[/b] the colt trailed off before the words slurred and became nothing more than incoherent murmur. He was finally fell to his exhaustion, the skull of him resting on fore legs stretched in front of him. Night of horrors begin as the images of the haunting past came back to his mind. The colt was so use to this reoccurring dream that it no longer made him wake screaming of crying, yet it still irked him. Disturbed him very much. It was always the same. He relived the pain of humility, destruction, and chaos. Always the same faces, always the same horse trying to ruin him. He always escaped, he always found his way to his home, his family. Yet, there was difference in it all. His father was not racing along in the licking flames. No, not like he remembered it. His father was standing in the burning flames, unfazed, facing Ciel. The colt knew his it was his father staring back at him, though it was impossible to see the shaded face in that bright flames that you'd think would light the place so completely that there would be no shadows. Yet, something was so disturbing off of his father there. He was standing in flames, face hidden in the shadows, yet there was something off about him that Ciel can't see, even when he hears himself scream in the dream and fall, then to find himself awake, blinking, in a completely different place and in his living horror. Even with the reaper's tries to keep the colt getting healthy amounts of sleep, he still didn't receive it. It honestly was maddening that Sebastian attempts to keep the youth surviving with sleep when he was even so haunted in his sleep as his in his wake that he still never got what the caretaker so wanted him to have.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/color]Ciel tried his best to work for his revenge, as tasteless it was to some horses, it was everything to him. And the colt was well aware of the consequences of revenge. If he could attain it on his own, it would only left him empty inside without ambition to go on with life. He was quite aware of that, nor did it make him change his mind in the slightest. He knew once he get his vengeance, he's as good as dead. He honestly wouldn't have cared for himself anymore afterward than he does now. It was only the black demon near him that kept the colt from slipping to much further in the rut he has dug himself into. He surely would all sanity by now, if he had any now to begin with. Even in all his not all too well being for himself, Ciel tried to keep himself reasonably mannered, in a sense. He was proper about everything, even with the caretaker that was watching him in this half sleep-driven daze that the colt was in. He knew damn well acting out in a childish anger wasn't ever going to give him answers he seeks, so he was constantly formal towards others, unless drastic measures were very much needed. The youth listened to the demon's ever lulling voice as he told him of the land. Listening to the details, he presumed it was the land of reapers that Sebastian spoke of. Ciel didn't think that the demon would ever mention the place and have an actual thought of bringing the colt with him. But these were rather dangerous times on island in it's current estate of chaos with the imbalance of powers. The reaper must think it safer to drag the colt to the some of the dangerous land with him than depend that the colt would go nosing around and find himself in trouble. Yet, it would be more efficient if the two did try to operate at two different places at the same time. It could actually provide results. But rather the demon was willing to deal with it was another thing. The reaper knew the dangers of both his and this world. Still Ciel thought over the possibility of that. Efficiency was quite precious to the colt. The sooner he'd get his revenge, the sooner he could move on without having to be in constant pain of the memories that haunt him every hour, wake or not. "Perhaps..."
