History:Lian was born with a loving mother,daughter of the top mare and stallion. Though the humans were soft and kind she had a great fear for them and hatred. Only her mother's soft words would calm her down. Lian was a quick-friend maker,always did the other foals want to play with her. Everything was fine until she could fend for herself. Lian's mother was very old and Lian was her last foal, so they came the morning she could fend for herself,dragging her mother away to the slaughter house. Her mother didn't fight,only said "Bye, my angel." as she was driven away. Lian reared and attacked the man that was holding her, she would've continued, but someone had grabbed a tranquilizer and shot her. Lian wasn't allowed food, until she was good, so she calmed down. She was a shy little thing then, but her confidence slowly grew. Finally, the humans shipped her off to Italy for more experienced trainers. Lian did get there, but refused to cooperate until they used force,the whip. They trained her like this, threatening to use the whip unless she did what they wanted. By the time she was 5 Lian had already won a couple of shows, and was continuing to win,until one day when Lian had her confidence back up. They were at a very important show, and the trainers were sure they were going to win until Lian reared and started trying to find a way out,bucking at the trainers. They took out out a whip and whipped her,with the judges seeing this they disqualified them. Her trainers continued to train her more then every until she was 6 and showed no cooperation, no matter how hard they whipped her. Disgusted, her trainers sent her back to America by water, and as many here have come the ship crashed.
Personality: Though in Lian's history she may seem rather evil, she as you would say is, "She's full of wisdom." From her experiences. She's rather calm and peaceful,glad to be away from the humans, but be she is quick tempered you see. One minute she'll be her peaceful self, and in a blink of an eye she's upon you. From her many years of enduring the beating of a whip she can endure most pain. Lian doesn't like being in her uncontrolled state, for she thinks her mother would be ashamed,so she tries to be alone to avoid it. She's often shy at first, but once she finds your alliance and status she'll slowly open up. One reason she's shy is she believes that the humans put the horses she meets out to find her. Lian takes things very seriously if you say you're going to do something she will believe you. When she finds out you're on her side, she will warm up to you right away. She never trusts stallions, afraid they will take her away to the "humans."
