As she stopped suddenly, her raven guide paused as well, turning in mid-air to look at the mare who had stopped. Well, why did you pause, youngling? Surely you'd like to continue onward and find Lassan? Or is there someone else you're waiting for, the young bird was polite toward the innocent mare, and Minaj let a small smile cross her muzzle. The Arabian mix took a few steps foward, then paused again. You can go ahead and leave me here. You don't have to play guide anymore. Your kindness has been enough for me. I can wait here for Taren, Minaj's gentle voice rang through the air, and the bird nodded, her wings carrying her in circles, almost as if she were slightly bored. I wish you a fine day, miss. If you ever need anymore help, do not be afraid to call on any raven. We're here to help, Minaj nodded as the raven finished speaking, and watched as her feathered friend took off.
Breathing out slowly, the small mare glanced around at the trees around her, quite at ease, even if she were in unknown territory. What if this Lassan came and pushed her out of his territory? Ears twitched on top her head, and eyes glanced around again, hoping to see Taren approaching and guiding her toward a more open place. These trees reminded her of back in Aro's land, the swampy mess where he had made sure she didn't wander into. At the thought, the mare's coat twitched, and she nibbled on her lip slightly. The scars lined her muzzle where he had bit her, silver gashes now compared to the red, swollen wounds they had first been.
Minaj breathed in deeply, the smell of fall surrounding her. The smell was so much different than she had become used to in Aro's lands, they seemed to spark a memory of when she was younger. Of running along side a larger mare, the warmness that had suddenly taken over her body. Tears welled within her eyes, as Minaj tried to grasp onto the fleeting moment, wanting to keep it in case it brought on something more. But it slipped away into the darkness before she could grab it. A sad sigh escaped the mare, and she looked to the trees around her once more, nostrils quivering, as she waited for Taren.

He had been waiting for her. The offer for a home here in Liberta still stood, she would be safe here. He was still a bit nervous about her coming here, which was an odd feeling to experiance. Why should he be nervous? There was nothing for him to worry about, and if Aro tried to come for her, he would give him a piece of his mind. The stupid bastard had ruined his life, had taken his mother from him and ruined her, and had preyed on countless other innocent mares. It would probably do the world good if he was put out of everyone else's misery. That stallion was experianced, but was getting old, and Taren was a brute in his prime. He couldn't wait till the day he could teach him a lesson.
He was grazing in a field nearby when one of the ravens landed on his shoulder. He looked up at her curiously, ears pricking. "A little arab is waiting for you near the borders, Taren," she told him, and a smile touched his maw. " Why thank you for the message," he told her, and the bird then took off again. He flared his nostrils and breathed in the autumn air, and found a trace of Minaj on the wind. Shaking his mane, he headed off toward the direction where he thought she was. Soon enough he came upon her in the middle of a field, and whinnied to her. "Minaj!" he called as he approached, grinning. "I'm glad you came." 2a4791 SPEECH

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,392,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=#0B0000]She didn't know how long she had been waiting in her little clearing, but soon, Taren appeared and a small smile crossed the mare's muzzle. Despite having lost the memory that had suddenly swarmed her mind, Minaj felt a happiness in seeing a friendly face among so many cold hearted horses upon Isola. Nodding her head at his exclamation, Minaj couldn't help but take a happy step toward him. I was a bit hesitant at first, but the little raven explained that everything would be alright while I was here in Liberta. I just hope I made the right choice, the mare's voice drifted off, not knowing if she should've been happy that she was finally going to have a place to call home, or if she should've felt very nervous.
Ears danced on top of her skull, as she stared at Taren, then with a tilt of her head, the nervous butterflies swarmed within her stomach. So... what shall we do now? Would you mind showing me around the territory? Despite how nervous she was about being within the borders of Liberta, the gentle smile she had greeted the stallion with still stayed upon her muzzle. For another brief moment, an ancient memory appeared within her mind, and the smile slipped from her face for a second. A small gasp escaped her, and she managed to grab hold of the memory before it disappeared back into the recesses of her mind.
This one was of the same older mare, standing behind her, a large, black stallion standing before her, admiring her courage at such a young mare standing up to an adult. Minaj blinked her eyes, quite curious as to when this had happened in her life, although as the black stallion in her memory began speaking the memory disappeared. Frustration set in, and she stomped a hoof, snorting violently. Realizing that Taren would probably think she was mad, she let the gentle smile cross her maw once again, as if nothing had caused the mare to change moods so quickly.
