It was like any time before. Hannibal walked into his lands, sensing the darkness around it. It felt as if it was grasping out to him, taking hold of his insides, and squeezing them, trying to take over his body again. Blue eyes looked around the trees that lead to the small meadow below the mountain, his ears flicking back slightly. The stallion sighed, as he moved through the trees, the shadows taunting him, whispering to him. Ever since Epona had banished the darkness within him, the voices that had plagued his mind had disappeared, leaving behind a lonely nothing. Flicking his ears back, Hannibal entered the meadow finally, the spring grass reaching up for the sky, wishing for the sun to shine down upon it. Breathing in deeply, he walked through the grass, listening to the sound of the creek nearby, now back at it's normal banks since the flooding had gone.
Despite these little details he picked up on, Hannibal noticed that not a single soul was found within the grassy meadow. Had someone, or something, come and taken them away? Flicking his ears back slightly, the stallion flared his nostrils. The painted stallion turned his head, wondering how far behind Tuula was. His mind had been plagued with Bolin's hostile nature toward him, but he wasn't exactly hurt by it. He had expected his son's angry reaction, it was nothing new. The stallion lowered his muzzle to the grasses, pulling a few out and chewing slowly.
From within the shadows of the trees, Aeon stood, the female hell-hound's fiery eyes glaring at her father. The mare could sense the change within her father, and it worried her. Did he grow soft, like her mother and the other Era were? Oh, how he hoped to Satan that wasn't the case. If he had, then she would have to kill him. Snorting faintly, she could sense that her mother had been with him, and they had been within Era lands. A faint growl erupted from her, and she stomped a hoof, waiting, watching, to see what would happen.
Lifting his muzzle from the grasses, the painted stallion looked to the sky, ears flicked forward. He was waiting for Spirit to appear, she usually did whenever he was here. It was as if she could sense him. Sighing faintly, he wondered what exactly he would say to her, and if she understood. He loved Spirit, but nothing could replicate what Tuula and him shared. four hundred eleven . hannibal [dark red], aeon [light blue] . breaking, linkin park . o: . (c) lizzeh 2011 .

S P I R I T .in the gentle breeze blowing through the land spirit had smelled something. not a something, a someone. a smile fell upon her maw. she manuvered through the thick forest toward the open meadow. hannibal had returned. she was always so happy at his return. it was lonely without him here. vodka had left her, to find a new home. she couldn't blame the girl, she was old enough to do whatever she wished. she couldn't help but miss her. she picked up her pace, and her heart followed suit. it too began pounding within her chest.
it wasn't till she got closer she sensed something. something seemed wrong, she didn't know what. but something just wasn't right. she knew it. there was another strangely familiar scent. she'd known it before, she just couldn't put a face to it. she pressed on until she could see the light from the clearing. she stepped out and looked around. she was right. it wasn't right. she slowly approached hannibal. she reached her neck out to touch his neck softly, but quickly withdrew before making contact.
' hannibal.. ' she said softly. ' what's going on? ' her eyes looked up into his. she loved him. she loved him so much. she took a step away from him, her heart was already breaking. she knew him too well, she knew everything wasn't alright. she looked to the ground, and focused her eyes there.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,489,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=black]Tuula had decided to follow a little further behind Hannibal as they entered Felwood. The mare knew she was likely to be greeted with hostility here as she had been in her own homelands. A deep sigh escaped the elder ivory as she thought back about what had gone down earlier that day. It broke her heart that she was now an enemy to her own clan, but it was nothing that could not be mended with Hannibal’s love.
Hannibal now had to try and make amends with his own herd, and she certainly hoped it went better with them than it had with the Eras. And, yet, she could feel thins unease in the air – like something terrible was going to go down very soon.
It was reasonable that she should fret, for the other hell twin was close behind her mother’s form. Davi stalked in silence as her mother and father entered the lands, and the flames upon her neck and tail crackled furiously against the still air. Davi could sense the new goodness in her father’s heart, and the arrival of her mother into the territory unscathed at his flanks could only mean his heart had softened. It was unacceptable.
The speckled ivory never sensed her daughter as she was followed for the wind had betrayed her now. As she left the Era lands, never to return, it refuted her. She did not worry too much by the abandonment of her friend though. It would return to her; the wind could never hold a grudge against one of its children. Orpheus was proof enough of that.
The sight of Spirit unnerved the mare as she took hesitant steps into the clearing. She hated to hurt the mare as Marut had been hurt, but Hannibal was hers. She would fight for that right, but for now she watched the pair in a respectful silence.

Ears tilted forward slightly, and his blue eyes focused upon the mare who had spent the last few years by his side. Hannibal breathed out slowly, and closed his eyes. Words couldn't even be formed, his heart aching as he tried to think of what he had to say to Spirit. She knew something was wrong, something wasn't right. Flicking his ears back against his skull, Hannibal clenched his jaw, finally reopening his eyes. Spirit, you know that I love you...
[/font] his words drifted off into the unease, and he tried to think of what else to say,[/font] but, you also know that I love Tuula. Please know, that this isn't to hurt you. I have to mend my broken life, and it starts with Tuula. She... she's going to stay within Felwood, and we're going to work things out.[/font] The painted stallion shook his head ever so slightly, and took a step toward her, reaching out with his muzzle and placing it upon her neck gently. Breathing out, he felt as if he could just die right now. It hurt so much to say that he was leaving her, but she was a strong mare, she could handle it. At least, he hoped.
Nostrils quivered, as he nuzzled her neck, trying to reassure himself that this was the right thing to do. He would be losing Spirit, who was there since he had come back, and one of the first mares he had met upon the island. But, Tuula had been his mate, the mother of both sets of twins. Flicking his ears, he pulled away from Spirit, a deep saddness resting within his blue eyes. Hearing Tuula enter the meadow behind him, he glanced to her, and flicking his tail, motioning her closer to the pair. Looking back to Spirit, he half expected the same reaction as in the Era homelands.
From her shadowy hiding place, Aeon's ears flicked back in anger. So, her witch of a mother was here to stay. A sickly smile crossed her muzzle, and thoughts wandered through her head. How much had her father really changed? Enough to try to save both of them if Aeon attacked? The hell minion could sense that her father had no powers left, that whatever darkness that had be plaguing his heart had been destroyed. That was all fine with the dark mare. She would show her father just how much she had grown, and show her mother no mercy for not sticking up for her back in Era lands.[/font][/blockquote] four hundred thirty three . hannibal [dark red], aeon [light blue] . not alone, red . moldy cow . S P I R I T . This all seemed so surreal. she couldn't believe the words she heard coming from his mouth. it was like her heart was falling to pieces, tiny little pieces, ones that would be so hard to put back together. she couldn't be angry at either of them though. she loved hannibal too much, if this is what made him happy, then so be it. she nodded with a little smile. at least she knew he still cared for her. she sighed, trying to think of something. she was hurt beyond belief, but she knew he didn't mean it, or want it to be this way. she would be able to handle it with time. she felt him nuzzle her neck, and just for a moment things felt better. ' i understand.' she paused to think over her words. ' as long as you're happy, that's all i'll ever want for you. ' she did her best to smile as the mare entered the meadow.
she couldn't help but feel slightly bitter towards tuula. it was alot to take in right now. as the mare approached hannibal's side, spirit looked up at her ' hello tuula.. ' she made it sound as friendly as she possibly could under the circumstances. she looked back down to the ground. oh how she wanted to run back into the forest, lie down and just die. her whole life seemed to be flipped upside down.
she didn't want them to think she wasn't happy for them, she was. she also wished they would understand it was alot for her to grasp too. just like they needed some time to mend, she would also. it was like the pain hadn't hit her yet, she was numb. at this point she wasn't really sure what to say or do. whether to leave them to themselves, or stay. she breathed in deeply, and exhaled, her nostrils quivering.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,489,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=black] The mare took her queue and came to Hannibal’s side. Her eyes were sorrowful as she watched Spirit’s reaction. The countering mare held a strong composure, but Tuula could sense her pain. She said nothing of the matter, simply watching as the two interacted. Her gut churned and her heart throbbed as Hannibal nuzzled the mare. But, in spite of her jealousy, she understood how hard this was for both Spirit and Hannibal.
She finally spoke when Spirit acknowledged her presence. “Spirit,” she murmured, bowing her head slightly out of respect. A part of her itched to rest her crown against her mate’s crest, to take in his sweet scent and lip at his mane, but she remained still as to not upset the other. Tuula was surprised but glad that Spirit had taken this so well. She’d been so fearful that things would have gone as poorly as they had in the Era lands. She hadn’t been introduced to the rest of the herd, however. And, it was Davi and Aeon that she felt they must really worry about.
Davi fumed on the skirts of the clearing, out of sight of her reuniting family. The scene made her want to vomit, but a glint on the counter side of the forest caught her eye. Aeon was watching too. A sick little smirk creased her lips as she recognized her presence.

Blue eyes strayed away from the small gathering, to the forest, where he saw the faint flicker of flames which disappeared almost instantly. Great, Aeon's here. Means Davi isn't too far away either,
[/font] the stallion thought, and flicked his tail slowly behind his painted body. Focusing upon Spirit, the stallion tilted his ears back. Hannibal could sense the mare's sadness, and he frowned. Looking to Tuula, he nudged her cheek gently with his muzzle,[/font] Tuula. I am going to take a walk with Spirit, so we can talk things over. I shall be back soon.[/font] The Lead walked passed Spirit, heading for the treeline. Once he reached it, he turned his head, waiting for Spirit to follow after him.
His mind reeled, and he knew exactly what he was doing. Now, if Tuula would just understand if she ever found out. As he stood there, Aeon appeared before him, her eyes narrowed at her father.[/font] Why, hello there, father,[/font] the hell horse sneered at him, then moved on toward his mother. She would be civil, for now. S P I R I T .[/font][/size] Spirit had clearly understood what was going on, although she was numb to it all. It was like it had yet to fully hit her. She heard hannibal speak, and she came to. Now what, did he want to tell her something else, and break her heart? She didn't really think about it, she just walked towards him, nodding a respectful good-bye to tuula. She liked tuula, and she was happy for both her and hannibal. It was just hard on her, that was all. She watched as another mare approached, Aeon, she'd never done anything to harm her, so she wasn't concerned about why she was there. She reached the edge of the woods where hannibal had stopped and waited for her. She opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out. What could she really say. Did he want to ask her to leave? Maybe she was no longer wanted here. The usually positive mare, was having some doubts now. She finally managed to say something.. ' yes, hannibal? '
She was still plagued with all the negative things she thought he was going to say. How could it be anything good at this point? At times like these she wondered how she could ever love him, but, she still did. She couldn't understand how it was still possible. She sighed as she shifted her weight. She wasn't growing any younger, and now she was without a mate, she feared dying alone. She didn't even have her only daughter. And she failed to successfully birth the twins. She was beginning to learn just how hard life really was.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,489,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=black] When Hannibal wanted to speak with Spirit alone, the speckled ivory didn’t look entirely too pleased. She loved Hannibal and was protective of their newfound status, but there was still that fear that he might leave or betray her again. No matter the times she scolded herself for the thoughts, she couldn’t force them away. Forcing a quiet nod, the elder Era watched as her mate wandered away with another mare. However, fate gave her little time to mull over the matter.
Tuula’s two-toned orbs narrowed as she watched her daughter’s approach warily. Her voice was stiff and distant as she acknowledged the mare simply, “Aeon.” Tuula surveyed the surroundings to try and find Davi. The twin troublemakers were never too far from each other it seemed. And, as if on cue, Davi pulled herself from the shelter of the forest by only a few feet. She decided to go no further for the moment, lest she should lose her temper and hurt that pretty little ivory mare, mother.
Smoke streamed from her nares as she watched her mother’s short, drafty build shift with unease in their company. The fire upon her spine crackled with fury that their own mother would act so repulsed by them. “Oh, mother, you don’t look that happy to see us,” she hissed with a sick little smirk arching her kissers. “Too bad dear little Haize couldn’t be here for the reunion, eh?”
Tuula’s tiara rose quickly as eager eyes peered at Davi. “Davi, where is Haize? “ The young hellion’s words had her in fret that they had done something with her eldest daughter. Haize was so fragile, after all.
Blue orbs narrowed on her mother as she showed such concern for that pathetic little filly – her prized daughter. However, seeing her squirm, seeing anyone squirm, did produce a demented warmth to spark inside the mare. “Calm down. I’m sure she is just fine, mother... wherever she is.”

Flaring his nostrils as he saw Davi approach Tuula, the stallion wanted to turn around and chase the two off. But he knew Tuula could handle the two young mares if need be. Besides, he wanted to spend a little time with Spirit. Come, I don't want Tuula to hear,
[/font] his voice was a whisper in her ear, and he moved away from her, disappearing into the trees with a flick of his tail. Flaring his nostrils, something like excitement floated through him, and he wanted to share it with Spirit. The painted stallion could tell his former mate needed some cheering up, so perhaps what he was going to suggest to the mare would cheer her up.
Smirking as Aeon saw her sister approach Tuula, the hell-horse lifted her head slightly, flaming eyes crackling in the afternoon air. She hadn't seen Haize lately, but she had a feeling that Tuula's favorite daughter had been hanging around Joker, the big lug of a stallion who seemed to soften up before Hannibal had. Ears flicked, as Aeon suddenly looked away from her mother and twin, toward the mountain range. Eyes narrowed slightly, and she could've sworn something was off. Shaking her head, she looked back to Tuula.
Aeon had been the more silent one, while Davi did most of the talking. The two could practically tell what each other was thinking, anyways. It seemed as if whatever flowed through them helped them communicate telepathically.[/font][/blockquote] two hundred sixty six . hannibal [dark red], aeon [light blue] . monsoon, tokio hotel . o: . S P I R I T .[/font][/size] spirit was puzzled. he seemed happy about whatever it was. those vibes seemed to reach out, slightly lifting her spirits. maybe it really was something good. she nodded ever so slightly and followed carefully behind him. why wouldn't he want tuula to hear? she couldn't quite understand what was going on. she didn't ask questions though. her mind was too clouded to even guess what might be happening. with every step she started to feel a little bit better, her spirits rising a bit higher. it was nice to have this time alone with hannibal. she hoped tuula wouldn't be too upset with her leaving with him. she just wanted to be able to get along peaceably with the rest of her herd members.
they'd been walking for a little while now. definitely far enough from the meadow. no one would be able to hear them. spirit stopped and quietly spoke ' i think we're far enough from the meadow. ' she said as she halted. her heart raced, the seconds felt like minutes. she wondered what is was that hanni didn't want tuula to know. she figured she'd find out soon enough.

Hooves stopped the painted stallion from moving further within the trees, and Hannbal turned to look at Spirit. Blue eyes became extremely gentle, and he walked toward her, placing his muzzle along her neck, breathing out gently against her skin. One last time, Spirit. Tuula doesn't have to know, I just need you one more time,
[/font] his words were breathless, full of lust, and the stallion moved his muzzle from her neck to right behind her ear, rubbing it gently. It caused a tingly sensation to run throughout his body, and in what seemed like forever, he felt alive. Snorting softly, the stallion smiled, happy to be here right now with Spirit.
It had been a long time since him and Spirit had been intimate with each other, and even though they had talked about having another foal, it just hadn't happened. Perhaps that was when their relationship had really taken a bad turn, when Hannibal had been leaving the lands more and more, much like he had with Tuula. Hannibal couldn't be tied down for long, he was finally starting to realize that.
Even though he wanted Spirit, did she want him the same way? Did his touch send these shivers and sensations throughout her body, making her mind go wild? Ears danced atop the painted horse's head, and blue eyes looked at the mare, curious.[/blockquote] two hundred thirty seven . hannibal [dark red], aeon [light blue] . monsoon, tokio hotel . awlawd, horny hannibal . S P I R I T .[/font][/size] she couldn't believe what she was hearing. but at that moment she felt whole again. like things were better. she felt happy. they'd talked about another foal, but with hannibal here and there, it just never happened. she felt excitement pulse through her body. she loved him so much. she needed him right now, just as he needed her. ' One last time.. ' she murmured. she closed her eyes as she felt his warm touch. how she loved it, how she missed it, how she needed it. ' and i need you too. ' she whispered into his ear, while nuzzling his neck.
she felt butterflies in her stomach, she felt like nothing had ever changed. she still got those same amazing feelings. she knew she'd always love him. even after hearing all he had to say, she still needed and loved him. impossible. she continued to nibble at his neck, stuck in the moment. she knew it wouldn't last long, and she should enjoy every moment of it. at least if this was successful, she'd have a little piece of hannibal to care for, and that would help her get through all this.
in the back of her mind she thought of tuula. what whould she say if she knew? she wouldn't ever know, she couldn't. she knew this would hurt her, but she was too engulfed in the moment to really care. what would she do as she got farther along? it would be obvious. they's have to come up with a lie to cover this up. she knew hannibal must have had this planned out. she knew everyhting would be just fine.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,489,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=black] Davi could see her mother squirming as they lead her on about her favored daughter. A distraction upon the wind deterred her tormenting though. The painted mare turned her crown in the direction her father and the other mare, whose name she’d never taken the time to catch, had headed. The demon child smiled quite maliciously and the fire upon her spine crackled wildly. Her mood was only lifted as she spotted her mother’s attention turning in the very direction.
The wind remained still no longer and rustled mischievous rumors upon its gales. Shock overtook the mare at what she heard – whispers between Hannibal and Tuula. A hiss escaped her maw as the stallion spoke of betraying her after she had forgiven him and given up so much for him! Her worst fret had come true and while she still loved Hannibal, reluctant as she was to ever admit it now, the mare wasn’t going to sit back idly and let the stallion break her heart again and again or even worse let him think he had gotten away with this. Instead, she turned away from the group to leave Hannibal behind. She wasn’t sure immediately where she was going or if she would be back. She loved Hannibal, but not enough to let him continuously stab her in the heart.

Fiery eyes of Aeon watched as Tuula turned away, and a small smile crossed the young mare's maw. He's going to regret doing this,
[/font] the hell-horse muttered, then turned, heading off in a different direction of the forest than she knew Hannibal and Spirit were lurking. She didn't want to hear any of it, although, she probably would hear the argument between Hannibal and Tuula once everything was done.
Ears flicked on top of Hannibal's head, as Spirit spoke, and he let his smile stay plastered upon his muzzle. Running his muzzle along her neck, down to her shoulder, then to her back, he began giving her a gentle massage. It was his trademark, his massages. Another shiver quaked his body, and the stallion moved so he was behind the mare, still massaging Spirit's back. Glancing to her, he wondered if she was ready, as his massage moved to her hindquarters, his muzzle going in small circles.[/font][/blockquote] one sixty four . hannibal [dark red], aeon [light blue] . monsoon, tokio hotel . meck. not much muse for that post .
