The walk back to Phantom's land did not take as long as she originally anticipated. Perhaps it was because she actually seemed eager to return home for once. Bringing a new horse with her was always something exciting. It signaled the growth of the herd. She refused to call it 'her' herd. She might say it to others to avoid confusion, but it would always be Fiana and Char's. She did not feel right about leading a land that was supposed to stay in that family.
Sadly, that family was gone. Fiana, dead. Torchwood, dead. Char, missing. Phantom could only assume that she too was dead. Of course the little filly had always had quite the spirit. Perhaps she was alive. Char could be naive at times, but in the end, she always seemed to pull through . Phantom just wished that the young mare was still here, ready to take the resonisbility it required to lead an entire herd.
"Welcome to Terra de Rocas." Phantom said, turning her head to Tonderoga. "We used to be one of the largest herds on the island. Sadly the Zunden attacked us and we lost almost everyone, including our old leaders. Which is the reason I took over. Though we are no longer one of the largest, we are quickly regaining our numbers. One day soon we shall be as powerful as we once were." Phantom said, forgetting that he had no clue who the Zunden were or anything thata horse who lived here was just expected to know.

Tonderoga followed Phantom, looking around. The place seemed to be a waste land. But if a large herd could live here happily it clealry wasnt. He nodded at Phantom's words. Tonderoga wondered where the other herd memebers were, but he'd meet them eventually. Right now he was happy just to have the stability of a home and the comfort of some company. He looked around at the scrub brush and dry dirt. The place really didnt seem like much.. but again Tonderoga reminded himself of the numbers that could be welcomed here. He liked it. It didnt seem like much but it clearly was.

"I'm sorry." she aplogized, realizing that he had no clue what in the world she was talking about. He was new to this island. The Zunden and everything else was a foreign concept to him. "The Zunden are a group, a herd, of horses not far from this land who think that they own this whole island. Their plan is to oust any horse who is not of pure Zunden lineage. They think they are the master race here. Everyone else is just the scum of the earth. We have been struggling with them for years ever since they regrouped." Phantom explained.
"There is one thing you should know about this island Tonderoga. I too came from the land of humans just as you have. As you've already noticed its a lot different here than what you're probably used to, yes? Well there are secrets this island holds that no one else does. The rest of the world is blind to what truly lives on this island. There are horses here, the Zunden are part of them, who have powers beyond imagination. I know this sounds crazy, for I thought so when I was first told of them, but it is the horrific truth. These horses have the power to control the natural elements and use them to their liking."
"Now there are many who want to do this for good and just as many who want to use what they have for evil. The Zunden are the fire herd. Years and years ago they were the largest herd on the island, having a tyrannical rule over everyone else. After they were brought down from power, they went missing for half a century. Now they are back. Though they are few in number, their power is great. I advise you to stay away from any horse who may seem to be Zunden. One thing that distinguishes these elemental horses from us is the unnatural colours and markings on their coats. I figured I should warn you of this first hand since many newcomers seem to be blind to this fact."
