Aiden snorted a laugh at her response. "You really think that?" he asked her. She must not have heard what really happened. How wrong she was. Aiden then began to wonder who could be telling the other equines these thing. He figured Romance, the filly, had to prance around proclaiming that she and him were to have a foal.
"You mustn't have heard the whole story then dear Ember." he said. "I am not that kind of stag." he xaid with a bob of his head. He used to be in his much younger years when he was a rowdy two and three years old colt. A naive colt, which he wasn't any more.
"I beilive you have been misinformed then." Aiden flicked his sooty banner in a rather agitated manner. "I was tricked into breeding with the little wench." He looked to Ember, thinking that she probably still thought the same of him. He would have to have a little chat with Romance later.
"I bet you're thinking 'what a story' or along the lines of 'yeah right'." Aiden stated as they continued to walk along. "Well I shall tell you what really happened and hopefully you'll change your mind." Aiden sighed out. His anger was now even more towards Romance.
"All started when the little whore, Romance, wandered out of the herd grounds. I had to go and find her, since she has no control of her powers, or temper." he began. Yes he knew they were to overtake the island, but he didn't want fillies who couldn't control their powers giving it away that the Zunden were growing in numbers once again. "So I went to go look for her. When I found her, she was in the breeding grounds being threatened by a stag from the Time Herd. Se was scared and wouldn't use her powers on him. I'm not sure why, but she didn't. By the time I got there the stag, who I'll just call Timey, was trying to force breed with her. So I used my powers on the Timey a set him aflame. He ran around trying to put himself out." Aiden paused and drew in a breath. "Before Timey ran off, he used one of his powers on me. The horses of the Time Herd can mess with your mind. Control it, if you will. They can get inside you head and read your thoughts, dreams and memories and use them against you. What he did to me was basically screw with my mind. I was in a trance and didn't even know it until a day later when it wore off and I had no memory of what happened." he shook his crown and sighed. "So after Timey left, I was alone with Romance. I had no clue who I was, where I was or basically anything. Appearantly the little bitch took advantage of my mental instability and tricked me into breeding with her. If she wasn't one of our kind, she'd be dead."
