3d3732 SPEECH The feeling that winter was coming to a close was heavy on the air, but the cold weather was still completely insufferable. The wind still howled a threat of another huge pile of snow being dumped onto the island, just before spring. But the only sign of hope for the never ending sheets of white disappearing was the birds that seemed to return from where ever in the world that they went, which she supposed was a good sign. Still, she couldn't help but feel pessimistic, and think that this weather would never end. For all she knew, the Hielo could have taken over and completely destroyed the weather patterns.
Wandering alone in the lands of Terra Scure was somewhat a better idea for a lone horse like her, since the thick trees blocked a lot of the wind that rolled through and sheltered from the worst of the snow. One of the issue was that this land hosted a number of notoriously bad tempered horses, and she often had to watch her step, and be sure to avoid where ever else that horse may be located at. She didn't like social interaction with other mares, and feared even speaking to a stallion. Her experiences in watching her father, Spyder, abuse her mother Ashia, and all the stories of how dreadfully awful the opposite gender could be to a mare, had completely frightened her off from the male gender. She didn't want to end up like her mother, completely insane from how she was treated in the past. But as it happens, Roulette managed to meet a pair of brothers who made her question the theory that all stallions were bad. They were very kind to her, especially the one - Ares.
Ares showed a vast amount of concern for her, which no one had ever done before, not even her own mother. She was taken aback by this approach at first, thinking maybe that it was some ploy to get her to drop her guard. As it turned out, his care for her was genuine, and her feelings for him were the best she had ever felt about anyone by the time they had departed from each other. She smiled to herself without realizing it, and quickly wiped it from her face, though there was no one around. Besides, she should be more steadfast against the alarming feelings she was beginning to feel- she needed to be more cautious. After all, how many other mares had the stallion provided devoted concern and protection for? She snorted softly at the thought, shifting her hooves in her position under the shelter of the spruce tree. Really. She was over thinking things, but she supposed she owed that to the lack of social interaction. Comes with the territory.

The blister wind of the fighting death of winter would sink in and chill the bones of any normal being that walked the grounds of Isola Dei Dei. The raven hued stallion would be part of that, if his head was screwed in just right. But the insane beast could barely pass as even mentally sane enough to be able to live in life without harm towards other. His ears twitched in every which way the could in the mix sounds of gust, annoying songs of birds carried about with it. This was a dark place, yet the pretty octaves of fowl even went on here, with no escape. The stallion snorted in annoyance and disgust. It was more than enough to make him want, not like he didn't on his own, to rip the throat out of everything, even the newly arrived Animus. There wasn't a soul in his body, as far as anyone could tell, truly just a reanimated bag of bones and flesh.
The Terra Scure were lands he often hunted in. So many had a false sense of security in such a dark, densely forested area, one tends to forget what danger could lurk in such places with it's protection from the worse winter had to offer. He's hunted other places, and most generally lived in the Cerchi Di Avversione, but few entered it's boarders and he had to answer to his endless bloodseeking.
It wasn't long before his shaped ears caught the sounds of quieted footfalls, snapping his chain wrapped skull towards, followed with setting off into a sprint in they direction. Insanity only slowed when near by, catching a view of the familiar frame of a fragile mare he'd not easily forget. The only being he hasn't managed to kill yet, and he didn't want to, though the though of putting his far share of 'affection' hadn't passed him. The brute stepped out towards her, a small smirk playing at his mouth. "There's my little bird." He chirped in a sickenly normal tone for his true nature. "I've missed you..." He said, continuing to approach her, regardless of any reaction she may have towards him.
