History:

Ash and his twin sister were born on a cool march morning to a dying mother. Not only was her body failing her, but also her mind. The mare had succumbed to the demons in her mind year ago, causing her to become a power hungry, completely psychotic individual. Despite her mental flaws, she loved the newest additions into her world.

Growing up with a mother like that was interesting to say the least. Ash and his sister were taught from day one that the were special, different from all the other horses on the island; better. They were part of an elite race that had been blessed by the heavens and had only been placed on this earth to purge the world of darkness and sin and lead others down a path of righteousness and light. The twins were taught to harness their unique abilities and how to use to use them to their advantage, to pursue 'their' mission in life. This, of course, was completely misconstrued by their mother and twisted into a game of power. Both Ash and his sister were told that any other breed, mortal or elemental, was beneath them. They were the superior beings on this island based on the sole fact that they were of a 'divine nature' as their mother had put it. Because of this fact instilled in their young minds, Ash refused to actually become friends with any other horse beside his sister, making them an inseparable pair.

Ash's life was mostly lived in seclusion. He made it his mission to go around the island he called home and purify those who sin had wrapped its vile tendrils around and dragged deeper and deeper into the darkness. He saved many innocent horses in his day, but also caused many innocents to lose their lives . When the Anima started showing up more and more frequently, stealing souls left and right, his god-like powers went right to his head, making him a hero in the eyes of many when, in actuality, he was a far cry from just that.

For the past couple years the Anima quickly reproduced and started wreaking havoc all over Isola Dei Dei, leaving evidence of their destruction behind. Now it is time to oust them. Ash and his sister have taken it upon themselves to eliminate these wastes of flesh and any other impurities in their wake.

Personality:

At first glance, Ash is a calm and collected individual. He always puts on a pleasant face when dealing with others and is liked by most other horses. He is easy to converse with and will gladly finish out a conversation with someone, even if he is not fond of them. Despite his projected outward personality, Ash believes that he is superior to all others he meets. He is often frustrated by mortals and elementals, finding them to be very foolish beings who fall victim to the stupidest and strangest of things. This can cause him to be arrogant in a very passive manner, making any cockiness as subtle as possible; it is completely lost on most other horses.

Ash has literally become insane with power, following right in his dear mother's hoofprints. Ash also has a love for battle. It is just not a normal like or strange blood-lust, but something he enjoys so much that he can become maniacal about it. When fighting he has to be the centre of attention and will become angry if that is not the case.

Because he sees himself, and his breed, as superior, the only ones he is loayal to is other Cielo and his sister. He holds himself and his twin in a high er regard than he does the rest of his brred. Ever since he was small, Ash and his sister have been inseparable. As they grew up they would part their ways to fulfill their duty, but would always return to one another at the end of it all. She is the only other horse (beside himself) that he would do anything for. Their bond is so close that they had almost crossed the line in the eyes of other horses. To most, the would seem like a pair of impassioned lovers rather than brother and sister. There have been rumours from those of their kind that they are involved in an incestual relationship, but that had neither been proven nor has it been denied.
