Zeake: The young man sat in the meadow, appearing to be around 15-16. His black, thick hair was tousled by the soft, warm summer breeze. He sat there, his elbows resting on his knees. His pink eyes, which were a very odd color for the young boy, were watching the butterflies who floated gracefully in the air in front of him. The teenager's name was Zeake.
He smiled. He loved nature. The water was warm, everything was green and full of life.
The tanned teenager got up and watched the butterflies, who were still just calmly flying around, landing on flowers here and there. He watched quietly as one came and landed on his outstretched finger. The small creature made his smile warmly as he moved his hand slowly up into the air and let the butterfly back into the air.
Chrissy && Lynx: Get DOWN from there, Chrissy!" a ginger-haired woman yelled up into the tree, where a pretty brunette girl sat, around 14-15 years old. The girl grinned down at her mother, before climbing down the tree and landing on the ground gracefully.
Lynx gave a roll of her eyes. "C'mon, we don't have time for this today," she said, before turning to stalk off towards where their camp was set up.
Chrissy rolled her eyes, before turning to jog off deeper into the forest, her violet-and-green eyes glinting.
Polaris: The dark haired boy sat in a tree, observing a small herd of deer. He always found wildlife fascinating. Most the time he would come out to sketch the various animals, but today he was just relaxing.
He hated it when people were always telling him what to do, especially his mother and father. So what if they were the clan leaders? Lassan wasn't even his real father. He had never even met the bastard that WAS his father. Nor did he want to.
Polaris moved on the branch a bit so he could finish carving his name in the tough bark. Polaris. What a stupid name. It didn't make sense to name a human child that. Then again his mother's name was Venom so he couldn't complain much.
The boy let out a frustrated sigh at he dropped his knife into the brush below. The sudden noise cause the deer to run away from him. Great. he thought. Waited for them, then I scare them off. This day just couldn't get any worse.
Polaris hopped down from the tree and looked for his knife. His efforts did not pay off though. The boy kicked the base of the tree and went sulking off, only to come across his younger brother. "Zeake!" he called out as he jogged up to him.
Zeake: Zeake watched as the last of the butterflies fluttered off as his brother jogged up. Zeake sighed. "What is it, Polaris?" His pale pink eyes looking over his brother. He shifted his weight to his other foot. Sometimes people would mistake them for each other, and it never failed to push Zeake up the the very tip of the edge. He hated people always mistaking him for his brother. Why couldn't he be different from his brother? They were identical, well, except for their eyes. Zeake's were pale pink and Polaris's were pale purple.
Zeake's muscles tensed in his arms and his jaw tightened. He hated being mistaken for his brother. He was ALWAYS in his brother's shadow, although they had completely different perspectives and personalities.
He looked down, shook his head and released his grip. "Were you drawing again?" Zeake tilted his head as he asked his brother. He could never understand why someone would want to DRAW nature when they could just watch it and enjoy it normally. He never really did.
Chrissy: Chrissy continued moving through the trees quickly, feeling the cool earth on her bare feet, and listening to the calming sounds of the birds in the trees. Her mother took a favor in the ravens in the area, but Chrissy didn't know why.
They were loud, chatty and obnoxious. Chrissy paused when she heard voices suddenly somewhere up ahead.
There was a huge Clan living near by here, her mother had told her that. Her mom was apart of it once, but she broke off from it.
Eh oh well. The brunette girl blinked, and began walking closer to the voices, careful to walk as quietly as possible.
Polaris: Polaris gave his brother a lopsided smile and said "So what if I was?" Zeake had always given him the strangest looks for drawing what he was seeing rather than just enjoying. He was different so what? the world would be boring if everyone were the same.
"Actually," he began " I wasn't drawing. I was just watching some deer and I got m'name half carved in a tree somewhere over there. How 'bout you? Waht've you been doing Zeake?" he asked curiously. He always enjoyed spending time with his brother, even if they didn't always get along
Just then Polaris heard a sound in the bushses and gave Zeake a hand motion to stop talking. Putting his ifnger to his lips, Polaris skillfully flipped a large stick up from the ground into his hand. One could never be too careful around these parts.
"Whose there?!" he called out, ready to defend himself and his brother if need be. He quickly pushed the brush aside, only to reveal a chestnut haired girl a couple years younger than himself. A smile immeadiatly crossed his features. "Sorry 'bout that! Didn't mean t'scare ya. You never know what is lurking in the woods." It was a little odd that this girl was out here all by herself but he shrugged the thought off. "anyway, I am Polaris," and this, he said, motioning to his brother "is my younger brother Zeake."
