Ember's Ashes
The mare trod into the barren land, letting the magma spew onto her. She could care less, being the pyro that she was, nothing could be better then getting burned. Her coat looked near burnt anyhow. The ash marks that dotted around her terra cotta eyes where dull, and she stopped sudenly on a patch of very dead grass. "I see this land has not changed since the Flame herd had reinged so long ago. I wonder what pety stallion leads now." She muttered.

Aiden The Fire Lord
The ashen rose stag had come to land of his ancestors. He was the rightful owner of this land, it was in his blood. Aiden was part of the 'royal family' as any of the Fire erd called it. He had the blood of every Fire Lord before him coursing through his veins. This land was his.
Aiden had known that other Zunden would find their way here eventually. It was ust a matter of time. After anough came, he would work with them to regain control of Isola Dei Dei.
Aiden had been contently grazing in dying shrubbery, when he felt the presence of another equine. Who ever it is better be one with Zunden blood. If not, they will be sorry that they wandered onto this patch of land. Aiden snorted an broke into a slwo trot, maw in the air to catch the scent of the other equine.
After a few minutes of seraching, Aiden saw afigure up ahead. He let out a snort and his trot became more powerful. As he grew closer, he could see that she had Zunden blood in her. If she wasn't a pure blood, she would be terminated.
Aiden halted several strides in front of her. "What are you doing here vixen?" he asked, an edge to his vocals.

Ember's Ashes
The mare shifted and snorted. Her head held high, her breath was hot, as smoke clouds bellowed out her flared nostrils. She shifted again, standing taller. The stallion before her, was lead, she could tell. He to, was a Zuden.
"Living here, I don't think the regular herds would want me scorching there lands." She puffed back, a crooked smile on her cunning maw. A hoof stamped, burning a small patch of grass. She turned her head to watch magma spew, waiting for his answer.

Aiden Son of the flame
From the way the smoke billowed out of the vix's nares, Aiden could see that she was, without a doubt, of pure Zunden blood. "No, I'm sure they wouldn't like that." he commented, his voice still slightly on edge. "But soon, enough they will have to learn to like it when the Zunden are once again, reigning the isle."
"Well vixen from what I can tell, you are of pure Zunden blood, and are more than worthy to make these lands your home, which in a way they already are." he said to her, glancing her over once more. he could tell that she would fit into the growing herd quite well. He glanced down as her hoof struck a patch of grass and scorched it. "One thing, try not to scorch all the grass. We do need food you know. You look mature, I'm sure you can control your powers quite well." he said. Aiden didn't want the herd members running a muck and scorching their food.
"Now for introductions miss." he said with a slight bow. "I am Aiden the last Fire Lord." he said. "And what would your calling be?"

She gave that fiesty smile at his words, and turned to look at the land around her. She looked back at him and blinked, once, and smiled. "I don't know, ten years of land scorching.. Will be a hard habit to break." She said in a cocky voice, then mellowed out. "It's Ember. Ember's Ashes. But I to be called Ember and nothing else, or it won't be just grass I will have to scortch." She flicked her satin tail, that had ashes embedded into each hair. Her long forelock covered her right eye, and her mane towered past her shoulders. Her body was covered in a small, unnoticable coating of magma that blended into her charcoal hot coat.
Luckily it was spring, winter had lowered the power of searing heat, but they where getting it back. Ruling again, she suposed.

Aiden The Fire Lord
The vixen gave him a smile and glanced around the land before answering him. "Well if it doesn't break, there might not be enough food." he said, his tone lighter for once. He flicked his banner as she soke her calling, Ember's Ashes. She said that she liked to be called only Ember.
"Pleasure to meet you Ember." he said with a nod of his crown. "Let me ask you Ember, are you looking for a place to stay?" he asked her, hoping that she'd want to join the herd.

Ember looked dumbfounded at the stag. He seemed much to goody goody for "Fire" horse. Rolling her liquid fire eyes, she sighed. Yes, of course I plan on staying here. She said curtly, looking around. Lush place, isn't what It was like when I was a foal. She turned, still looking around, not really caring about this stag much. He had other mares to fuss around with.

Aiden The Fire Lord
Aiden just huffed as she made her curt reply. She must not be one for the 'nice' routine. he thought. His auds flicked as she spoke about being here as a foal. This raised a few questions in his mind. He didn't know any horse had been here for well over a century. When the herd's fell, none returned to their lands, leaving them for others to enjoy.
"Well then, I guess you are welcomed to the herd." he said with no emotion. "Well, guess I'll be off." With that he turned and began to walk off. If she had no interest in anything but the land, then so be it.

Her dark auds perked, and she laughed inside. It alway's shocked equines, never thinking a horse could be so rude. Her dark pillers took a step. "Leaving so soon?" She asked, a smirk on her face. "Surely you don't to wander this place all alone. I'll be your bodygaurd, sir." She said, and trod after him. By his side, she smiled. Deciding to cahnge the subject, she looked away. "So, I bet it's great having the mares crawl all over you, eh?" She said, keeping he distance from the stag.

Aiden The Fire Lord
Aiden looked back as he heard her footfalls. He rolled his orbs and slightly turned his crown as she started to speak. "Yes, it is rather nice not to have them all over me. In fact, I don't mind it at all." One could say that Aiden was a fighter and not a lover. Bu then there was Romance, the annoying little git that had amted with him when his mind had been tampered with.
Aiden kept on walking, not really speaking. He only conversed with another if they asked him something, or if they started the conversation.

She smiled. "So, I guess your more of a solitary stag?" She smiled wider, and sighed. She was getting tired of small talk and was more intreasted in bending fire and eating then she was conversing and getting to know the pety mares in her herd, but she remained focused.

Aiden The Fire Lord
Aiden glanced to her as she spoke. "I guess you could say that." he flicked his sooty banner and continued on. It wasn't that he didn't want company, it was just that he didn't like it when mares clung to him. Thats why he liked to be around other stags. This mare wasn't bad at all. She wasn't ogling at him and she was keeping a respectable distance from him. He respected her for that. She was one of the only mares in his herd that he actually respected now.

The crimson mare gave a sigh, her maw urging for something to munch on to keep herself from blwoing fire out in boredom. "I hear talk you have a foal on the way." She said, as she munched on the lush grass she had picked up. She really didn't see how carring a foal could excite a mare. Sure, sex sounded fun...but carring a foal? No way. Ember would never be intreasted in that.

Aiden The Fire Lord
Aiden head whipped around as she said something about him having a foal on the way. "Unfortunatly." he said, it was the truth too. Romance, the little wench, had tricked him into breeding with her when his mind had been tampered with. He hoped that when the foal was born, Romance would suffer giving birth to it. How he wanted to see her punished for her deed.

So...you just bred, for the good of it? I knew it! All stag's are the same! She scowled, her eyes narrowed. Her tail dangerously flicked, and she was close to scortching him. She figured he bred to the mare just for his own pleasure, not knowing his mind was tampered with. She scortched a bit of land and let the flame sit, before taking it in to maintain her energy.
