[/size] Oh my my. The pretty little bitch had been gone for far too long. Her two-toned cat-like eyes flitted from every shadowy corner. She stopped, rose her head and let out a piercing screech. It was time to gather her herd.

Valdis finally slid into her normal place, her forked tongue flicking out between parted lips nervously. Her light green and dark red eyes flickered as she looked for.. What exactly was she looking for? Her body tensed, and she slapped her multi-colored tail.

Ah, so maybe she had changed. Was it a good change? Valdis closed her eyes, and sighed. If it got her Crowley, it was perfect for her. So maybe the Lady of Death had finally found herself a stallion.. But he didn't want her.

The omnivore hissed silently in the cold air, waiting for her herd. Where were all these Reapers? Surely Crowley was out there. A faint smile fought its way onto her ivory lips. That stallion just got to her some way, some how. He intrigued her, everything about him interested her. And the fact that he was so mysterious about his past made her even more curious about him. This behavior was very unlike the younger Valdis. But that was why she had been gone so long. The vixen had been doing some serious searching for her true self.

Stomping a cloven hoof, she screamed again. The chilling screech pierced the crisp, cold air. It was blood curdling. But Valdis liked it that way. It was a better way to terrorize any normal horses that might be lurking. And at the moment, she didn't feel like dealing with them.

Crowley lazily swished his ebony tail as he munched on the dying grass. That was one thing he just could not get used to; grass. Yes, he was a omnivorous horse, but grass was the most accessible edible thing. He really hated it now, especially since everything was dying because of the cooling weather.

He lifted his head as he heard a call in the distance. Was that Valdis? It must be. Crowley lazily jogged off in the direction of her call, wanting to see if it was really who he thought it was. The naïve mare had gone missing a long time ago, almost a full year. Crowley had took it upon himself during that time to take charge of the herd, which he did. And if he did say so himself he did a pretty damn good job of it.

The stallion slowed to a walk as he saw the lone mare waiting for her herd members to meet her. Crowley grinned as he quietly made his way out of the shadows. “So I see you finally decided to join us.” he said with a mock pleasure and a smirk on his face. “We were worried about ye fair maiden!” he dramatically exclaimed. Truth was he hadn't thought much about her after a few weeks of her leaving. He just figured she couldn't handle it and left. People did it all the time in the corporate world.
