A heavenly white bodice came out of the black forest to the small murky lake. The female looked out of place in the black, evil land at first glance, but you would soon realize she was right at home when you took a closer look at her pure black eyes. She seemed vunerable, unable to hide in this landscape, but stallions would pause to rethink their plan of fucking her up once they saw her fangs dripping of venom. Black roughly marked suns wrapped around her legs. The suns were a a circle, not filled in with lines around it for the rays, that had their own purpose the female wasnt aware of. For Solara, today was a perfectly normal, unentertaining day. All the reapers today seemed to be off frolicking looking for new toys. What fun. While she was here because she was actually sane....Well, partly sane. She dipped down her head to the murky water, getting today's refreshement. It was always the same. Wake up, talk to the usual fucked up in the head horse, go hide somewhere, roam aimlessly, get some water, roam aimlessly around, rinse and repeat. How fun. All the other horses on this island were prancing around, getting fucked up, crumbling down, dying, the usual. Solara had grown to hate and love life. It was something she couldn't reach, something she couldn't experience, something that she had to deal with until her pitiful life ended by some stallion with a whole army. It was hard to be killed when you can kill someone with a look or touch. Ah, life.

Golden-amber oculi appeared to materialize in the dense brush, their cat-like pupils widening a bit as they adjusted to the muggy light. The remainder of the stag's form appeared only a few moments after, revealing a blank expression upon his mug. His ebony pelt was virtually invisible in the coverage of the smoke-washed wood, the twin pools that rested in the sockets of his skull - which were peering about in search of any other creatures - were the only things that could've given his position away to any prey. Suddenly, his optics grasped a image that suddenly emerged from the woods across the large pool before him. The brute's audits pricked forward to catch any sounds the creature made, his orbs observed it closely.
Suddenly, the dark steed had disappeared into the shadows; where was he off to now? He reappeared right next to the equine, his face continuing to lack expression so the fea wouldn't get any ideas as to wanting to gain her friendship. "A white Reaper. How... interesting..." he muttered, his voice trailing off into the soft wind. "By the way, I am called Claude."

Solara paused in her thinking to tilt her bright white ears in the stallions direction. Not even looking at him she went through what she was dealing with. Not a fucked up horse. One of the emotionless. Not a friendship kind of horse. Perfect. She looked up from the water to the horse. He can disappear, she didn't see him creep up on her. interesting, huh? All the prancing Reapers were dark colored, and here she was as white as can be. Seriously? Was it that rare? Wow. "Interesting, huh? You could say that or you can say not all the prancing little Reapers have to be dark colored." She commented, "Solara." You couldn't tell if her deep black abyss was glaring at you, all you say was it staring at you. Many drama filled horses would say she was staring into their soul. They scanned the stallion, seeing what his ending would be, but she didn't know enough about him. Solara turned back down to the water, lapping it once more. Water dripped down her massive fangs as she rose back up, ready to speak once more. "I assume you have a lot to say, so might as well get on with it before you waste more of my time." It was always the same.

Claude raised an eyebrow at the fea as she only pricked her audits in his direction as a greeting. How rude. That was an action only an immature creature would do. Sadly enough, most Reapers were like that - never courteous to those that dared to come in contact with them. What a pity. If the death equines ever made an effort as to working together, they could easily take rule over the island - though in Claude's eyes that was all pointless efforts. The ebony stag simply stood there silently, his facial features still not showing any expression. "I never said all the death horses had to be of dark pelting. I simply said your coat was interesting." he replied, looking down at the fea as she peered up at him. Claude's golden optics shined a bit brighter momentarily just before the femme - who was apparently named Solaria - dipped her dial down once again to take in the crystalline liquid before her. The brute was not intimidated by her seemingly emotionless pieces of charcoal. In fact, he could care less about how Solaria looked at him. Finally, the vix brought her cranium back into view, water dripping down the fangs she had concealed until just now. Claude scoffed, his own sharpened ivories appearing momentarily as his lips parted. "Waste your time? Doing what? Drinking water for hours on end? Taking relaxing walks in the woods? Pathetic." he spat, turning back toward the forest and striding toward it.

Where the hell was he? Alois had spent more than half the day keeping himself entertained. That in itself was a rare occurrence and was something that would surprise any horse who knew the colt. Now he had grown ultimately bored and decided that it would be a good time to go find Claude. After all, the dark stallion would only have to assume that he would have to keep Alois entertained. He was the one who had brought the colt here with him. Of course he could not leave him at their previous location. Alois would never let something like that happen. Whether or not Claude wanted him here, Alois did not care. It was too late. Claude was stuck with the palomino.
For a secluded land such as this, Alois had expected to run into some of Claude's kind. Fortunately for him he had not. He was not worried about being in a land with horses who only existed because of death and torment as any other horse would be. He was far too arrogant to let them get the best of him. If only he knew how some of them could get. When the actual event of meeting another Reaper without Claude next to him arose, he might show a little fear but knowing Claude was nearby was the only thing he needed to completely dismiss any little fear. The stallion would never let anything happen to him.
The colt's ears perked as a familiar scent reached his flaring nostrils. Claude. He was close. It did not take much for the lithe creature to pick his way through the forest and set his icy eyes on the familiar frame of his constant companion. A cheeky smile spread across his maw as he lifted his head, arching his neck while picking up a slow jog. Just as he opened his mouth to say something to the Reaper, he caught sight of another horse who was standing close to Claude. Close enough to make the smile fall from his face and the animated gait he displayed falter.
With a swish of his blonde tail, Alois stalked up to the pair, coming up next to Claude without any sense of personal space. The effeminate colt rubbed along the side of the ebony Reaper like he was a cat winding its way around the legs of its owner. His hooves were placed one in front of the other, giving him a sway to his body that could be compared to that of a model strutting down the catwalk. Those aqua optics settled on the mare with a scrutinizing look. "And just who the fuck are you?" he asked, looking her up and down as if she was something to compare himself to. (Which he obviously he compared her to him and not the other way around.)

Solara gazed to the clear blue sky as she listened to Claude. Well, bye then. She was happy he was leaving. She was just about to turn to return to the woods when a voice pounded against her ears. She froze before slowly turning her head in their direction. A smart mouthed colt, hm? So Cluade had a pet. She seemed to stare blankly at the colt's movements, grinning. Well, this was pathetic. She bowed her head so she was even with the colt. "Solara." She breathed, her black pits seemed to look through him. She straightened up, and flicked her tail towards Claude, still staring down at the colt. "You didn't tell me you had a pet. Or is it the other way around?" She uttered, smirking. "So what's your name?" Baring her fangs as she said it. Oh, it was fun to play with horse's minds. The little idiot was lucky she didn't put her hoof on his delicate little palimino head. She stomped her hoof as if she was still thinking about it.The only reason Solara didn't was it was finally something new. Something, interesting.

Claude stopped dead in his tracks, the smallest cloud of dust was stirred around his talons as they suddenly dug up a small bit of the surrounding earth. A golden orb darting back to see his young master walking toward him. The Reaper calmly stood still as the colt's body rubbed up against his own, remaining completely silent. Claude lowered his cranium so his maw was just at the colt's ear, "Hello there, your Highness." he cooed, just quietly enough so Solara wouldn't hear. The stag turned back around toward the femme, his face free from emotions as usual. "I assumed you were one of those horses that tended to their own business, so I never bothered to tell you. And besides, he is not my pet, nor am I his." he replied, carefully watching the ivory feminique's movements. Claude's golden eyes narrowed when Solara struck the terra with her hoof as if she were trying to scare the palomino colt off. As if it would. Alois was far too arrogant to be intimidated by such a vile creature as the mare. Yes, the ebony Reaper would always be there to protect his life, but sometimes Claude felt that the palomino took advantage of that.
Claude stood there silently as he waited for one of the horses to respond to him. Though he doubted it would happen, the Reaper hoped that Alois wouldn't choose to argue with the fea. Claude did not have time to clean up after Alois if he said the wrong things to the mare, especially if Claude had to kill her for threatening to injure his master.

A smirk crossed Alois' face as the large stallion lowered his head to whisper a greeting in the colt's ear. That smooth tenor was music to his ears. Half the time he wondered if Claude made a point to be so damn seductive all the time or if it was just something that came natural to the Reaper. He could be quite an emotionless prick at times, but that did not mean Alois did not enjoy moments like this when he decided to get his head out of his ass an make some sort of effort.
The ivory mare introduced herself as Solara. It seemed to fit her. It reminded Alois of the name someone would bestow upon a being who was a pure creature. White, being the colour of purity, was what he would have expected any horse with such a name to be. His next question was whether or not this mare was a Reaper like Claude. Alois had only ever come across one other Reaper and he had been just as dark as Claude. It only made sense that this odd fae was of Reaper blood seeing as another breed would never willingly wander through this land without good reason.
"Maybe the reason he didn't tell you is because he doesn't have a pet. Sort of like the reason I didn't ask him who you were because I knew Claude doesn't have a whore. How can he talk about something that isn't his?" he snidely commented. Alois was just about to open his mouth to say more when Claude offered his own answer. The colt wanted to glare at the stallion for interjecting, but hearing Claude talk was both a rare and aurally pleasing occurrence.
He stared blankly at the mare as she bared her teeth as if it should be something that would scare him off. She would have to do a hell of a lot more. A year or so ago it would have scared him a bit. Perhaps even made him worm his way out of the situation. Not anymore. Especially with the addition of Claude at his side. "Alois." he answered.

So the colt had some guts. Interesting. "I am one to take to their own business actually, but this has taken my....Interest." She commented, replying to Claude first. "Ah, I see. I suppose every mare is a whore." Solara sighed sarcastically. Of course she didn't believe them, something was going on between the two. She tilted her head up to the sky as she listened to his reply. Alois. Hmm such a interesting name, but names did not always tell the story. "Alois." She tested as if she hadn't heard it said before. "Well Alois, tell me, who is Claude to you then? Father? Hmm, I think not. Perhaps something....More interesting." She mused, tilting her head in the other direction. Solara obsessed over new things because usually things always ended the same. If something seemed interesting or new to her she had to find out what so she could add it to her list of normal things. She can't help herself, being immortal is extremely bland. Claude seemed to be bodyguard, the protector to the frail Alois. Knowing nothing could happen to him, he had a lot of confidence for a colt. Yet why was Claude the bodyguard? Why was Alois so protective over the stallion? She was set on finding out, no matter what happened. Which meant playing with minds. How fun.

The obsidian brute stood silently as he observed the other two equines, his golden oculi drifting from his young master to the snow-colored fea. She was truly a waste of the ebony reaper's time. If Alois hadn't come to look for him, Claude could've easily been miles away from that vile piece of rubbish already. Claude would never fully understand why the colt even chose to argue with Solara. If the palomino would've just minded his own business, they wouldn't have had to be here in this pointless situation. For someone who wanted Claude all to himself, Alois wasn't exactly doing a very good job of accomplishing that.
The Reaper looked down into the fea's eyes, offering no emotion whatsoever. "Your interest is causing you to pry." he replied calmly, flicking his dark whipcord. Solara was so blind. She couldn't even see the way she acted. How disgusting. Claude didn't see why females existed, since they were always such pains to deal with. They never seemed to notice their own faults (which clearly enough, there were plenty of them) and they always blamed their issues on everyone except themselves.
Claude suppressed the need to scoff at the mare's next words. Father? Did she really think he was the palomino's father? Pathetic. He expected a much higher intelligence level from a Reaper. By then, the feminique had already asked too much for Claude's tolerance. "We should be going now." he said, slightly tugging on Alois' mane with his lips and turning the opposite direction from Solara.

"No, not all mares." Alois casually said, not bothering to comment any more on the subject. The colt did not have many issues with females of his species. For the most part he did not fancy them, therefore he did not bother. They were just fine and dandy he supposed. Alois only had problems with mares who looked like they took some sort of interest in, well, his interest. He did not like other horses touching his things. Besdies, any mare who looked like this one just had to engage in carnally frivolous activities with stallion who were more than easy on the eyes.
Solara then continued with her interrogation, asking Alois who exactly Claude was to him. Out of any horse Alois had come across, this one just seemed to have a never ending list of questions. Questions that were mainly about him. He supposed it was because of her breed. She probably wanted to see if Claude had already laid claim to his soul. He really did not blame her, everyone had to survive. It was just strange. Unless, that is, she really did not care about him and was only after the dark stallion by his side.
Before Alois could formulate a response, Claude's smooth voice broke into the conversation. A small frown appeared on the colt's muzzle when Claude told him that they should get going. His gaze shifted sideways when he mane was tugged before Claude turned his body to go the other way. Interesting. He knew Claude not to be very fond of other horses, even his own breed, but why did he want so far away from this mare? "No." Alois simply said, loud enough so it would reach the retreating stallion. "As if you have anything better to do or a better place to go Claude." he added with a roll of his eyes.
His attention was quickly back on Solara. Claude might be good enough company, but there were times when Alois felt like getting in some kind of argument with a horse who was actually bothered by him. The palomino could argue with Claude all day long and the stallion would remain as stoic as ever. It was annoying. "Claude? My father? You have got to be kidding me." Alois commented with a snort of laughter. "He's nothing like my father." he all but hissed. "But, if Claude wants, I can call him 'Daddy'." Alois playfully finished, looking out of the corner of his eye for the black stag's reaction. If he had even stuck around that is.

Solara grinned as the two talked. Excellent. When Alois finished, she tilted her head from side to side. "Well, Alois. You seem to be in complete control of a stallion that could crush you into a pulp." She smiled as if it was a big joke. "Why though? So many questions hm? I'm sorry I can't help it." She truly couldn't. Her two obsessions were rather strange. One was playing with minds, and the other her interest in all things unatural. She had a never ending list of questions, and she seemed to freak horses out or annoy everyone. How sad. Horses always seemed to have what she couldn't have. For most it would drive them to insanity, but Solara was stronger, yet no one could avoid it forever.
