NAME Nitika (Angel of precious stone)
AGE 4 1/2 winters
SPECIES Equine
BREED ArabXLipizzaner
GENDER Mare
AFFILIATIONLoner
OVERALL APPEARANCE
Standing at 15'6 hands, Nitika is a breath-taking beauty. From the Arab side, she inherited the delicted curved neck and slightly dished face. Her build and muscluar tone resides to Lipizzaner side. Rather strong within her forelegs and well-sprung barrel. Her mane and whipecord were also inherited from the Lipizzaner, having become long flowing, and silky to the touch. Light black feathers adorn her sharply curved hooves. Her ears were short, lightly curved at the tip like that of an Arab's. One could tell her bodice was built for long runs, speed, and being able to go for a long time without water.
The God's Paint Desire
Now she had unusual, though fascinating, coloration. Her frame held a gentle dunxbuckskinxdapple spotting mixture. The dapple spots seemed to only appear upon her back line and partial of her rump. The dark dun strip started from her shoulder and to the beginning of her tail. Though she held that dark, black stockings on all fours, and rich tan/cream colloration like the buckskin. Though, something was out of place. Eagle feathers were tied into the forelocks of her mane, a braided beed strand resided to on side of her face that held deep red colorations. Feathers also were weaved in with strands of her whip-cord. How she got this was only of her knowing. Her mane and whipcord were black, though when slowly traveling out they faded to a brighter grey. If one were to look closey, they would see a faint hand-print upon her the lower left of her rump. Perhaps this would tell those how the feathers came to be within her mane and tail.
Eyes of Spirit
Alas the eyes. Stunning, deep..Mesmerizing. Her left eye consisted of a seductive chocolate brown, whist the right was the same though held an ice blue ring around the pupil. Though it was neat to see, that didn't mean it was perfect. With beauty comes flaws, yes? Well this was her one flaw. The eye that held the blue was the eye she couldn't see well out of. Thus her vision is not top notch like others. She could see things off about 300 yards away, though when it starts to go on after that, her vision would become hazy due to her right eye. Though this did not stop her or bring down her spirit of adventure.

PERSONALITY
* Midnight strole upon the sands near the ocean. Not caring who is by her, though she enjoys the company. Being able to share memories or just go star gazing.
* The Night's Symphony of crickets, birds, and frogs. Being able to just listen and not have to worry of any threat or horrible thing that resides in the night.
* Helping out any that needs her assistance. She is very caring and has, what some would say, a heart big enough for the world.
* Telling stories of how she came to the islans and her recent life style with the Native American group, the Apache's. How she was a trusty mount that never let her rider down and how they set her free for the believed a horse would never be broken in spirit and should always be free to roam.
* Being able to walk alongside a stallion (If any captured her heart) and speaking softly to one another as if they have known each other for years.
* Adventure: Being able to run and seek out the unknown. Going through trials of danger and peace. Finding places that have yet to be travled upon.
DISLIKES
* Judgemental: Though you may be a herd leader, that doesn't make you better than her. She is a strong fighter and has taken care of herself all these years without help, let alone caring for other stragglers and loners that wander the lands. So dare you judge her before you get to know her, you are missing out on something worthwhile.
* Lie: Whether it be a white lie or a lie, lies are all the same. Cousing broken hearts and anger, outrage to where it can lead to death. One would be better off speaking the truth that to hand their snake tongue behind their teeth and lie.
* Childish behavoir: I want this, I want that.. Don't expect Nitika to do EVERYTHING for you. Just because she is caring and willing to help..That doesn't mean make her the slave. This is something she will not stand for.
PERSONALITY[/u]
There was a reason as to why the Native's gave her the name Nitika. It meant 'Angel made of precious stone'. The other horses she met told her it was a rare name that was never usually give to a horse by the humans. Indeed she had the heart and soul that was very caring though strong spirited. She took in so many to help them get back on their hooves. Even though in return she got nothing a lot of the time.
Nitika is one equines could turn to and trust. Her loyalty stands only to herself unless you give her reason or do something that would make her give it to you. She will travel from herd to herd, helping those in need, or just going on her way when the herd didn't need anything..Or just pushed her away. Never once did all the harsh manners bring her down into depression. She stayed strong and was able to keep going with her head held high. No doubt she would be a grand lead mare some day.[/ul]
