don't need a pathetic bitch such as you taking up our land, hell, I doubt even the mortals would want you." she sneered, advancing a few steps to wards the mare, as if daring her to fight. "Don't try to turn this shit on me, Bellezza. You and I know perfectly well you challenged me. Aithne got sick of your bullshit, and so am I. You trying to strut around like lead mare, being sarcastic about every fucking thing, you're asking us to hate you." mare snapped, fangs bared aggressively, "Well, you got that part right at least. 'Cause we do."

Lasair’s ears flick back in slight annoyance by some of the nearby antics directed towards the unpopular mare and her filly. Then, Aiden began his speech, and Lasair was happy with the position she had received. Sure, she was no brute and the position did not seem to befit her, but she was certain the role would suit her. The mare was smart on her feet and she had a natural charm that allowed her to be quite efficient at ploys of trickery. After all, all was fair in war… and love too it appeared. Personally, this mare was becoming quite sick of the love ring. She had never tried for Aiden’s heart and just was not too certain why the others did seek it so badly. It must be the power that they sought; the power of being goddess. A wonderful position, sure, but she was not going to break her neck for it. Lasair did not care about power, and as for guys… she was rather charming.
The mare was about to head off on her own ray when she saw the disturbance between two mares not far from her. Snorting a puff of smoke from her nares, the mare headed their direction at a swift canter. She quickly stanced herself between the two. “Now is not the time for these disputes,” she murmured calmly. Her long lashes blinked over golden flecks as she turned her gaze between the two mares. “I am not sure what this is about, but we need to save the fighting for the other herds. Once we retake our claim of the island, then feel free to clash with one another. But, for now, cooperating with each other is essential.”

Vatra Aiden had made great choices for leadership positions. The mare found herself agreeing with each of the equines that he had appointed to positions. For her, they would have to prove their spots, but they seemed well suited for the time being. Their attack on the mortal herds would prove a challenge for them all. Apparently some were unhappy that they hadn't been picked and some had gone so far as to bicker with one another. She was glad that Lasair had stepped in the middle of the fight between Bellezza and Danasi. Danasi was a valuable member of the herd and no one needed injured equines on their hands. Everyone knew just how quickly a Zunden's temper flared. Form stepped slightly to the side, braced for whatever was to come, whether it was fire fighting fire or flesh fighting flesh. Lasair is right. Can we try to be civilized for the time being? There are more important things at hand other than arguing with one another. Soft but firm lyri followed Lasair's. Her banner slowly swung back and forth, the picture of calm. She was supprised by her ability to keep her cool. It was a trait she hadn't noticed in herself in years.
