Anyone who plays sim games has probably played the typical points based show and breeding system game. Show and train your animals, get lots of points then breed them and start again. As a new member catching up to older members is difficult and if you don't upgrade you probably miss out of specialty items to improve your animals, extra shows, special equipment, ect...
Horse Eden is something different. HE is geared toward older members with busy lives who simply don't always have time to log in daily and are looking for a friendly yet mature forum community. Younger members are welcome, but everyone is expected to be kind and respectful to their fellow players.
Own your very stable of Warmbloods, Thoroughbreds, Irish Draughts, Irish Sporthorses, Knabstrupper, or Sporthorses. Train your horses in Dressage, Jumping, Cross Country, or all three! Hire riders and compete against other players on your way to the top and to earn of spot on your regions World Games Team! Capture horses from the wild, purchase ones up for sale, or place bids in an auction. Realistic equine genetics make breeding fun and challenging with multiple patterns such as tobiano, appaloosa, and sabino to name a few. Each horse has it's own game generate portrait so you can actually see what your horses look likes. You can also purchase a custom picture or manip of the forum from a fellow member. Members can also purchase extra barns and pastures for their horses and Arenas to hold their own shows. Make a name for yourself as a show barn, breeder, or both. In game leader boards make it easy to see how you and your horses rank against with other stables, there is even one for members who are not upgraded. Points for all horses and leaderboard standings get reset each season so each year everyone has and equal chance at making it to the top. Join the forum to chat with other members, buy and sell horses, ask questions, and enter contests.
Horse Eden is not your typical game. I have only listed a handful of the things available to HE members. Don't be fooled by HE's streamlined game play there is a lot more to do and see than meets the eye, just ask another HE member. So if you are looking for mature and realistic game play come take a look. I think you will like what you see:D
