[/color]'What does Konjou mean?'[/font]
The word Konjou stems from the Japanese word meaning Spirit. The Konjou breed is the Spirit Elemental of the Isola Dei Dei.

Animus Elegancia
'The grasslands stretch endlessly without breaking, fog settled into the air as though to give truth to apparitions. The winds blow without ceasing, the air alive with rustling. This unbroken sea of grass comes past the legs of a grown stag, pale and soft, snow-brushed. All is cold with the memory of forgotten spring, having succumbed to an endless winter. Willow trees with laden branches bow to still springs, their mirror waters shimmering with fortune. A single waterfall, imposing, casts its mist and shadow at the edge of the lands, a guardian. All is silent here, all is still. A testament to the spirits who inhabit this land, the Konjou watch.'
Breed History
A short time after the rise of the Fire Herd on the isles, the leader of the Konjou, Cathaldus, decided to rally his ranks at the urging of the Wisdom Lord, Greymarch. They marched off to war and where slaughtered. They were driven to the brink of extinction, Cathaldus also perishing in the fight. Though the Chikao, the Wisdom herd, had entered the fight, their lead, Greymarch, had not. This set poison between the two herds.

Personality
Like most Elementals, there is a wide range and scope that personalities may cover, though they tend to lean on the light rather than the dark, though neutral is a characteristic used to describe the breed as a whole. Thus being neutrals, there are some horses more in touch with their dark side, others with their light, and some stuck in the gray area between.
Fighting Styles
Spirit horses fight easily and skillfully, very tactful and sly in their plans, using all resources as well as generally thinking things through quite well.
Powers
* The ability to see as well as tangibly sense a horse's aura, or their inner spirit.
* The ability to communicate with the deceased, or spirits of other creatures.
*Can intrude into another horse's dreams, with or without making themselves noticed and stay until the horse wakes. [The horse must be alive. Mortal or Elemental]
*Can drain energy from other horses to use for themselves, or may pass the energy to another. [The more experienced the horse, the more gifted they become in this area]
*May befriend spirits. [Some horses will have a certain spirit to guide them]
*Can see the future, though it is unclear.

Build
The Konjou Breed is usually quite delicate, taking after the Arabian in most aspects of their physical appearance. They are dainty, looking quite fragile, though they are usually quite toned without much to spare for extra weight. They are light creatures, making them seem closer to spirits themselves than anything ground-based.
Coat Colors
Coat colors are ones that commonly occur in nature, such as blacks, bays, perlino, cremello, chamange, roan, dun, buckskin, browns, greys, ex. Very rarely does a coat color stray from natural boundaries.
[Specify Coat color]
Markings
Most markings are usually abnormal in shape, though natural marking can occur. They usually appear in dazzling and unusual color, though only the leads or other high-ranking member so of the herd portray rainbow-esque markings, such as any incadenscent pearls. Ripple patterns may portray one strand of lineage while stars may show another. Two horses who have similar markings more likely than not are related somehow.
