History: Misery was born to a neutral mother who had been force breed by a dark stallion in the deep of night. His mother, who was a bit more to the good side, was very upset by this and named the colt Misery. She raised the gruesomely marked foal and chased him off after he was weaned. From then on he wandered in the night, looking for the father who had cursed him. He did end up finding his dad, and now at the age of four, his father asking him to join his dark band, till he could start one of his own. His father taught him to fight, and he fights well. He learned to sharpen his hooves on stones and where to strike rivals where it would hurt most. His father was proud of him and gave him the second part of his name, Demon. The newly dubbed Misery's Demon broke off from the herd, shortly after his father was killed by a rival. He wandered on his own, fighting the weaker until an old stallion made him open his eyes. Just after he had ended the stallion's life, the blood on his hooves suddenly sickened him. He wore off the sharp edges of his hooves and now wanders as a loner, upset by his former life, unsure to turn to the darkness the beckons or be shunned from the light that hated him.
Personality: Misery's personality is very messed up. He is bi-polar, though he denys it with everything thats in him. On the one side, he is a reserved, cautious stallion, wanting to stay away from conflict and not spill blood. This side of him wishes for a herd that accepts him and a mate that can love him for who he is and not hold back from him for what he has done. He mourns for his mother's grief and wishes to find her and apologize. He wants to try and right the wrongs that he has done and help where he can. He loves foals, but is never allowed close to them due to his reputation that stalks him in his shadow. On the other hand, his DARK side is malicious and evil. It longs for torment and blood to spatter the ground. It wants to cause suffering and lives on the misery of others. It is impulsive and cruel, happy to inflict pain just for the fun of it. This side only really comes out when someone pushes his temper to it's limits. His mind and control just snap and he goes into a blood lust. He has learned to control it, but if anyone pushes his, it will be there, waiting just below the surface.
