Kai
Define: Keeper of the Keys; Earth
The herb-green essa trotted through the forest of cedar-wood trees, lifting each hoof up and off of the ground with grace. The wonderous smell of foliage invited her back into the lands of Maison de Terre. It had been so long, too long, since she had trod across these parts of Isola Dei Dei. This was the day that she would claim it as her own, and awaken the tree's which had been dormant for long. Halting beside an especially large trunk, Kai slowly touched her velvet maw to the rough, antique bark. Immediately, it began to shift. It shook like a rank dog after a swim. Telepathically, she spoke the first words, Greetings, ancient one. The day has come that I awaken thee and ask for a blessing. Without a word, the cedar ruffled it's leaves and gave a great, curt bow towards the equine. Kai bowed deeply in return and arose with a solemn expression.
Now at a smooth canter, the nymph headed towards the small grazing pasture. Once in the dead center of the field, she pawed the ground, raised her head, and let out a loud, bellowing call. All Toka would be sure to hear it, no matter where they were on the isle. The Earth Goddess had arrived, and wished to see the rest of her kind.

The gallant entire gently rose his head. His legs where enveloped beneath him, and his eyes where full of sleep. The noise that awoke him was loud and strong. Could it be the neigh of Kai, Earth Goddess? If it was, it was time for the Toka's to awaken. Formuhsus perked his ears to see a gallant figure not far ahead. It looked like a green speck of the earth itself. Rising slowly to his hooves, he shook his tri colored pelt lightly. It was her. The Toka had been in eternal rest for so long, and only the sweet call of there Goddess, Kai, could awaken them.
The call, the yearn to gallop to her was so strong that he ignored the vegetation that could have been a nice meal. It was odd how they ate something they almost worshiped, but he guessed that as long as they respected it and didn't over eat, it would be fine. And there dung, gross as it was, kept the cycle going. So it wasn't really betrayal if you thought about it.
He picked up his rock like hooves and raced forward, slowing when he reached her. He halted and bowed so low his ears touched the soft carpet of grass. Thank you, Earth Goddess Kai, for awakening the Toka. I am Formuhsus, but please, do call me Form. Again, he addressed a deep bow.

In the distance, the femmora could make out the outline of a dark chartreuse ungulate making it's way over. With a glance at it's stature, she could easily label it a baron. He was tall and lean, and had a familiar line curving down his spine. The matron watched him canter over and halt. She took a single step onward, and let him bow. When the words were out of his mouth, she gave a meaningful smile. "I should agree that by now, any horse would be grateful to stand. Anyhow, Form, I'm pleased to meet a Toka such as yourself." Her words were soft but authoritive, quiet, but musical. Each syllable rolled off the next, and made for a wonderous sound.
She dipped her palette and lowered her towers as to make room for a bow in return. Aquamarine orbs swept over the field, and the two unique forest's. She searched for any more of their kind, then laid her gaze back down upon Formuhsus. "When you awoke, were any Toka present nearby?" The Queen waited to give the stag time to review the past happenings. The sooner they came, the better. Then she could get on with addressing the herd, and any other duties.

Demeter; °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° Strong limbs carried the mare ‘cross a vast measure but finally she had arrived. Demeter could feel the earth tremble beneath her with each pounding step. This tremble was none of fear but of pure jubilee. The defenders of the Earth had returned.
Nares were filled with the sweet scent of every piece of foilage about her, and she could taste their sweet essence on her lips as each plant called her forward in a path toward the Toka’s homelands. The goddess had finally awoken the herd and the Earth was eager to unite the entirety of the herd. The essa was not certain how many others were following the call, but she was all too eager to arrive to even stop and look. Some things were best left a surprise anyhow. And, how sweet it was! The mare could see two silhouettes before her path. The trees seemed to part just perfectly so that a gleam of sunlight might bear down on the two as if it were to be a revelation to Demeter. Perhaps, it was just that. Never had she imagined that the Toka would once again reclaim their territory. She had no imagining that she would see it and so soon. But, alas, before the grand mare stood another, the goddess. Demeter allowed a bow to escape from her, too grateful and appreciative of the awakening that she dare speak. Rather, the mare let her tiara bob to the lush foliage below, remaining until her queen might allow her to rise.°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° I'll bet they put something in the air tonight just to light your face . iNSPiRATiON; [Dear Lucid, Our Time is Right Now] [by Evans Blue] word-count; ; [254] ' O°C | | sorry it took me so long to post; -facepalm-[/size]

The essa looked out in the distance, still waiting for some kind of reply from Formuhsus. While she waited she hoped she might see some more Toka equine. One had arrived, but a breed of but two horses was on the edge of extinction. And so she waited, looking for some sign of life in the thick brush. After a few moments she heard a faint rustling and then a beautiful mare escaped from the trees like a butterfly escaping a spider web. A great smile appeared of the Toka’s lips as she waited for the femora to arrive.
When the vixen had stopped close by, she bowed low to the ground and stayed there. As a signal to rise Kai bowed shortly and greeted her. ”Hello maiden. I’m Kai, lead of the Toka’s.” She paused then laughed ”And by the looks of it, so far there aren’t many. “ When the herb-coloured lady looked at the nymph before her it was easy to tell that she was of Toka heritage. Good, “the more the merrier,” as they always say!
