It's what the air around Revenant had become, since summer crept it's way upon Isola. Beads of sweat hung to the ivory stallion's neck, ears drawn back against his skull in frustration. It had been some time since he had parted ways with Aithne, since he had seen any sign of her upon the island. Breathing in deeply, he felt as if his insides were on fire with this sweltering heat, and it made him so uncomfortable. Ever since he had stumbled upon the ice horse, he had disliked how the heat bothered him more than it had before. Shaking his head rather violently, Revenant moved from the shade of the trees, onto the beaches before him. The gentle lapping of the waves calmed him, and his ears tilted forward. Hooves moved him to the water's edge, and he breathed in deeply. Despite the burning sensation he felt, the smell of salt and water flowed through his nostrils, and a serene smile crossed his maw.
A spur of movement, and he entered the water, the waves lapping gently along his legs. The coolness of the water brought much relief to the ice stallion, and he moved deeper into the ocean's waves. Breathing out, the air that escaped his nostrils solidified, forming small ice crystals in the air before melting and evaporating. Being chest deep in water now, Revenant didn't move, rather stood still and enjoyed as the waves rocked up against his ivory body, the cool liquid bringing the heat that radiated off his body down. |

The heavy body of the mare carried the mare lightly to were she had found her self a year ago. Heat was at a new high than yesterdays heat. She would of picked yesterday's weather over this. Legs flew through through the air in movements long not used by the fea, but not forgotten, in her collected trot. She still remembered how to dance the things her humes once taught her. Dressage was oddly the best thing the mare did in her young age, with crowds cheering after she stopped moving. She was use to the pampering she once received, but she still view life as good, even she was brought to the shore of the odd island. It would be better to the mare if the heat was cooled by a breeze, but the only breeze was hot itself. The mare was use to the cool climate of her home, the region of Canada. It was nice there. Winters here didn't bug her like most would expect a tame horse to be annoyed by. But today, it was the heat that would have beat this mare. She had draft breading in her, their blood being use to being cool. The only reasoning in showing on the beach, Raven was hoping to find the sea breeze as relief, but as it would be, it only pushed the heat at one. She could feel her skin beneath the thinned coat begin to sweat in the sweltering heat. She sighed as she looked at the water, seeing pale horse in the water, standing there as there was relief in the water. She snorted as she begun to walk towards the water herself. Maybe it could help, though she held the proper precautions of the other. She nicked at him as she got to the edge of the water, choosing to warn him of her presence. She trended into the water, staying a respectable distance from the other. The water was cooling, relieving to her, though the sun still beat down on her back. She glanced over at the stallion with careful eyes as she decided to speak, with a slightly smile. "Hi." She said simply, not offering her name. If he honestly wanted to know he ask her of it.

Noticing the dun mare, an ear tilted forward, and nostrils flared gently. |
[/font] Hello,[/font] his deep tones danced upon the salty air, and he turned his body so that he faced her, the small plumes of frosty air escaping his nostrils as he breathed out. Watching her closely, he decided that he would come out of the shell that he had been in ever since he had left Aithne in the willow trees.[/font] The name is Revenant, what might yours be,[/font] a tilt of his head, and Revenant blinked. His introduction had changed since he had met the Zunden in the trees, but things needed to change from time to time, or it got boring.
The water tugged playfully at his tail, the strands flowing in small circlets, dancing around on the surface of the water. A gentle snort escaped the stallion, a few more ice shards appearing in the air, then evaporating with the heat.[/size][/font] one hundred eighty seven *

Raven keep going into the water, until the water started to come across her low point of her back, stopping there. The water cooled her down so much better the deeper in. But she knew she would be swimming soon if she went too much deeper. She glanced back at the stallion who she gave a simple hi to. He said hello back and announced his name as Revenant. She gave him a slightly smile back, even when she saw the odd poof of ice crystal form in the air before melting away. It only took a second for her to know he was a elemental horse or something to that effect. Automatically, she grew wary of him, though she wasn't one to be easily scared away, nor was she against horses for being different. Raven just grew warier around elementals and such since they held a power she couldn't use to defend herself. She was only a simple mare from a simple place far from the island. She watched him only for a moment before allowing her own introduction fall from her tongue. "I'm Crystal Raven. But you can use either of the two for short." She said quietly, loud enough to be heard over the waters own rush. She felt the waters' own current grab the ends on her heavy, long mane and her tail, pulling in different directions as she crystalline eyes turned back out to sea for a moment.
