Mystique The pale gold mare had been looking for this land for awhile now. For it was her ancestor's land. It was something she had been trying to find for the past year now. This island was much bigger than it seemed when she was trying to actually find something there. now that she was here, she wondered if there were any other horses of her blood here. The thoguht hit her that she could be the only one left of her kind. Her mother and father were both of pure blood, but they had died of old age a few years back. They had never told her if there were any others romaing this island or holding a position in one of the lands. It was all very new to her, so she would have to find out on her own. It would be very sad to be the only one left of her kind. There were many other horses on this island, but being an elemental like Mystique, she tended to feel all alone a lot of the time. To clam her fears (or prove them) she lifted her head and let out a loud whinny, hoping to call to attention anyone nearby.

Vaiveahtoish beheld the presence of another equine amongst the folds of his lands before the stranger themselves gave announcement to their own wanderings. Delicately, a petaled ear flicked, catching the audios with ease as the marble coated stallion relapsed into motion. Long stilts made even strides as the lead sought out audience with the one whom had wandered into Animus. Silently, the Konjou slipped through the vast waves of limitless grass, the fog cloaking his translucent form as the stag mad movement. Nostrils flared, catching the scent as a silhouette presented itself to grace to silver-lined vision. Halting, Vaiveah allowed himself to assess to situation for a moment, observing. With almost arcane interest, the Lord came to the realization that she was, like himself, of Spirit blood.
Muscles tensed as the lead read easily the markings etched deeply into her features. Without farther stalling upon his part, the motion returned as he moved to her front, embracing the slight cover from the fog. Vaiveah, though ashen wisdom was always upon bitter tongue, bowed low in the expanse of blanketing snow, head bowed to allow the long folds of his heavy shimmered mane to give grace to frozen earth, the lands of his own. Then, after tedious movements holding the arch of positioning, the stag rose. Calmly, he did not show the unease for this, speaking with smooth, even tones. 'Welcome to Animus Elegancia. My name is Vaiveahtoish, Lord of this place.'
With timely matter characteristic as the proud stance upheld in the presence of all to follow, the Konjou allowed his light eyes to take her in for a moment before returning to settle upon her facial features once more. The features of his own where merely as mask of indifference, for it was not the one of his to be seeking. The mare had come here, had she not? Seeking out the her homeland, just as he had. Yes, he was not one to deny such a thing. For their breed was hard enough to find these days without the unbridled tongue lashing out with thoughts.

A pair of mares trotted into the mist-covered land, their tails streaming behind them, the hooves drumming together in time. The pair trotted up a small rise in the land and they stopped together. Pools of black and pools of white looked about, taking in the landscape set before them. The white pricked her ears as the sound of hoofbeats came to her attension. Cocking her head slightly, she moved her ear to better locate the sorce of the sound.
There. Moving gracfully through the belly-high grass, a pearly stallion seamed to float towards something that had his attension. She nudged the black and indicated the stallion. The black nodded and began moving down the hill. Something had drawn the wanderers feet to this misty land, and neither of them knew exactly what it was. They ghosted after the elegant stallion, making attempts to quiet their movement as not to disterb his focus. They both admired his fluid stride and the powerful grace he displayed with every step.

The stallion drifted without the pretense of idle care through the lightly brushed grasses of his homeland, steps sure amongst the thick oceans as well as slightly cautious as he read the auras of those who sought to look onward. The mist enveloped Vaiveah in a welcome cloak, the beading of liquid upon his coat enough to catch the vacating rays of light that sought to penetrate the cover of clouds. It was of little wonder that the stallion could tangibly feel the presence of the others, those who took their measured steps into the fields of Animus so easily without the truth in knowing where they shall be brought. For the time being, he allowing him this sight, not bothering then to pause in his step, continuing onward with the scouting of his lands, though secretly measuring the progression of those behind himself. They intent was not malicious, something that spirit equine could feel in the way they carried themselves, though he felt the desire to scope the rest of the fleshings out before choosing so to announce himself to them in turn. Nostrils flared for a moment as he took to pausing in step, craning his neck to the droplets of the heavens as though to inspect the wind himself, as he was, cloudless orbs gazing out among the sweeping scenery with little more than the feigning on intent in the happenings.
Finally, he drew himself into his proper posture, taking upon the fine stance that usually marked his pose and seat amongst those whom took graciously to treading as so carefully into that which marked his own. The pair where Konjou, that much was apparent from the moment Vaiveah caught wind of them, though his ears flickered back from a moment to listen to the delicate footfalls, the sureness of their shadowed steps, measured as well as collected in pairs. The orbs did not choose to seek out what which may not be seen through the fog, though he knew exactly where they were stationed in relation to his own pose. His muscles tensed slightly as he turned the graceful arch of his neck a degree to better cast his voice through the silence. 'Welcome to Animus Elegancia, wanderers.' His voice was drawn from his mouth with the smooth collection as though recited, without the added desire for them to show themselves, not wishing for a hasty retreat shall they not choose to accept the comfort that came with the falling into his own presence. They had a right to their home, and he would give them all from that stemming that they desired.
It was a wonder for the stallion how many would never find this place of their lineage, how many would muddle their lives with other equines, dwelling in other places without this claim. It was their right to either, of course, but with all the haunts that drifted across the plains of the isles, the stallion himself could only but fathom wandering for such a long time, though he himself had done the same so many collections of wanderings ago. Vaiveahtoish stood, without movement, the long grasses brushing carelessly against his translucent pelting as he held the position without the impatience of youth. His long petaled ears swiveled for a moment, taking in another measured breath in his waiting, though remaining otherwise motionless.

The pair were wondering when and if the great stallion would notice them as they ghosted along behind him. When he slowed to a stop, they did the same, watching as he struck a pose and turned his gracful head towards them. The white shyed back a bit as he spoke, but the black, awed by the tembre in his voice, took a step towards him. She turned her head and fixed a white pool on her sister, giving her a comforting nudge. The simple touch seemed to calm the mare down a bit and she came up beside her sister once more.
The sisters stepped out together, the mist parting and curling about their hooves, like foals frolicing about the trees. They approached the stallion, their postures defencive but confident all the same. The stopped a few feet away, and the white was first to speak. She arched her neck, placing her fine head with grace at the peak of it's height. "We are humbled by your kind words, King stallion and we thank you for your hospitable welcome. We have wondered for many months and have found few kind souls that have spoken to us kindly. May I ask your name?"
The black examined the white stag before her, white pools of eyes glimmering with appreciation. He was of a light and graceful build, much like her sister and herself. His eyes were a peircing blue that held her attension for a moment before she took a closer look at his markings. After her sister finished speaking, she arched her neck and added, "What my sister says is true. We have traveled many miles from where we were foaled and have met few kind souls to speak of. Do tell us your calling, Great King."
The sisters held themselves quietly as they waited for a reply, breathing softly and swishing tails gently against the tall grasses. The mist had gathered across their pelts, making them glimmer in the early moonlight. Their fleabitten markings twinkled brightly in sunny copper and starry silver. The white ajusted her position so she was standing at her prettiest, neck arched and tail held high. The black did likewise and the pair waited for a reaction from the watching stallion.

The mist curled as though tentacles or shackles about his hooves, lapping eagerly upon the sides of his translucent hide as though to give minimal grace to the droplets beading across the surface. Vaiveahtoish listened without much reaction, gently flicking an ear forth as though to anticipate their audios, catching them as they fell with easy rhythm from each of the mare's mouths as they spoke in alternative fashion. Humorlessly, he noted the way they referred to him, wondered if he should be humbled by this or feel a bit of caution for the referred fashion they held, though from their forms it would seem as though the stallion had little to worry about with their respect so easily checked as their tongue in the ways they asked from his calling. A name was more than a title, an aching to pass his lips as though itself would sum up more of an offering in itself than the stag wished so to inspect. With another fluttering of eyelash passing as a blink, he continued to regard them calmly as they spoke, waiting for the ending notes of silence to ring with need for the adding pronunciation of another. A pair as though matched, the proverbial yin to yang standing before him in the cool of the grasslands did not unnerve, but tugged at the forming beads of curiosity, though there was no rush for this situational stall.
'I am Vaiveahtoish, and I have serviced no kings. I am but a Lord in fashion, not more outside of these lands.' His voice was once more without the feigning lines of emotion, expression never faltering in tone as he then continued with little more than the pausing of breath to gather. 'Your own callings, might I be tempted to inquire?' Conversational pairings had lost their needs in the mind of the Elemental, digesting the appearance as well as the words of these Konjou so seeking these lands. Nostrils flared slightly, tasting so easily their scents, confirmation of what he already knew, wishing he could give them something akin to a smile, though the muscles of his maw would never form such a thing. In the poise he had taken, the long strands of his tail flicked, once, an absent movement aside from the gentle ripples of light contorting the markings of his coat. Would this pair stay so in Animus, or continue to seek the home of their own in order to find all the inrequinted required. There was so little to be had in the ways of the young in this place, aside from the graceless company of himself, who did not partake usually in the idleness of chatter. Stranger
As though to leash himself with hostility or show of unbridled emotion amongst the pair of audience members, Vaiveah silenced the intrusion of his own thoughts. Wishing as though to project all the aspects of a timely matter, the proud stance was farther maintained without the needless heeding of motion, impassive of language. The Konjou allowed the lights of his orbs to sweep across their features for another moment before settling back into the place between their stance, neither looking at one nor the other. It was amazing to himself that the world could all but carry on with the cloak of indifference when another was suffering on the inside, hell bent to crack as he was. There was nothing to be done but what had to be serviced, standing as he was in wait. The waiting for a sentence, taken straight past the heart, as though he couldn't look another in the eye. When was the cycle? These two were not to blame with their elegance appearances and beautiful frames. Yet it was taken as poison into his veins.

The twins watched in silence at the Stag assessed them before asking their names. The white had the oddest feeling that this stallion was something more than just a normal equine like them. Her pupil-less black eye flicked to her sister before focusing on the white stag before her. "I carry the name of Dovesong. It is a pleasure to meet you, Vaiveahtoish. Do you have a herd on these fine misty lands?" she said softly, her eyes drifting over the markings on the stallion, which the mist was making them glimmer oddly in the early moonshine. It seemed that she stayed looking at the stallion though, because she nor her sisters white pools seemed to have pupils. She did refocus on the stallion's eyes when her sister began to speak. She was oddly curious about this stallion's similarity to their own body type... could he know about their sire or dam?
The black waited for her sister to fall into silence before opening her own maw to speak. " I am called Ravenscry, Lord Vaiveahtoish. If you do not mind me asking, what breed of equine are you? You are like none that I have ever seen before and my curiosity is getting the better of me." Rave gave a brief nod as she spoke, alittle more strongly than her sister had spoken. She felt oddly calm in the presence of this particular stag, which contrasted her usual wariness of strangers. Her gaze swept the plains before refocusing on the stag. He looked so strong and proud, bathed in moonlight like he was. She blinked her midnight lids across her white pools and waited for the response she felt both were eager to receive.

Vaiveahtoish bestowed the inclining of his head with the flow of rhythmatic sentences that unfolded before his statuette of form with dilation of clouded orbs, deeply entuned with the nature of such an inquiry. Petal ears where held in neutral succession nevertheless, muscles in the lines of translucent pelting sharp with tensity. It was uncommon for an Elemental to not know the natures of their own breeding, but the spirit equine tried to ignore that glaring fact for the moment, sensitive to the natures of the past as he was. The wind cradled the voices to his ears, ringing hollowly as the pronunciation of a question drifted so idly through his mind, the ringing afterward in the natures as though a switch had been turned in his mind. His petaled ears swiveled forth to prick themselves, intent upon the nature of this more so than the object of their names.
'I am a Konjou, spirit Elemental of Isola Dei Dei, just as the pair of you are yourselves.' The stag felt no particular need to be cautious about telling them, for it was not a matter of feigned patience nor the matter of the other question he was left to answer. Ears swiveled back to their neutral position in a clean movement as he prepared himself from another small idle of speech. 'As for your own asking, Dovesong, I do have a herd upon this place.' He took in measure the tempering of their auras, balancing the scales themselves least the situation evolve into something with a harsher escalation of tongue. Raising the crown of his noble head, nostrils flared in fruitless search for any other methods of company, not wishing to let himself slip in the waning measures of his split presence.
He so wished to allow a sigh to slip past the cage of his maw, but instead continued to peer through the pair, fitting their names to their appearances with little wonder. For an Elemental, it is usually easy to see the differences in oneself from the mortal kind gracing already the isles. However, these two where young by his estimate, and from what they had said, traveled without the general splendor of much other company. Yet, it made his mind reel slightly. How many more where there without this knowledge, with the Isles tottering on the brink of an iminant war with each other. Measuring the extent of his thought once more, he allowed himself to indulge in more waiting, listening to the silence of the mist licking about him as the grasses rustled to the sway.

Dove and Raven took a collective step back along with twin gasps. Them? Elementals? The looked to eachother, their pools of eyes locking together. Those abnormal eyes were a hint that they we not normal fae, but they had brushed it off as an odd mutation. They were twins who were extremly in-tune with eachother, but that was not abnormal...was it?
Dove was the first to gather her courage and re-adopt her delicate pose. "Something tells me that you are not being truthful to us...You are a fine example of an Elemental lord, and were are the cur that equine society has formally rejected. We are twins that have wandered most of our lives... We would have known if we were different from the others...would we not?" She said, her soft voice schooled into a emotion-less tone. She watched this stallion, waiting for him to snap at her inncolence. She just could not believe what he was telling them.
Raven gathered herself and lifted her head once more, the silver flecks in her hide winking like stars in the sky. She focused squarly on the stallion and bore down on him with her white gaze. This would un-nerve most horses, but she felt that this stallion could handle it. "I have always had a feeling that we were different from others, dear sister, but I am not sure I believe this fine stag either. We are definatly a pair of a kind, but that kind may not be what he says. Having no idea who our father and mother were does not help us in this folly either." The black mare shifted so that her shoulder touched her sister's white shoulder and a feeling of calm spread to both of them. They calmly stood together, one aura, waiting for an answer that may change their lives forever.
