[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,392,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=#000000]It was as if the weather was mourning the fallen King of these lands, as Revenant entered the boundaries of Felwood. Rain fell slowly, dripping along the ivory stallion's neck, his mane clinging to the muscles and flesh. Ears tilted back, as the stallion didn't like the rain as much as other horses might. As he trudged into the meadow that lay at the foot of the mountains, the rain stopped falling, the clouds above him parting to allow the sun to shine down upon the damp earth below. Looking up at the disappearing clouds, the Andalusian breathed in deeply. The fading smells of autumn first drew his attention. Looking at the trees around him, he didn't know how such a barren landscape such as the dead forest could give off such an aroma.
Tail swayed behind the stallion slowly, as he continued his way through the knee-high grasses. With each step, nostrils flared, the stallion hesitant to go further. Ever since Hannibal's death, there had been rumors that Felwood was haunted, that the ghost of the dead tyrant drifted through his forsaken lands, chasing off everyone who tried to claim them as their own. Revenant didn't believe in ghost tales and he wanted to actually see what would happen if he claimed Felwood for his own. Stopping beside the small river that flowed through the territory, the stallion looked around, quite surprised that such a nice territory did stay empty for so long.
Hooves lifted off the ground, as the stallion reared, sending a clear whinny through the air, claiming the territory as his own. As he landed, he waited, to see what would actually happen. A sharp wind rushed around him, ruffling his mane and tail, but that was about it. Smirking at the superstitions, the stallion shook his mane out, then lowered his head to the sweet grasses at his hooves, nibbling at them slowly. He would go to find members for his herd, once he felt rested and restored.

The sudden rain had stopped, the smell of the sweet grass in the meadow below lured Bellona to it. The long grass swayed as she climbed down to rocky slope of the mountain. Rain was greatly needed upon this land. The Paint mare slowly made her down to the meadow. The wet grass tickled her legs as she wondered through it. Her ears flicked around alert for anything that might be harmful to her. Her white and palomino body blened with the green and yellow grass. Her large brown eyes serached the meadow for any sign that she might have company. The sweet smell of grass lingered in her nostrils as she slowly lowered her head to graze. Her nostrils flared and she pawed at the ground.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,392,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=#000000]The cooling temperatures of the land felt pleasant to the young stallion, as he stood beside the river and grazed. However, a new scent upon the air caught his attention, and the stallion looked up, ears flicking forward. Someone new within his newly obtained lands? Flaring his nostrils, golden eyes scanned the meadow around him, wondering who was here. Eyes caught sight of a multi-colored horse standing within the grasses, a few yards away, and he flared his nostrils. Muscles bunched under his white coat, as he moved through the water, the chill feeling quite good against his skin, the stallion sent out a friendly nicker to the mare.
Hooves carried the stallion to the mare, his ears tilted forward slightly. Well, hello there, miss. I am Revenant, the new leader of Felwood. What is your name, Revenant wasted no time getting down to business. Shifting his weight, the ivory leader looked over Bellona, an ear tilted toward her.

Bellona lifted her head as a nicker was sent in her direction. She shook her head and nickered back. The ivory stallion approached her and her nostrils flared. She nodded as she understood him. Bellona flicked her ears foward, Bellona, she went back to grazing on the long sweet grass. Her nose twitched as the wind swirled around her. The green grass swayed once more, and Bellona lifted her head. Her tail swishing around. She iched her leg and looked at the stallion. He was much larger that her and looked powerful. The sun light shone down through the thick heavy clouds onto the still wet meadow. The heavy grass blades swayed in the strong breeze.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,392,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=#000000]Despite the short answer the mare had given him, Revenant was alright with it. Eyes drift up to the mountains looming over the meadow, thick clouds dancing around the peaks, snow clearly upon the ground there. Looking back to Bellona, the ivory stallion's mind whirled, trying to compile his thoughts into working sentences. Where did you come from? Did you wash up on the island like the majority of horses, or have you lived on Isola your whole life? What else was he supposed to ask? Beside the reason why she had wandered upon his territory, unannounced. Revenant wasn't going to be one of those leaders who chased out horses for intruding upon his lands. If they were a wanderer, someone looking for a place to stay, the white stallion would allow them to seek refuge within Felwood.
Ears danced upon Revenant's head, as he continued to look at Bellona, his head tilted to the side slightly. What brings you to Felwood, anyways? There. The question finally was lain upon the table. As the stallion waited for the mare's answer, he could feel the sunlight shimmering down from above, the storm that had suddenly swept over his territory vanishing.

The palomino mare starred at the stallion as the river of question flooded the air around them. She shook her head trying to give all the questions in her head an answer. I have lived here all my life, I have just kept myself in the shadows, her answer was the most she had spoken since the stallion had approached her. She wasn't one to talk to a stallion that she had just meant, but this was his territory so he deserved some answers. Another reply came from her muzzle, I am looking for a place to live out my life...., she paused, ...in peace, she continued. She lowered her head and started to graze once more, alert for anything the stallion had to say. Her ears flicked back and forth to caught any noises that could harm her or her, New Friend. Her large brown eyes scanned the ground for anything interesting. Her nostrils flared as she swatted at the irratating fly that wanted to rest on her body. She huffed and lifted her head to look at the stallion. Bellona paw at the wet and soggy ground. It was muddy and soft. She still stood beside Revenant.
