[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,489,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=green] A loud snort escaped the mad roan as he made an abrupt awakening. Groggy green orbs peered about eagerly to only turn glum at the sights around him. The beautiful wonderland where he resided with its magical beings and odd formations would have delighted the normal equine, but for this one the beauty was not there. Without Alice, Wonderland seemed rather lackluster. Where, oh where, has that filly wandered off to now?
Nostrils flared and ears twisted about to catch any signs of his palomino companion. A white blur caught the corner of his eyes soon enough. A plump white rabbit went whizzing by uttering some nonsense about his tardiness – Hatter merely scoffed. And, then, it hit him!
Plunging to his feet, a loud whinny caught the air. March! March will know where that silly girl has gone! Surely, he will! Without a second thought, as most of his actions occurred, Hatter was racing off. It took him little time at all to find the pond where his friend normally resided.
“March! March! Ma-“ he was cut off by a flower being cast at his snout. Snorting away the pollen that clung to his nose, Hatter glanced down to see a scrawny brown hare twitching nervously at his feet.
“Stop yelling! So rude! Tea?”
Smiling from ear to ear, or as close as a horse could come to doing such, Hatter shook his head. “No, no tea now, March. Where is Alice?”
“Who?”
“Alice.”
“My name is March!”
A coarse laughter filled Hatter’s throat as he bowed his crown down to nudge the small rabbit. “No, no, no! Where is Alice?”
“Who?”
“March! St-“
“I’m right here! Are you feeling alright, Hatter? You! You need tea!” With that the fluffy brown rabbit raced off into the tall grasses near the pond.
Hatter pawed anxiously at the ground as his friend returned with a leaf in his hand with a flower atop. The flower was filled with a syrupy brow liquid and promptly offered to the stallion. Shaking his head, the roan replied, “I don’t want tea, March! Alice, Alice, where is Alice?”
“Rude! Rude, that is what you are since you started hanging with that – that palomino! Rude. She is rude, too, you know! Tea?”
“You have seen her! You have!” The stallion eager twirled in a circle, and his feet prancing happily in the dirt caused it to rise in a large cloud. “Achoo!” The stallion yelped in lieu of an actual sneeze. “Now, Alice, where is she?”
“Alice. Never heard of her,” the brown hare shrugged before narrowing his eyes at the now filthy roan. “Have you been dreaming those silly dreams, again?”
“THEY ARE NOT DREAMS!” His voice had become a harsh hiss and his eyes glowed a fiery hue before calming as quickly as he had angered. “Where is Alice, March? Silly girl, she always disappears like this!” He glanced down to see that his companion had dashed away, frightened by his previous display. “March? Hm, where did he go? Ah, I bet he went to get Alice!” Plopping his rump down, the stallion sat like a canine, awaiting the unlikely arrival of March and Alice. characters|| hatter word count|| 530 muse music|| britney spears ooc|| blergh. it is going to take me a little while to get back into his character. –facepalm-

The palomino mare broke into a trot as she swiftly moved through the grassy plains. where she was going, she did not have a clue. Why she was going, something told her to go this way in her heart. Alice had been wandering aimlessly since she arrived on this island. She kept trying to tell herself that this was all a dream and it would be over soon. She would wake back up on her farm to see the people who loved her. She was beginning to miss them. Sure it had been fun at first, but now she missed waking up every morning with smiling faces that would give her all the attention she wanted and take her for hacks through the woods. One day she told herself she would wake up from this dream. Until then she had to make the best of it.
Alice slowed her pace when she neared an almost familiar looking spot. She didn't know why this place was so familiar, for she had never been here before. Yet, somehow she felt like she belonged, that she was supposed to be here. As her eyes danced about she caught sight of another equine. He was familiar as well. What other horse would be sitting on his haunches like a dog? It had to be Hatter. Boy, her mind made up some strange things.
It was a only a few seconds until she was standing in front of the stallion. "Hatter!" she exclaimed with a smile. "I was beginning to think that there weren't any other horses around here. It's been so lonely that I was half convinced I was the only one in this dream." she said with a small nervous laugh. Her eyes then flicked down to the small rabbit. "and you, March right?" she asked the creature hoping that she had remembered his name correctly. The more she thought about it, the more Alice realised how interesting her mind really was. How many horses would be able to conjure something like this up? Not many, that she knew for a fact.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,489,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=green]March, who had emerged again after a few moments, shrieked as the mare spoke to him. As a result, he lunged back into the long grasses to hide. Hatter merely laughed at his flustered companion, forgetting already that he’d been the one to put the initial fright into the poor hare. “Oh my! March is skittish today! Must not have drunken enough tea! Or, maybe too much. Tea! Oh, Alice, would you like-“ suddenly stopping in mid-sentence, the stallion leapt to his feet.
Dancing around in a giddy circle around the palomino, the roan shrieked, “oh Alice! You are here! You are here and not there! You see, I had feared you were there and therefore couldn’t be here! But, my you are here! Alice!” Stopping abruptly in front of her, Hatter’s eyes grew wide and confused. “A dream? Wha-“
Glancing to the tall grasses, a wide smile came upon his lips. “Oh March! You put her up to this, yes? A dream! A dream! This is no dream. You silly girl. You silly hare!” As he spoke, the roan pounced around in the grasses, dipping his head down from time to time to try and spot his rabbit friend. He had no such luck though. “Must be getting more tea,” he mused as he waltzed out of the grasses and plopped down on his haunches beside Alice. “Alice! So good you are here and not there! Sit, sit! Tea?”
“Tea? She can’t have any tea!” The rabbit had appeared as suddenly as he had gone and was perched upon Hatter’s withers. The small hare peered bitterly at the mare. “Was she invited? I don’t think she was invited! Rude!”
“Oh, but, yes, March. You invited her. Invited her yourself! Invited her to tea, remember? “
“No, I do not! Hatter you should stop dreaming those terrible dreams and hanging with this rude girl! You are becoming rude! Tea?” Hatter merely nodded to his companions query before the small hare turned to Alice. “Tea, dear?” He seemed to have forgotten all about his previous rant. Hopping down from Hatter’s back, March did not wait for the mare to respond. He disappeared into his grasses, emerging moments later with a plate made of a leaf with a flower-cup atop. Inside the flowers were the same brown syrup that the hare had presented to Hatter moments before.
The moment the hare had placed the tea cups down before each member and taken his own seat, Hatter shrieked again, “change places!” Leaping to his hoofs, the roan scrambled to where the hare had previously sat. March hopped over to attempt and take Alice’s spot but rather managed to run smack into the seat filly.
“AH! My seat! You mus- rude girl, my seat!” the rabbit began pushing at her insistently as he rambled. characters|| hatter march word count|| 470 muse music|| almost alice soundtrack ooc|| duuuur. o-o?

It was safe to say that Hatter's shriek caused Alice to jump back a bit. She was not expecting that. Of course should she really be expecting anything with this odd couple? She decided that she needed to do something about these strange dreams. One should not have images running through their heads like this. It was all just too strange. Her mother always said she had an overactive imagination. Perhaps she should start believing her.
What was with Hatter and tea? Horses and rabbits do not drink tea. Alice knew this for a fact. They drank water. Well at least horses did, for she knew very little about rabbits. When Hatter mentioned that March was skittish, she could see why. Put a little hare with Hatter all day and you'd be lucky it didn't somehow turn up dead. Would I like what?! She thought as Hatter cut himself off again by announcing to the world that she was here.
"Yes, I am here." she said calmly as she closed her eyes and exhaled. And I wish I wasn't. she thought. She wanted to get out of this dream, far away from here. It wasn't that she didn't like the land, or the horse (and hare) she had met here, she was just missing her old home and the people and horses there that loved her.
"This has to be a dream. Nothing like this could be real." she explained with a small smile, thinking that he would understand. "I know my own mind and I would create such characters as I have met here. I mean you all are very pleasant, but I just don't see how anything could be real Hatter. I really don't. It just doesn't make any sense." The roan kept running around looking for his rabbit friend as Alice spoke to him. Half the time she wondered if he even heard everything she said, not that it mattered.
Sit? For tea? Alice had never once sat in her life. Horses were just not supposed to sit down. She didn't want to be rude and offend her two friends as she could call them, but sitting was just a ridiculous thing for a horse to be doing! Neverthe less, she daintily sat on her haunches as she tried to keep her balance. Well, this was awkward.
The palomino remained silent as the two ranted back and forth about her. And tea. Always the damn tea. After a few minutes March asked her if she wanted tea. Why not play along? "Yes please." she answered the rabbit with a smile. All of the sudden Hatter decided it would be a good idea to have everyone change places. Before Alice knew what was going on, she felt March's tiny paws pushing on her hindquarters. "Sorry." she muttered before scrambling to her feet and shuffling sideways a bit before standing there looking at the chaos in front of her eyes. Something was really wrong with her mind.
