3d3732 SPEECH Finally, it was time for the bird to leave it's mother's nest. Not that her mother spared her too much a thought, anyway. But her mother cared for her as much as her evil heart could manage, so she had to appreciate the effort. She and her mother were on good terms, and that's all she could ever ask of her. Her psychopathic father had done a number on her poor mother, Ashia, and though she wasn't excluding her from being mentally ill, it was too much for one horse to take. Thankfully, her father had never laid a finger on her, because his focus was always on her mother. He had a strange obsession with her, and she always shivered at the though to of something similar happening to her. Her mother beat the thought into her head for her to watch her back, and never trust anyone, ever. She was glad to be finally leaving, she couldn't stand another one of her parent's vicious fights. She was very determined to find her own way, instead of living the broken life she was.
Terra Scure seemed like a good place to start. Even though it was filled with shady characters, she was sure she could care for herself out here, and the horses she had passed up didn't seemed to want to pay her any mind anyways. She probably could have a decent life here, establish herself as a hard-ass bitch to keep other horses clear. Perfect. The forest was eerily silent, except for the occasional cries of a few ravens and crows. She actually liked it, as opposed to the annoying chirping of the stupid little birds that occupied the rest of the island. Wandering over to a small creek that flowed through a cluster of trees, she lowered her muzzle down to get a drink. A bright pair of orange eyes glowed back at her as she stared at her reflection, a pair she inherited from her sire. She sighed as she raised her head, water dripping off of her maw.

His teeth was dug into the into unrecognizable mangle mass of who knows what kind of creature. He shook it violently, causing it to become even more twisted and mangled, before the piece he held ripped in his mouth and the body of the mass flung harshly a distance before smacking a tree. The raven colored stallion tilted his head and laughed before chewed at the piece in his mouth, blood draining from wear his lips didn't seal at. After loitering around, dropped what was left of the hunk of meat, and moved one, bored.
He often wondered here than staying to his home, as for his home no one entered if they planned on living. The lands he stayed at were cursed, haunted as much as he was. Perhaps that was why he entered the lands and left without much notice. He stalked through the grounds now, itching for something to kill, mouth chewing quietly at empty space that was normally filled flesh. He licked at his stained lips, the vivid red fading to the surprisingly bone white markings of his maw. He kept on moving, till he saw some movement through the trees, his head snapping to see what moved. He eyed through the trees, looking through tangled branches to find the dun coloring of a horse. Predatory instincts fell into place as he made way through the thicket towards the being with an urge to kill, but something about the horse, the fea, turned his need to kill into something more sane, but nothing was truly sane about Insanity."Hello, dear." came the unstrained voice of the stallion, something of it coming out so calm that anyone who knew him would be sicked at the knowledge of how dangers and mad he was mentally. Conversation to him was quite questionable, since the stallion barely spoken a word in his life.

3d3732 SPEECH A twig snapping drew the young mare's attention elsewhere from her rippling reflection in the water. She peered around the treeline with eyes slightly narrowed, expression full of irritation, wondering who wanted to strike up a problem with her already. She was frail, and she knew it, but that didn't mean she wouldn't try to hold up her own in a fight. She was extremely premature when she was born, and she knew that she would always be on the poorer end of health. But she was alive and breathing, and everything appeared to be functioning, so she was fine with that. Her eyes rested on a massive stallion that had appeared through the trees, and he was quite a sight to see. His pelt was a vibrant purple, and chains were wrapped around his face. And...was that blood on his mouth?
Roulette eyed the stallion carefully, twisting her body around so that she was facing him more properly, her ears flicking nervously on her head. Her nostrils flared as the smell reached her nose, and she wrinkled her muzzle slightly. She'd hate to be the poor unfortunate soul that was on the wrong end of his maw; he looked like he could be a nasty fighter. "Uh.. hi," she answered unsurely, taking a step back away from him. Something about this guy screamed trouble, and she didn't want to stick around to figure out why he gave her the heebe jeebes.

[atrb=border,1,true][atrb=width,394,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=#00022c] The brutish stallion stood stiffly for a moment, staring with the look that said everything about him, insane, haunted, blood thirsty, loathing, envious, wanting. Several things that explain him and his neurotic ways. The stag tilted his head as she spoke, sensing the unsureness in her voice. He gave a smile that the mad horse knew to give to her. He snorted as the insane creature stepped towards her as he saw her stepped away. His chained head leveled to her neck, his nose at where the mane laid at. Insanity glanced upward as he heard the sound of flapping wings above him, not a common sound in these dark woods. He suddenly turned, snapping upward at the large black bird, snatching it's wing, bringing it too the ground, stomping the other wing down of the bird and reached down to it, snapping it's neck quickly, the movements of it seemed to be simplified to something that was one.
He lifted the now dead creature from himself, tearing the feathers from it's now limp wing. He turned dropping the thing at the mare's feet before hovering around her neck once more, wanting to press closer to the frail thing. Such a sickly creature would have been killed slowly by him on sight, they didn't deserve to live obviously from their condition of health, but something allowed his mind from taking to her little throat, choking her to weak to even bother fighting back as he would slowly rip them apart. "Little bird have a name?" He asked, glancing to the mare's face. Such a frail creature, but there was something dark, something of worth in her to him. The mad horse could tell. The stag thought she may be worth sparing, cling closely to.

3d3732 SPEECH Roulette's eyes widened slightly, though she tried not to show outward fear to the stallion. Something in his eyes frightened her deeply, there wasn't something right with him, something insane. It made her want to turn and run, but she knew that might trigger the stallion into attacking her. So far he hadn't, but she didn't want to risk it. Her nostrils flared as he approached her and touched her neck, a white ring appearing around her orange irises as she turned her head slightly to look at him. A flutter of wings caught her attention, and to her horror, the stallion jumped up and snapped his teeth around a passing bird's wing. She stood stock-still as he tore the feathers from the thing and dropped it at her feet, and she stared at it with disgust and revulsion. He was like a cat, trying to please her with the catch of the day. She snorted as he stepped close to her again, and she eyed him warily, not liking him so close to her neck. She knew she would be dead with no problem in a fight, especially against a stallion of his size. Besides being killed by the stallion, she hoped he wouldn't try to rape her. The size difference would be painful, and his sheer size wouldn't be supported by her weak-structured bones. She hesitated as he asked her name, and wondered if he really was going to kill her, as he called her 'little bird', and just killed a bird right in front of her. "R-Roulette," she managed to say, before backing away from him with an uneasy snort. "I must be going, so um, nice meeting you?.. " She forced an awkward smile before springing away, narrowly avoiding stepping on the dead bird in her haste.
