The Lord: The king is the most respected member of the herd. He's in charge and must be obeyed. He can leave the land when ever he wants.
The Lady: The queen is the king's mate and second most respected member of the herd. She may leave the land when ever she wants. She is in charge of watching over all the mares and foals of the herd.
Their Heir: The king and queen's heir is a highly respected member of the herd. The heir has no special jobs other than assisting his/her parents. The heir cannot leave the land without permission until he/she is 3 years old.
The Duke: The duke is well respected. He is in charge when the king is away, and is the king's advisor and friend. He can leave the land when ever he wants.
The Duchess: The duchess is the duke's mate and is a well respected member of the herd. She helps the queen and takes over the queen's duties in her absence. She cannot leave the land without permission from the king or queen, except for in the winter time.
Their Heir: The duke and duchess's heir is fairly respected. He/she has no duties and must have permission from the king or queen to leave the land except in the winter. He/she cannot leave the land until he/she is 3 years old.
Warriors: Warriors are respected. They are always stallions and fight for their herd. A colt cannot be a warrior until he is 3 years old. Warriors cannot leave the land without permission except in the winter.
Dames: Dames are respected. They are the mares of the herd and usually have no special duties. Some of them fight with the warriors, some of them are babysitters but most are mothers. They cannot leave the land without permission except in the winter time.
Foals: The foals are under 3 years old and must stay in the land.
