History: Pride was born in a arabian racing stable. He was an experiment. The owners wanted to see if the longer legs would make the horses faster. Well, it didnt. Pride was a small- framed colt with huge hooves and large bones. He eventually grew into his hooves, though. He was raced and raced, but his large frame hindered him. Sure, his longer legs ate up the distance, but his endurance was gone, replaced by the percheron strength. So, Pride was turned out to pasture. His owners tried to breed him, but no one wanted a half-breed to sire their pure arabian's foals. His wonser despised him, and Pride knew it. He couldnt stand the hateful looks they gave him as they led their purebred arabians out to the races. So, Pride jumped the paddock fence one night and ran. He has come to Isola Dei Dei.
Personality: Pride is gentlemanly and kind. His large stature often scares others off, but he is just a big old softie. He has sired a few foals. The mares wnated his kindness and stature passed on to their foals. But Pride had never led a herd and doesnt want to. He is content to follow along at his own pace. Pride is also funny. He has a great sense of humor. He doesnt make fun of others, though. His jokes usually poke fun at himself. Pride may not have ever joined a herd, but he has never been in a bachelor herd, either. They are too rowdy for his tastes. So he has been a loner most of the time. He is looking to join a herd now, though. He has had enough of life on the road.
