Cardinal "The speech that comes from my maw"The thought that is insideThe things I doA dark colored mare walk silently through dark forest terrain. The mare had a strong looking body and she wasn't little either. She was a mare of time and she was a purebred of the breed Veggenti. She had heard of the lead stallion and his nickname Tate but he sounded powerful and someone to respect. She had come to ask if she could join his herd or even be leading lady.
She strode through the undergrowth with no effort. She was elegant and agile but she was a good fighter when needed. She is wise but young, she is smart and strong and she thought she would be enough for him.
She was heading to where the center of the territory was t omeet him and she was excited but afraid.

DUE AFFRONTATO.Tate stood, large frame rigid, different coloured eyes vacant and dim... The land was dying, no Veggenti horses had come out of the darkness that seemed to cling to the ether, a mutual fear cloaking the earth, the stench of death ever present. Two horses, not including himself. That was all. And one hadn't been seen in months, and so it was just Aetas and Tate that made up the ranks of the Time herd.
Until today.
He'd barely been searching through the future anymore, as he knew all the sights he would see were of fire, destruction... Death. Murder. It had begun to take it's toll on the stallion, and his coat was lacking with condition, frame a little skinnier than the year before. Still, he was well over 17hh and who needed muscles when you had such control in your mind?
It was definitely a shock to Tate when the vision of a horse, no not just any horse - a horse lucky enough to have the bloodline of the Veggenti herd running through it's veins - strolling elegantly through the center of Terra di Pausa. He realised swiftly that she was a mare, strong, with a glossy dark coat and eager eyes, and recognised the land she stood apon, which wasn't too far from the stallion.
He bunched his muscles, standing on his back two legs, punching the air with the invigoration of another herd member, and sprang forwards and began to canter smoothly, a vision of ebony and ivory. As he approached he stopped suddenly, sliding and churning up the soft ground, the sun radiating onto his back, glaring into his ruby and sapphire eyes, and reached out with his mind to speak to her through her own "Why hello there young fae, what brings you to these parts?"
