History: minka grew up a normal life. she wasn't an heiress nor a slave. she was foal to two regular members of the herd. she played as the other foals did, everything was normal. about two years old there was a war going on. her father became a warrior, a battle took place in which her father, and a few others, lost their lives. her mother was devastated, she quickly spiraled into depression. for close to two more years she care for her mother, trying, hoping, praying she'd get over it. eventually, she just willed herself to die. minka hung around to watch her mothers remains be 'buried' before she decided to leave. she didn't want to stay in the very land which both her parents died. minka was almost four by this time, and she was so traumatized by the death of her parents, she left. she was bitter toward the opposing army at first. now she's gone a step farther. she's bitter towards everyone. she's been wandering around for about two months, and she's finally wandered into isola. she doesn't care whether she lives or dies. she doesn't have anything to lose. she only tries to make others as miserable as she, misery does love company.
Personality: minka means strong, her mother must have known she'd need strength for the hard life she had. she really isn't the horse you see now. she used to be kind, gentle, and always put others first. she was talkative, outgoing, and fun to be around. now, she's a rebel with a cause. what cause? to make everyone else feel miserable. to feel the pain she's experienced for so long. she constantly bitches at people for anything, she does what ever she sees fit. she just lives in the moment. she shoves her old self aside, along with the pain. she's very strong-willed, and stubborn, whatever she puts her mind to, she does. that's why this rebel side of her has taken over. it's what she wants. really, what she wants is someone to love her, someone to take this pain away. she wants to be the strong, kind, helpful person she once was. she wants to channel this energy into something worth while instead of wreaking havoc. as of now though, she really is a miserable creature to anyone who crosses her path. if only they knew the burdens she carries. and yes, she does feel bad for herself, and pities herself. she's just a bit lost.
