Weston College. One of Britain's finest public education establishments established near the Thames. Each building on campus, including a chapel, are all a perfect reflection of Gothic architecture. The students who attend Weston College are under strict discipline that values tradition above all and are raised to be the new gentlemen of England through a boys-only dorm life and their individual high-level curriculum. The nobles send their sons to the school without regard for the extremely high fees, just to obtain that glimmering status.
Just as with any prestigious boarding school, each house dormitory has a prefect. Weston College is home of four distinct dormitories. Each of the houses at Weston College have a select student, usually one of the seventh years, from each house serving as their dormitory leader. Lawrence Bluer is prefect of the Sapphire Owl dormitory where students who excel at academics gather. Edgar Redmond is leader of the Scarlet Fox dormitory where boys of exceptionally high birth go. Gregory Violet is prefect of the Violet Wolf dormitory where students who are accomplished in the arts gather. The last dormitory, Green Lion, houses students who excel in sports and the martial arts. Green Lion is headed by Herman Greenhill. These four house leaders are known by the rest of the student body as the 'P4'. They are at the top of the school hierarchy and are feared and respected by those under them.
The sole reason Ciel Phantomhive is attending Weston College is because the Queen asked him to. Being the Queen's guard dog, Ciel could only oblige to this request. Queen Victoria was worried about Derek, the son of her cousin, the Duke of Clemens. Derek is a fifth year student at Weston College, but for some unknown reason has not returned home since last summer holiday. He used to send daily letters, but those soon stopped coming. His mother even contacted the dormitory and he still will not come home. His parents thought it was just a rebellious stage, but more and more students are refusing to come home. What the perfect case for the young Earl Phantomhive.
Finding a spot for Ciel in Weston College proved to be quit difficult, but he was finally enrolled as a first year student. Sebastian, on the other hand, could obviously not enroll as a student. Being left to his own devices, Sebastian obtained a position as a professor and the Sapphire Owl dorm supervisor, which proved to be even better, seeing as Ciel was placed in Sapphire Owl. Ciel's main goal now was to get as close to the P4 as possible. He had voiced his opinion that they probably had something to do with the strange behaviour of the students who did not want to return to their homes.
The Phantomhive butler and his master had been at Weston College for well over a month without any luck of getting to the bottom of this case. At least Ciel was making progress with warming up to the P4. That seemed to be the only thing going for him at the moment. Sebastian, when not teaching, supervising, or taking over Ciel's 'fag time' duties for Clayton, was left to tutor students who needed help after class hours. Most of the students had warmed up to him right away, saying he was the kindest and most helpful of all their professors.
Currently Sebastian was finishing up helping one of the second years with his mathematics in his office. Only a few more minutes and young Herald (the boy Sebastian was tutoring) would be returning to his room for a good night's sleep. It was almost midnight. If he allowed them, students would probably be coming to him for help every hour of the day. That was the reason he cut off student visits at midnight. Even though he did not have sleep, Sebastian still needed a little bit of time to himself, or to complete any orders given to him by Ciel. Speaking of which, he had not seen his young master today except for briefly at breakfast. As a matter of fact, he had not seen the boy much at all since they both started their positions at Weston College.
