Civil War stalked through the trees that surrounded the clearing. He had recently swept up on the beach, thinking all was well until he saw his trainer was gone. He had ventured off the beach into this strange land. His mane and tail were still wet, and they stuck to his dapple Grey coat. He snorted, peering out from the trees. Civil always knew the humans would abandon him, but he was hurt that the person who cared for him since birth was gone. He needed someone to tell him where he was, how to get off this island. The island had an evil air to it that he didn't at all like. He felt sure that screams were coming from parts of the island. Civil's stomach growled, and he squeezed his blueish Grey eyes shut, he had to eat. He carefully out one foot in front of the other, as if he had forgotten to walk. Steadily, he made his way to the middle of the clearing, and he bent down to eat. The grass was lush and thriving, leaving him wondering why no other creatures were grazing too. He flicked his long tail against his rump, shooing away the flies. Wow, what a great way to end your birthday. Your trainer is gone, and you're stuck on this stupid island. He thought bitterly to himself, but his stomach thought otherwise. Civil kept eating, thinking of all the bad things that had happened that day.

The coal stallion strode softly through the clearing, eyes a dull slate grey due to his boredom. He needed some excitement, or perhaps a friend to keep him company, but he would only chose equines who surpassed a certain intellectual standard, as otherwise conversation would be dull - he hated having to explain things. You could say he had quite a short temper, his anger ignited as easily as flicking a switch, but most of the time he just walked, alone, and passed his days by doing what seemed right at the time. Fighting, mares, two things that interested the stallion, along with violence and the taste of blood in his mouth.
Artyom, quite the strange character.
The heat of the sun radiating onto his jet back was too much, and he settled into a smooth trot to some shade created by a group of gnarled trees, and disappeared into it's depths. Cranium lowered, ripping at the lush grass with pearly teeth, a contrast to his dark coat. It was then he heard it, the sound of chewing - at first he thought there was a slight echo, but deemed that impossible due to his position in the trees, and so pricked his radars to determine the source of the sound, hoping it was an alone mare, so vulnerable and easy to manipulate.
Sadly for the brute it was in fact another stallion, a similar height to his own, only, something about him interested Arty.. For one, his coat and banner were still a little damp, meaning he had to have been in the sea as it hadn't rained in quite a few days, and the most intriguing was the fact his mane, tail and coat seemed to be slightly trimmed. Humans. Had to be. He had heard of these animals that spoke and walked on two legs, and even though they were smaller than equines hunted and tortured them by strapping things to their back and putting bits of metal in their mouths and actually sitting on their backs and riding them round.
Quite intrigued, Artyom moved silently from the shadows and eased into a steady canter, limbs moving fluidly, covering the ground swiftly. His eyes were now a lighter blue, glittering like sapphires in the sun. He slowed gracefully to a stop a mere 20 metres away, staring silently at the stallion, assessing him. He wanted to introduce himself, but didn't know how - his social skills had never been the best, and he didn't want to blatantly ask 'oh hi, don't suppose you could tell me about your past with humans? Is there any on this island?' and so just stood there, waiting for the other horse to speak first.[/blockquote]

Civil War could feel the presence of another horse before he saw it. Stallion. This thought relived him for he didn't want to get caught up with some sassy mare. He looked up,rather grumpy, but was able to speak up. " Hello there. Do you know where I am?" Was all he said, scanning him with bored eyes. Civil had a bit of his evil personality with him, due to what he just went through, but he was relatively nice. He did a slight grumble, and took a few steps toward the stallion, hoping he wasn't in someone's land. Sadly, some of his evil personality got to him. "Listen here. I got all the time in the world, but I don't want to waste it. So why don't you hurry it up, so I know where the heck I am." He said, rather sarcastic. He scanned the horse again, waited impatiently. Hopefully, the stallion was tough and could handle his words without breaking out. He took a few more steps, small droplets of water rolling off his pelt as his mane and tail started to dry.
