[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,392,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=#000304]Here he was, just like he told Char he would be, wandering between the bowing trees that made up the forest. Most of the horses who wandered these trees were star-crossed lovers, who came here for a romantic get-away, or were horses who had no home, wandering wherever their heart desired. Zandarkand was neither. His heart broken, he merely wandered wandered here and there, wherever his hooves took him. Now standing beneath a rather large willow tree, the stallion flicked his ears forward, blinking his golden eyes as the sunlight was slowly fading from the day. The night was going to a bit cooler than normal, he could already tell by the sudden drop in temperature around him.
Zandarkand's tail slapped his hide, a slight sting to it as he had been practically whipping himself for not getting to Char sooner. None of this would've happened if he hadn't been hiding in caves around Rocas. Stomping a hoof on the grassy earth, the Thoroughbred's guilt spred like a wildfire. He had never felt this way before, and he was surprised he was acting like quite a fool over a young mare. Clenching his jaw, the stallion sought to clear his mind, shaking his head rather violently before setting out at a slow walk.
Once again, his hooves were wandering where they wanted to, not a care in the world on his destination. Even if they led him over a cliff, it was better than being back in Rocas, where the guilt was pressing in on him on all sides. Ears tilted back against the bay's skull, as his hooves made his body pause once more, a large cave gaping before him. So much like the ones in Rocas where he hid, they all looked the same on the outside. Stepping within, the stallion breathed in, the musky smell of the earth around him comforting him. Eyes slid shut, and his head lowered, as he stood near the back wall, exhaustion slipping into every fiber of his body.
He needed to sleep, all this turmoil in his mind was wearing him down. Shoulder twitched, as his knees buckled beneath him, and he lay against the cavern wall, head tucked toward his stomach, breathing becoming shallow as sleep washed over him. zandarkand . three hundred seventy six . hide and seek, namie amuro . open to anyone (: . lizzeh 2011 . |

Her curiosity absorbed her once again. The small fea had been exploring the Isola for many months and she finally decided to rest for a short while. Violet ocules drifted upward as she approached a large cave mouth, the seemingly fathomless dark was intimidating to the femme, but something told her that she must enter. Bellatrixa's vibrant pink and purple highlighted whipcord flicked slightly to the right, the brown tangles driving away some of the nighttime insects away from her bodice. Audits swiveled forward as the feminique slipped into the cave, she blinked as her eyes adjusted to the very dim shadows. Bella's pillars stiffened, her cranium darted upward as she sensed tention, another creature. Her nostrils flared as they drank in some of the dank air. There was another being, another horse to be exact. She timidly backed away, too tense to bother the equine. She was still curious to see who this horse might be, and her curiosity once again overcame her, "Is there anyone here?" the words slipped from her kissers as she tried to make out any figure in this pitch black. The fea hoped that this horse wouldn't be something of dark nature, she had far too many accidents with dark creatures, and she didn't want that to happen again.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,392,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=#000304]Eyes flickered underneath closed eyelids, the sleep disappearing too quickly. Nostrils flared, and he could smell the scent of a mare within the abode he called home now, and his eyes opened suddenly. Was Char here to talk? Hooves scrabbled on the stone floor, making such a noise that his ears pinned against his skull. However, the dainty scent that drifted past him once more told him it wasn't the leader of Rocas lands. Blinking his eyes to get adjusted to the light once more, he saw the frame of a petite mare, backing toward the entrance of the large cavern he was housed in. Glancing around his body, he realized he stood in shadows, cloaked in the darkness that the cave held.
Hooves moved the stallion from his sanctuary, into better light, staring at this mare as his eyes became more adjusted. Fear danced off this poor creature, and he wondered why. Tilting his head, he heard her words, and ears pricked forward in mere curiosity. This poor soul's words were tainted with fear, and Zandarkand couldn't help but feel sad and sorry for her. Stepping forward some more, he cleared his throat, ears tilted forward in case more lyrics escaped the mare. There is no need to fear anything here, miss. Nothing will bite you that lives within this cave, the stallion let a small smile cross his muzzle, and he stopped walking toward the mare.
What if she bolted, afraid that the stallion would hurt her? Zan didn't come off as a mean stallion, did he? He displayed signs that he was a gentle being, one that wouldn't harm a fly, which was in reality, the truth. The Thoroughbred stood still within this cave, waiting for the dove before him to speak once more. zandarkand . two hundred ninety five . going crazy, natalie . lizzeh 2011 . |

She ignored the abrupt sound of hooves against the ground, assuming that the brute had mistaken her for someone else. Someone who wasn't exactly on his good side at the current moment. The fea's ocules captured the copper stag as he stepped out of the shadows, his words comforted her as he stated that he wouldn't hurt her. Bellatrixa's audits pricked to make herself seem of the friendlier type of equine, for she couldn't picture herself being devious at all, "My humble greetings, I am known as Bellatrixa, but you may call me whatever you'd like, sir." having a slight mockery of the proper titles, though she kept that concealed, for she wished to stay in a polite manner. The fea took a small step forward, too seem at the slightest amount more confident from his words.
The fea looked into his eyes, then looked away, so that she wouldn't totally creep him out, since she could sense he was tired, as if he toiled physically and mentally with a thick concoction of countless unique emotions. The femme's tail flicked once more then she started to ponder upon various things. Who could this stallion possibly be? Was he dangerous (even though he already told her that he was not a threat)? And countless other things. She decided to wait for the male to reply to her own words before speaking again, which she usually spoke far too fast than she should have. But something overcame the fea, as if mental maturity was slowly coming over her and she could grasp at least a slight amount of control of her own thoughts, words, and deeds.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,392,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=#000304]Bellatrix. Zandarkand hadn't ever heard of this mare before, perhaps she was new upon Isola? Ears tilted toward her, noting the unusual title she used with him. No one had ever called him sir before, and it felt quite weird being called it now. The Thoroughbred shook his head slightly, a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. The name is Zandarkand. Really, there is no need to call me sir. The stallion was flattered, in all honesty, that a horse would even show him some sort of respect, despite them just meeting. Tail flicked lazily behind the stallion, as he caught Bellatrix's gaze, before she ripped her eyes away from him. The brief glimpse made Zan think of Char, back before she had gotten pregnant, back before their big argument. A sadness washed over the young stag, and his head lowered, ears tilting back toward his skull. He didn't want to seem so depressed in front of a possible friend, but the thoughts of Char were making the crevices in his heart deepen and widen, becoming canyons.
Suddenly, the stallion straightened himself, clenching his jaws together. He wasn't going to show weakness for another mare again, his mind had come to that conclusion. Taking a step forward, Zan really wanted to walk, to not be holed up in a place for too long. Smiling at the mare, he didn't want to seem rude. You wouldn't mind going for a walk with me, would you? It'd help me clear my head, and I wouldn't mind getting to know bit about you. zandarkand . two hundred sixty one . tim mcgraw, taylor swift . lizzeh 2011 . |

The fea's audits flicked toward the copper clad stag as he addressed himself as Zandarkand, and that the title she has used was not necessary. A smirk tugged at the corners of her kissers as she loved to meet new horses. The mare was curious to learn more about this stag, other than his calling, that is. Violet pools drifted up toward his ocules once again, a curious expression over them. The smirk slowly faded into a polite smile as he began to speak. Thoughts quickly ran through her head as the stallion inquired if she would like to go on a walk with him, 'Of course! I would love to." she replied, complete honesty in her words. Bellatrixa disliked remaining within one place for too long, and this was the perfect opportunity to learn more about the bronze brute, and to actually regain more of her vision again.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,392,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=#000304]Nodding at the mare, he moved forward, flicking his tail slowly behind his body. Eyes went to Bellatrixa, and the stallion smiled. What would you like to talk about, m'dear, the stallion asked, prancing in place. The Thoroughbred had quite a lot of pent up energy, and his ears twitched on top of his head. After speaking for a little bit with this mare, perhaps the two could go running. It'd feel good to stretch his legs out once again. Bronze head turned, to look toward the bowing willow trees. So many secrets each leaf held, knowing what had happened within the tilted limbs of their bodies. Eyes left the trees and their leaves, traveling to rest once more upon Bellatrixa. zandarkand . one hundred twenty one . seasons of war, blizzard entertainment . sorry it's so short, disco . lizzeh 2011 . |
