Jimmy had been alone for a year now. Roaming just as he had been when his first mate kicked him out of his herd. Desdemona, the mare that saved him, the mare that matched his sarcasm, wit, and insanity and stole what little heart he had left - she was gone. She had left him as swiftly as she had came into his life. She had sworn her love for him and she was gone. He made a point to burn all her memories inside his mind. But she still lingered. Sometimes, he thought he saw her, but it was just a foolish dream. So he knew now he had to forget her.
Maybe it wouldn't hurt so badly if it wasn't for the fact that the mare who carried his foal, Sorrows, had also disappeared. He didn't know for sure if she was even still alive, or if their offspring was alive and well. He wanted badly to set out and try and find them, but he knew it was hopeless. Traces of her where last seen the past summer. She was gone, just like Desdemona, and he just had to accept that.
If being raised by a mare who couldn't help herself, being kicked out of his own herd, if that hadn't all been enough - the absence of these two mares stole what little feeling he had left. Now he was doomed to roam the isle wishing for something to happen, some kind of trace of hope seemingly all lost in time.

Small plumes escaped from the fea's nares as they steadily expanded and shrunk to take in the nourishment from the cool, winter air around her. Guinevere was particularly pissed off today, since her own sister, the queen Noelani herself, had banished her from Annaffiare Il Refugio for merely questioning her authority. It wasn't fair that Lani got whatever she wished, but oh fucking well. She didn't need her sister or any of the other idiotic equines that lived with her. Gwen swished her long, full tail in annoyance, her hears twitching about in an effort to pick up any unusual sounds. The femme slowly ran her tongue over the edges of her lips in thought, taking a few steps forward as she allowed it to settle in her maw once more. She proceeded on, trying to shove the harsh words of her kin as she carefully placed her foot-falls.
A sigh escaped from Gwen's lips as she continued forward. The memories plagued her mind, making it almost impossible to have any peace. She was in the middle of an attempt to twist the story so it wasn't he fault, when a figure was detected by her ghostly blue ocules. The fea paused, raising an eyebrow as she took in the equine with further detail. His pelt was the deepest of ebonies, along with the occasional splashes of white that were just enough to complement his looks. There was a certain look on his face- sorrow, boredom, or even depression if you would like to put it in a single word. He was a bit hard to exactly read, and this intrigued dear Guinevere. The Nyfrio feminique slowly stepped toward him, staying cautious of any threats. 'Hello there!' she called softly, making sure to keep a friendly expression on her face, 'Not to pry or anything, but why are out here all alone?' she inquired, slightly tilting her head to the side in question.
