Name: Canicus
Meaning: Born of fire
Breed: Native X friesian
Gender: Male
Age: 3 years
Height: 17 HH
Coat Colour: Black
Mane Colour: Black grey and red
Tail Colour: Black grey and red
Eye Colour: Smoky grey with a hint of red
Markings: Swirls all over his body. They seem to have no meaning but it can be mesmerizing to look at. They show brightly against his dark coat.

Alliance: Dark (might eventually turn towards light)
History: Canicus was raised around dark hearted equines and that is what he grew to know. The only one who tried to show him the light was his mother who was a light while his father was a dark/fire. He inherited the darkness and fire from his father and not much from his loving mother. His father never seemed to acknowledge that he even had a son and it affected him. His mother showed him that even though he lived in such a dark place doesn't mean that he had to be dark hearted. After she died his father forced him to fight and eventually almost drove his son insane. The only thing that stopped Canicus from going insane was what his mother taught him so long ago. After a few years of this he challenged his father to a fight. His father accepted and ended up being defeated by his own son. Before he died though he said to his son 'I am proud of what you have become.' he then passed and left his son standing there stunned. After that he decided to search for his own place to go. He hopes to find his better half one of these days. A female that could show him the light again would be perfect, he just doesn't realize it.
Personality: Canicus is very dark and foreboding. He is a dark soul wandering these lands. The only thing that is keeping him semi sane is what his mother taught him long ago. He is very intelligent but also very careless. He will challenge any stallion and, due to what his father put him through, he will almost always win. There are whispers of him being soulless running through the herds and at times it is true. Most of the time he is just a dark fiery shadow walking in this world. Every once in a while you can see the light in his eyes, the very same light that came from his loving mother. He hates staying in one place for too long so he travels around a lot looking for the right mare to call his. He will put his life on the line for a select few otherwise he is just looking for a fight.
