|x| Feels like the walls are closing in on me! I'm suffocating! I can barely breathe! Aro | How? How could this possibly happen to him? To Aro?
The large stud walked quietly through Cascata Più Forrest, his heart shattered. How could this happen to him? His love.. His life.. Gone. Forever. The kiger watched the leaf-covered ground as he walked. Kadence, his love, the meaning to his life... She was gone.
dead. The word pounded in his head, as if trying to get out. He closed his amber eyes, stopping in the midst of the forest. "Why?" He asked quietly. "Why!? His voice rising. He stomped his silver dagger. "How could you let this happen?!?" He screamed, tears streaming from his cold amber eyes. He screamed in pain, in anger, to no one. Not a soul.
The stallion closed his eyes, tears falling. "Kadence..." Her name stung his broken heart, and he closed his eyes tighter. "Why can't this be just a nightmare!?" He murmered.
He opened his eyes, wishing to see his mate in front of him with their son. But there was nothing but gnarled, old willow trees. The wind stung his eyes and he blinked, staring at the empty space where he could only wish Kadence was. His sandy mane and tail blew in the wind and he stared. Tears stung his eyes and he let them fall.
"She's dead, Aro." The wind seemed to be mocking him. The great kiger lowered his head, his heart, shattered.

» The young overo walked quietly through the willow tree forest, listening to the leaves hiss together as chilly breezes made them sway, sending brown and orange leaves scattering about the ground. It was dark out now, and the only light was the half-moon illuminating the trees and giving everything a blue-sliver glow. The colt kept his head even with his body, ears swiveling every which way as his green eyes nervously flicking around, staring down every shadow, but it was hard to keep up as he continued walking by. He had seen his father disapear when he thought he was sleeping, and followed after, wondering where he was going. But his father's journey had taken him far away from home, and Blazer wasn't used to going out this far from his homeland. Oh well, he was old enough, so he should start learning.
» Blazer slowed and paused for a minute, as he thought he heard faint whispers. His ears pricked, and his head cocked to the side, mane falling down to his right side. "Dad...?" he called, then swallowed, beginning to walk forward again, more cautiously this time.

|x| Feels like the walls are closing in on me! I'm suffocating! I can barely breathe! Aro | The big kiger raised his head to stare at the moon. "Where's your other half, moon?" Aro gazed at the half. "Half of you is missing. Same for me, moon." He murmered quietly before turning away and starting to walk again. A twin popped, and he heard the faint words Dad? His ears drew forward halfway, a broken smile spreading across his lips. It was his son, Blazer.
The smile disappeared as soon as it formed. He thought about calling out to the colt, but hesitated. Why bother? Was he just gonna leave like his other son did? Aro shook his head. Blazer would never leave him. And at that, he started walking to where he thought he heard his son.
"Hello, Son." Aro smiled faintly as the painted outline of the colt came into view in front of him. "Why are you wondering out here?" The stud asked quietly, amber eyes glowing. "There was no need to come find me. I thought about just going and getting a bitch for you to force." He gave a half-hearted nasty smirk. But he didn't mean those words at the moment. That was his cover-up. He didn't want Blazer to see him so heart-broken.
Aro was quiet for a moment before speaking. "Larken never returned, did he?" Aro lifted his gaze to his son's. Pain shot through his numb body as he spoke his true son's name.

» Blazer paused as soon as he spotted his father's large overo form making his way towards him through the trees. He pricked his ears and waited, nostrils flaring and nose puffing out a smokey cloud of vapor in the chilly air. He smiled at his father, but it soon faded as he began to notice how down his father seemed. The colt felt he had to smile though as his father mentioned getting him a mare, for his sake. Even though he'd like to get one..
» Blazer frowned and shook his head sadly at Aro. "No he hasn't, father,
" he said, one ear turning back on his head unsurely. Sure, Larken was the son of his father's mate, but it seemed like Aro cared about him more. He was just as good, if not better, and he wouldn't walk on hs father like Larken did. He was just useless. But Blazer kept his thoughts to himself, and walked forward to give his father a comforting nuzzle, frowning sadly. [/blockquote] ooc: Poor Aro. xD character: Blazer muse: okay-ish song: ---
