The ocean and beach are a wonderfull thing dont you think? The nice cold water of the ocean meets the nice warmth of the sand. During this time Cane is there are the beach. Most of the time she enjoys being alone and loves to jump around, and splash in the water. But Cane does not like when others are watching her, so as she walked down the beach, she looked around. Making sure that she was alone, Cane squinted out to the ocean as the sun started to rise over the horizen.
Smiling, the little white fourm started to walk to the waters edge. Laughing and giggling, Cane jumped in the water. To her, this calmed her, and to her the water was where she was suppose to be. Mabey this is the resson Cane spent most of her time here on the beach, or by any bodies of water. As Cane splashed around, and stamped in the water, the sun started to rise. The briliant red, pink, and purple colors bounced off of the surounding clouds. This beautifu array of light made the area have sort of a pink color, and when Canes coat was hit, the water on her shimmered. The water around the horizen glew with the color. Giggling, Cane continued to stamp and splash in the water. Little did she know someone was watching, and after the insodent with Jigsaw, Cane was a little jitery.

The hued essa walked on the sand, hooves sloshing in and out of it like mud. Each step was rather difficult, and sometimes it made a funny pop! noise as the suction let go. Cernah looked down on the ground with a smile, reveling on the warmth in the air. She could smell the salt, taste it almost. The vixen was getting closer to the tide. Once there, she stepped slowly into it, letting a shiver run up her spine.
Cernah gradually sided into the aquamarine liquid, her coat darkening as it hit moisture. She stopped when the water was above her knobby knees. Above many things, she adored water. The mass of water swayed her body, tiny in comparison. It could tug her at any time, pull her off balance and into the razor sharp reefs beyond. The beauty was that it never did. She sighed and looked down the shoreline, watching seagulls peck at dead fish and debris. Her eyes wandered farther, then stopped abruptly on an ivory figure a ways off. All she could tell was that the thing was small, and that was good enough for her. Cernah was fairly petite herself, and didn't want to attract any unwanted visitors.
She pushed out of the water and trotted through the sand towards the equine. Soon she broke into a canter, loving how the fresh, crisp, wind ran inbetween her mane. As she drew nearer the essa slowed, bowing her head slightly to show some sort of truce. Looking up, she smiled sweetly, speaking. "Why, hello there!"

Cane
It was a nice warm spring morning, at least it was more warm than it had been recently. As the chilly air nipped at Canes rump, she neighed. If you were to watch how Cane was splashing and prancing in the water, you woud think that she was in a horse show, but this movement just came natural to her. It was like the water was calling her to dance, and lose her self for once.
Lost in her thoughts, Cane slowed the playfull jumping, and stood there watching the sun set. She never really had stoped for a long time to watch the sun rise. Doing this now, she relized how beautiful the sky and sun were. But this did not last long, as flash backs came into her head. Flash backs of her past, of her father, and of her mother. Flash backs she wished she could get rid of.
The rushing body of my father rushing at me, all I saw were angry eyes. And I knew at that moment that I needed to get out of there, that I needed to run. But when I tried, it was like my legs were glued in place. They were of no use to me. As I stood there, I closed my blue eyes that had no emotion in them, waiting for the hard blow from my fathers hove. As he came up to me, he reared, and nailed me on my back, hitting me to the floor, and knocking me out.
The flash back would have continued if it were not for that sweet voice that saved her from her hunting memory. That voice belonged to a mare. This mare looked nice, Cane decided as she looked at her. "H-hello." She replied, still having problems with her stuttering.

When Cernah approached the ungulate, it was fairly obvious where her gender sided. You could simply tell by the bones in her face. She had a strange expression, though. Her eyes were vague and somewhere else entirely. Cer wondered what she was thinking about, but gently brushed it off as she had spoken. The blue roan flicked her tassels and listened to the essa's hesitant answer. Had she done anything wrong to come off intimidating? She lightly shook her head, knowing she most definitely had not.
Cer took a slow step forward and smiled big and wide as to help comfort the mare. "My name is Cernah. What is your label? And how do you do?" She took a breath, knowing she had said a bit of a mouthful for introductions. No matter! She was being friendly. If she was in good fortune today, maybe this little vix would become a new friend. Cer no longer had a lot of those... not one, to be frank. After her old Lord had been lost in the mighty blizzard, the rest of the herd simply melted away. Sometimes it brought tears to the femmora's eyes, but she had decided long ago that it was not worth holding onto bad memories. The problem was, they never loosened their grip on her heart or mind.
