The tri-colored mustang stood in the grass , foliage falling from his maw. He had been grazing during the peak of morning and now he was bored. His wild mane layed on both sides of his cresty neck and some strands stood up. His tail did not tred past his hocks and was just as scraggily. He certainly wasn't much of a looker, like the other sleek stallions on the isle. He was five years old, and coming to the age when he pondered his appearance and what the mares thought of him.
His last friend, a Nyfrio mare, had disapeared after a play session in the pond, and his heart ached with lonliness. Just someone to coverse with would be enough. He was young, and already pretty bored with life. It had nothing to offer but grass, water, night, and day so far, and that wasn't interesting enough. He turned over a pebble with his hoof and watched a sleek black lizard scurry away to hide under the bushes. Normally he would chase it, dig it back up, and chase it again, but he was too bored to move. He simply deeply sighed, cocked one back hoof, and dozed in the shade.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
