Daniaya. Two times I loved. Two times, I lost. The placid mare stood on the beachfront, just far enough from the waves that they did not touch her hooves. It was late evening, and the sun was an enormous orb perched upon the oceans horizon. The sky was morphed into many different shades of gold. Bronze offset the striking cream color, and some sections seemed nearly russet. It was a tranquil atmosphere, serene and calming, and it was just the type of near fairyland broken hearts voyaged to. The buttermilk colored mare stood still as statue as she indulged in the soft scent of sea salt that was carried on waves of ocean wind. It was here her mind could clear itself of the negative ghosts of pain that haunted her memories.
First Orpheus, albeit she abandoned the stallion on her own accord, it did not stop the guilt that hung low in her stomach. He was a cold stallion with a corrupt mind, but he had vowed his love for her, however twisted it was, and she had denied it from his already broken soul. She would never let that go, even if she did leave for her own sake. Living with the unstable, ticking time bomb that was Orpheus, would have been hell. And her feelings simply did not match his. She left him in cold blood at the time, and now she was to regret it forevermore.
But what caused the fae's heart to ache now was the year long disappearance of her newest love, Vaiveatoish. He was kindred within her and like two star crossed lovers their souls intertwined in a way she could not shake, and they fell in love as soon as their tired eyes fell upon each other. Both lost, both shattered, made for each other in every way. She missed him everyday and her lament did not end. She now stood on the very sand, of the very beach where she first met the almost alien-like stallion - he was an elemental king, nearly ghost like, with an undeniable odd aura wafting from his off-white frame. He was truly something rare, as was the connection the two shared. With his disappearance, the mutual wavelength between them burnt out, and her heart yet again was left hollow.
Now only the sound of the rolling ocean waves rolling over small shells upon the shore could fill her emptiness.

Devonwell
.X. Softened plumes of mist curled away from flaring nares as the warn air mingled with the cool evening air as the ebony stag stared out into the glassy waves, the sky's golden hues rested upon the waters as the sun was slowly swallowed up into the ocean's depths. It was such a beautiful sight, though it was equally curious to Devonwell, who was only watching the sunset just for the reason of studying it and contemplating about it. The charcoal brujo wondered where the sun disappeared each night for rest, where was it's usually dwelling? He flicked his jet black whipcord, such strange things happened on daily occurrence, but they were just out of his current space of contemplation. The stag drank in the crisp, salty air, curtains covered his ocules as he slowly recognized it's many scents. The stag quickly opened his eyes as a particular scent crossed over him. A fea on the beach, what a coincidence that they would be within the same area at the same time! Chocolate ocules surveyed the landscape where great waters lapped at the terra, in hopes he could find her, but he did not wish to partake in any sinful actions as most other brutes would, but Devonwell wished to possibly merely meet her.
After a short while of searching, he found her, such a beauteous creature, composed from the gods themselves, cursed to walk this living hell. He silently made his way toward her, he stood a ways behind her before a white owl swooped just over his cranium before flying off toward Belle Valle, "I suppose that could be a good omen." he said, breaking his cover. He supposed it did not matter, since he was just going to greet her anyways.

The sun sank lower, ready to be engulfed by the ocean, whose calm blue color was tainted gold by the massive orange orb. What a gorgeous, calming sight. Still, it resonated pain within the mare's heart, as she had met Vaiveahtoish here a year ago. The stallion she professed love for, the only baron she ever wanted to stand by forever. And like the seasons, he came and he went before she was ready to let go. Daniaya had once deemed herself stoic, but the pinto heathen Orpheus, and the soft creme white stag Vaiveahtoish had cracked upon her shell, exposing senistive feminine emotions well-hidden before them. She trusted and was let down. It was the price she paid for caring.
Suddenly, a smell mixed with that of the thin ocean air and sea salt. It was a deep, musky scent - undeniably belonging to a stallion. The doll-like mare tensed, small dark-tipped ears pinned. The last beast she wished to encounter on this isle was a stallion, a creature she now resented. She remained still and did not care to even look at the approaching character. But suddenly, the feel of a bird's flapping wings startled the calm, and the stallion spoke.
"A good omen, then? I could use one of those." Her voice was as soft as velvet and she chuckled lightly at her words, glancing back at the stallion with her emerald eyes. She flicked her long, flowing dark tassels against her pale sides and looked towards the horizon again. She would not allow her guard down around a stallion again. She did not give him the benefit of anything more then a quick glance. Perhaps she was being hostile, or acting like a misanthrope, but she had her reasons.
