[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][bg=000000] A little bit of naughty is a little bit nice – She's a whole lot of glam, sweat, sugar, sex, spice.
The Navita’s amber eyes ran their gaze over the burnt, ashy landscape that covered most of the sight before her. She hadn’t been here before – she’d been quite smart in staying away while she was a foal. However, curiosity had finally won the war and she went along to do its bidding. She’d snuck through the territory borders with ease – simply bulldozing her way past them faster than anything could notice the approaching mare. Devil had always been attracted to it in a way – mostly because of the pretty little decorations it had around its name, the adjetives used to describe it.. Dangerous, fiery, don’t go in if you value your life. The words of past horses echoed in her head as she walked in, her hooves touching the ground with the lightness of a feather, hardly shifting the ash as she went along. The lightning streak-like mark on her leg was present, but it wasn’t incandescent – she hadn’t bothered to attract attention to herself. She wanted to see as much as she could before the rumored fire horses chased her back home. Ebony nostrils flared quietly as the mare grew closer to the river, turning her attention to where she’d come from. Yes, she could make a sprint back – however, she doubted she would. Devil wasn’t a coward – she was a troublemaker. Her ears suddenly shot forward as a nearby sound reached her, the sound of the ground cracking. She moved back quickly, whipping her tail in the air as if to protest the sight. A small bit of the ground had shifted up, tearing apart – though only for a few inches – to spew out some molten lava. She stared at the sight in awe, entranced as the glowing liquid slowly dulled, turning smooth and black as the time passed by. She drew closer, though still keeping her distance. Heat still radiated from the spot, which was enough to cause the mare to keep moving, edging away at first then forgetting entirely about it. She snorted, lifting her head to look around again. God, it looked rather dreary here – it was darker than the other parts of the island. Well, it wasn’t darker than the Arrat territory, but it was still dim, lit by flames, lava, and a strange, distant glow. Though, something about it still stirred the female’s curiosity – perhaps it was the energy that surged in the magma, which was practically oozing out of the ground in some places. She didn’t really know, or care, for that matter; she just wanted to explore.

The stallion lifted his head as he heard a phoenix call out for him. His maroon optics traced the flight path of the great bird as it gracefully landed in front of him. He lifted his brow expectantly as he waited for the bird to tell him the information that it seemed to have acquired. Finally the fiery bird said that there was an intruder in the land. Aiden stared at the animal for a moment before galloping off in the direction where it said this intruder was.
It took him mere minutes to reach his intended destination. His pace quickly slowed as he saw a strange mare in the distance. He lifted his head and let out a warning whinny as sparks flew off his cantering hooves. Perhaps he could have some fun today. His last battle had ended badly due to his idiot of a daughter. Now that he was alone, he would go for the kill this time. He hadn't killed in a while, just merely maimed his opponents to instill fear into the hearts of the rest of the horses on the island. which had been a good idea since it seemed to be working so far.
"You!" he called out as he neared her. "Do you know where you are mare?" he hissed as he slid to a stop, a malicious gleam in his dark optics. He had to refrain from smiling a sadistic grin when the thought of burning her pretty little body crossed his mind.

The mare’s attention was quickly drawn away from the glowing embers, her eyes shifting to the fiery figure that had whinnied in the distance. She hardly moved a muscle, watching calmly as the stallion neared. The hostility in his eyes was great – he was certainly a dark. No – he was certainly Zunden. The mare snorted at the thought, flaring her nostrils lightly and shaking away the thought. Yes, I know very well where I am, and I know who you are, as well. You are a fishmonger. She smiled, giving a defiant flick of her tail, and causing it to make a faint, whip-like sound. Oh, Devil was here for fun. Would he know what a fishmonger was? Ha! She didn’t care – should he not, it was a hidden insult that he’d simply have to ponder about later. The only worry on her mind at the moment was that she’d end up being fried for dinner, or something – but, she could take him on. Maybe she didn’t have fire, like the malicious stallion in front of her, but she could do her fair share of ‘frying’ A sinister twinkle of mischief sparkled in the mare’s eyes, though she quickly suppressed it so that she wouldn’t give away her true intentions. Tossing her mane lightly, she freed some of the locks that had stuck to her neck from the sweat – probably the only downside to fire. Other than the heat, she quite liked it, specially the dancing glow. ..Speaking of glowing things. The mare’s expressions froze, awe washing over her face for a few seconds as she stared past the stallion. There’s something behind you.. She spoke, wielding the skills of a true actress to help her play the shock off as real. Meanwhile, she focused her attention on the space behind the stallion, making intricate swirls of bright lights, almost as if she was creating a miniature version of the Aurora Borealis. She could only wonder how the stallion would react – he’d probably think it the trickery of the Arrats, or something. But no, no night horse was present here.

Aiden cast the mare a very strange glance at her choice of words. He was not a fishmonger but whatever the mare wanted to believe she could, it didn't hurt him any. Any talk of him was good, and if mental creatures like this one instigated that he ran a brothel, then good for them, let them believe it. So instead of bothering to say anything about the madness she sputter, he just smiled at her with a sadistic look on his face. "If you say I am, then, yes, I am."
Aiden kept his head high as he approached the mare. What was she doing here? She had walked into a something she would regret ever doing later on. The mare then said that there was something behind him. Aiden huffed at the unlikely notion. Even if there was, he did not care, it was most likely something that was welcomed in his land or some form of trickery the mare was trying to perform.
The fire lord then caused a circle of flame to encompass them. "I think there is something behind you as well." he mentioned in a dangerously calm voice as the flames grew even hotter and higher than they already were for emphasis on his words.

Devil simply smiled at the stallion, though she wanted to scowl at the non-response she’d gotten from him – damn it, she was hoping for a snap or some kind of sign that he’d taken insult. Nevertheless, she was met with merely a strange glance, and so she shrugged off the incident as an awkward moment. Her eyes rolled slightly at his words, apathy clouding her face for a few seconds, but she quickly started paying attention again as he approached her. The uneasiness in the air grew, causing her to flick her tail with anxiousness. Lifting her head, the mare’s ears perked forwards in an alert manner. Her eyes followed the stallion yet again, a small laugh wishing to escape as he refused to look behind him. She could have turned that against him – she could have made the lights electric – but she stayed put, dissolving them into thin air as if they’d never existed. She’d use her tricks later, if he’d give her the time of day to fall for them. However, any childish antics were cut short as the flames rose and grew dangerously near, his comment sending her head flicking aside so she could look. Drat! That little fiend, he was playing tricks with her as well – however, his were of a more cruel nature. She flashed her head back to look at him, her eyes narrowing as she mentally lifted him off the ground – though only by about a foot. Turn it down or I’ll fry you faster than you can speak. She hissed, the lights coming back out from the toy box, though this time looming dangerously close, and giving off a low sizzle, as if the energy was protesting the slightest humidity in the air. They were electric this time. However, she quickly snapped back to her civility, drawing in a deep breath and setting the stallion back down. The lights dissolved shortly after, though the lightning streak on her leg had begun giving off a dim glow. I’m the lady of the Navitas. It’s a long-forgotten breed that most believe to be extinct because we can look like normal horses – we rule energy, the very thing that makes lightning; it’s also the real source behind heat, if you want to get all scientific. Point is, I’ve heard of you, Zunden – and I like what I hear, so I’m offering my alliance, if you’ll take it. But know this – I will not be crossed. She spoke, hoping to communicate the degree of aid she believed she could give him. Everyone Aiden was at war with was expecting fire, they were expecting flames and heat and sparks.. They weren’t expecting what she had to offer. The Arabian-like mare’s thoughts drifted off shortly, though her gaze remained on Aiden’s eyes. What would Joker do? Would Hannibal exile her for making a pact with the fire lord? If he did, she’d figure a way around his words to meet with the young stallion. What she couldn’t help but wonder was whether or not Aiden would take her offer. You in? She asked, flicking her tail once more. The white streak on her leg had turned incandescent, glowing brightly against the chestnut’s brown coat. Her entire physique was lit up – partly because of the fire, and the portable light-bulb she had on her leg.

Aiden merely scoffed at the mare's warning. Who did she think she was telling him what to do? Yes, she may have the upper hand with other stallions, but not him. She really was in dangerous territory. Playing with fire was not merely an expression in this case. This fae truly was playing with fire, and she was about to get burned if she didn't watch her moves, and mouth, more carefully.
Obviously she was an elemental from that little display of power, but it would take much more to scare Aiden. He knew how weak these other horses were and he wasn't afraid to use it to his advantage. "Oh calm down." he said as he let the flame go a bit smaller before flaring it up a couple times. He finally let it die down, realising the mare had now come here for reasons other than stupidity.
Suddenly, Aiden was off the ground. His eyes grew to an unnatural size before they went back to an angry state as he caused flame to circle around, so close that if he merely thought it, her flesh would be bubbling from the heat. She quickly set him down. Aiden did not give her any leniency in the trust department, not that he did anyway.
She quickly made it known why she was really here. It all made sense now. "Mare, if I were you, I would be more afraid of this herd than of you." he noted, looking her up and down. Her proposal of an alliance sounded pretty good to him. Of course, if he did, he would have to have the upper hand. He would align, but when the Zunden took over they would still be supreme rulers of the land. He would grant this herd districts to rule, but they would still be under the authority of the Zunden.
"Alright, I'm listening now." he told her. "Now let's say that I say no to this alliance. Care to humour me as to what would happen? Or if I was to say yes perhaps?" he inquired, hoping for an intelligent answer that would persuade him to make a choice.

The Navita’s amber eyes watched the stallion’s expressions carefully, her tail swaying about her ankles as the soft, warm breeze brushed past the two. Her nostrils flared as he bid her to calm down – calm down? She was in the heart of the land of fire, he could burn her to ashes and hardly a soul would know, except some of the eagles whose allegiance belonged to the horse in front of her as well. There was no room for calming down, but she found it in her abilities to regain the composure in her expressions and her anger. She glanced back at the flames, giving a quiet snort in protest of their heat before she turned her attention back to the him. The dark, malicious aura that he had when he’d first approached her still remained, though it wasn’t as crazy – now, it seemed to be more of his casual personality. She stepped away from the flames behind her, getting a bit of safe distance between her body and the burning heat. Nodding to his words, she hardly found the grounds to disagree with his statement. Though she might have had the strength in her body to strike several of his followers with enough power to kill them, she was still growing accustomed to the wide range of abilities she’d acquired – and she definitely wasn’t up for taking on his entire herd of fireballs and expecting to get away unscathed.
What would it be like to be in alliance with him? His herd was rather large – it was powerful, hated, and feared. The impending war would bring out the best and worst of both sides, but, in the end, they would win – there was no denying that. It was then that he asked her what she would do if he agreed to her offer, or if he denied it. Quite frankly, she hadn’t thought of the topic much, but she was a quick thinker, with an even quicker tongue. If you say no, then I’ll simply leave and you won’t see the likes of me again, whether or not you win the war. I’ll fade into the background. She responded. She’d probably end up simply being a part of Hannibal’s herd – she was practically in it now, though she ventured off for weeks and months at a time. It was who she was – now you see her, now you don’t. Should you accept, then you’ll have my unconditional loyalty. Call me and I’ll come, regardless of what you seek – I’m sure I could help you take out your enemies with a more subtle approach. After all, no one’s exactly expecting this.. At the last word, the mare turned her head to look away, her eyes seeking out and finally locking on the distant shape of a horse – one that was beyond the border of his lands, and therefore wasn’t part of the herd. Without further adieu, a large, white bolt of electricity ripped through the sky, striking the figure and sending it collapsing to the ground. There’d been neither a storm cloud nor the sound of thunder – it’d simply been a streak of light, and the any life in the thing was gone. The body didn’t even smoke or sizzle – it simply lay there motionless, a silent kill. Should she have wanted to play it off as a natural death, there could have been thunder, there could have been smoke and sizzling flesh to go along with it, but she decided to keep it simple, at least this time.

The Fire Lord remained silent as he contemplated the mare's words. So if he decided not to align with her group, they would just be ghosts, he would not even know they were there, a neutral herd that could care less what would happen. He could live with that. If he decided no, he would leave them be as almost a prize for this mare's bravery of coming in here alone. He certainly gave her credit for that. Any sane horse would never set a foot in this land, even if they did have good reason. That had to say something about this mare and her breed.
If he said yes, he assumed their relationship would be like that with the eagles and the phoenixes. They would be there and the Zunden would show kindness to them. They would allow them access to their lands without question. Aiden was glad that the mare offered her immediate help when ever he called for it. All in all, this sounded like a very good deal.
"Give me a moment to think it over mare." he said as his brow furrowed a bit. there was a nagging in his mind that they wanted to align with him just to gain the Zunden's trust, then turn on them in the end. Aiden would have to keep a very close eye on that.
After several minutes of mulling it over, Aiden finally had a verdict in the matter. "Alright, we will align with you." he simply said. "In this alliance I would like you to know what we will offer you." he told her, since she had already made clear what she would offer them. "You may come and go in this land as you please, no questions asked. My herd members will leave you alone. If aid is needed, I will send you a couple herd members. I also ask that you accept eagles into your land. They are our strongest allies and best means of communication, not to mention they are very good spies. They would be very beneficial for you to take in." he told her. "So I say yes to this. Are you still in?"

Devil watched his expressions carefully, standing calmly as he seemed to think it over, weighing the benefits of both situations. She nodded subtly to his words, her eyes shifting away to watch the volcano, and the mountains in the distance. Eyeing it for a few seconds, she finally grew situated with the location, and realized her home wasn’t very far off from where she stood, and that the only way to access it seemed perfect for a Zunden and the herd’s allies. Most horses grew lost in the shadows of the woods, but they could easily make their way through it. Perhaps if the worst happened and they lost, she could easily shelter them – after all, who’d look for one of those fiery creatures in a land like that? To most of the island, it was probably nothing more than unexplored territory. It was then that Aiden spoke again, and she shifted her head to look at him, her ears pricking forward to take in his words. He had quite a lot to offer, as she had estimated. The alliance would benefit both of them whether they won or lost the battle. No problem, your herd and eagles are more than welcome to my land. She spoke, giving a soft nod of her head. The eagles could quickly fly over the woods and the mountains – they’d be the best messengers, going unhindered by the territory’s natural boundaries. Of course. She replied, a quick smile tugging at the corners of the mare’s maw. She then turned her head, signaling in the direction of the woods and the mountain range she’d been looking at earlier, and tossing her head a bit. My land is just beyond that forest. You should be able to easily navigate them with your flames to light the way.

Aiden was pleased to see that the mare accepted these conditions. He would worry about how they would be delt with after the take over of the island. He figured that he would let them be in peace, but ask them to enforce rules and govern the lesser herds. It sounded liek agood deal to Aiden, but he was not going to bring anything up until it actually happened.
"Very well. I'll send several eagles over and ask them to gather some more who would like a land to live in. The phoenixes stay with us." he told her. The Zunden had changed many eagles into fire birds. It was an amazing thing Aiden found he could do that would benefit them greatly.
Aiden looked in the direction in which the mare said her land was. He had heard of the darkness that they lived in all the time. He figured that they liked it, just like he was fond of his volcanic land. Every breed had their quirky likes and dislikes. For the mare it happened to be a dark place to live, and for Aiden it was a reed land where snow never tainted the ground and lava spewed up in many places.
"By the way mare, what is you name?" he asked realising that he did not know her calling. He just assumed she already knew his name. Almost every living thing on the island knew the great Fire Lord's calling. It was rare if someone did not know it. Most likely the ones who did not know it were not from the island and had washed ashore.

The mare nodded, acknowledging the words of the Zunden. Perhaps the eagles would take a quick liking to her land. It was quite the place to fly over; she was surprised it’d taken anyone so long to discover it. When she’d first arrived, the snow on the ground from the start of winter had been entirely untouched. She’d expected at least some sort of hoof prints, but she’d found none – that is, until she’d sent a flickering streak of lightning across the island. They’d started arriving shortly after that, their intuition yearning to follow it and go home. Her nostrils flared slightly, her thoughts wandering off as to how many Navitas there were spread throughout the land. She’d hardly known she even was one until last winter – perhaps there were more out there who were just like she was, lost.
It was then that Aiden asked her name. Her name! They hadn’t even had a proper introduction. It’d started right off with aggression, and then it had toned down into a simple meeting – but they hadn’t exchanged names. Though, she already knew of his name – he had the entire island in a mess trying to figure out his next moves, one of which was happening right now. My name is Devil. She said, giving a short smile. Her tail flicked anxiously, the locks falling about her ankles. Don’t worry, I already know your name, Aiden. She gave a subtle nod, giving a short glance in the direction she’d come from. It wasn't exactly the way her territory was, but it was where she'd recently been passing her time - Felwood. If you have nothing further to discuss, I’ll be on my way. She said, turning a few degrees to leave.
