can you hear me now? |The wind was unusually silent upon the plateau, as the painted Era lead stood on the very cliff side, looking out across Isola. Flicking his ears slightly, he flared his nostrils, wondering why the wind was still on this day. Breathing out slowly, he stomped a fore hoof, throwing his head up slightly. Bolin, clenching his jaws slightly, turned, walking slowly toward the large tree in the center of the grassy meadow. Eyes watched the leaves remain still, and he sighed. Suddenly, a big gust of wind danced around him, and he spoke to it. "Have you found her," his voice was low, and the breeze played with his mane slightly. Turning his head back to the cliff's edge, his ears flicked slightly. So, she was with Marut. That was good. As long as his father and brother weren't anywhere near her. Lowering his head, he nibbled on the grasses, his thoughts preoccupied by his mother and her well-being. He wondered if the Era mare would come join him and the growing herd. Flicking his tail behind him, he breathed out against the ground, small plumes of dust rising into the humid air. horse role played | bolin basic text color | gray speech color | lightseagreen song | hear me now artist | framing hanley template | lizzeh 2009 [/blockquote]

Wish I could unremember all the things my hearts been through..
The tri colored femme yawned and sighed. Not much had happened since the young Bolin had claimed the land. He was very mature for his age, but she still couldn't help but think the Era's needed an elder leader. She flicked her ashen gray tail and walked up to a grazing Bolin. She didn't speak, but she could feel Bolin's feelings. Her ears drooped, and she sighed lightly. It will be alright, Master Bolin. She said, trying to sound encouraging. If Tuula, his dam, was with Marut-Then she would be safe, right?
But if so, then why had they not come back yet? Hopefully she was not going to be foolish enough to go back to her old herd, where death awaited her, but to come here where she was safe. But Cheza had little doubt she wouldn't come, with Marut's persauding. But if she did end up coming here..would that, all in all, be good? Or would she be a beacon, a red flag to the Era's? Would her rouge son and mate(or ex-mate, rather)go after her in seek of revenge? Anyways, it was none of her buisness to interfer with Bolin and his families desicions so, respectivly, she would not ask further questions.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ..I'm finding out it's impossible to do Cheza I can't unlove you

can you hear me now? |The words of Cheza came to the young stallion's ears, and the half Era looked to the mare. A faint smile crossed his maw, and he nodded. "Aye, I believe it will be. I just wish my mother would come back here instead of being out there. Orpheus could be lurking anywhere, and with Hannibal angry with my mother as well, he could be hunting her also." He sighed, the smile disappearing, being replaced with a frown. The young leader turned his head to the cliffs again, watching as the river glistened in the summer sunlight. Breathing out slightly, he looked back at Cheza, his ears tilted forward. "What have you been up to since we last talked?" horse role played | bolin basic text color | gray speech color | lightseagreen song | hear me now artist | framing hanley template | lizzeh 2009 [/blockquote]

Wanna wake up every morning... The fae nodded at his words. She felt bad for him, he was only a single year and already had so much to worry about. She shifted her weight and thought about what she would say. She looked over his mold. He was a solid looking Paint stag, very much like what she imagined her sire to be. He was not pure Era, either, but that didn't bother Cheza that much. His face was a bold chalk white, which she had always thought looked kinda..cute. She had never seen, after all, such a bold marking.
He then asked what she had been doing. Nothing much, to be honest...just happy to know the Era's are making a possible comeback. She nipped the blades of seagreen turf beneath her daggers and chewed lightly. She suspected Bolin was waiting for Tuula and Marut, as she had heard his wind message. She shook her neck, her cross necklace dangling at her chest. She looked at him, and light nudged him. Are you waiting for Mistress Tuula? I will wait with you.. She looked toward the rolling hills and jagged mountains, as if waiting for them to majestically glide up to them and the Era's would never have to worry anymore. If you want. She fininshed, not wanting to sound to pushy.

can you hear me now? |Feeling the mare study him, Bolin shifted slightly. He wasn't uneasy about it, he just wasn't used to a mare staring at him. Besides his mother. At the sound of his mother's name, Bolin tilted his head. "Right now, I am not waiting for anyone. My mother can take her time right now. I am just seeing if any of the other Era are going to appear." He smiled at her, and his eyes caught sight of the cross necklace. "Might I ask.. what is that and where did you get it?" horse role played | bolin basic text color | gray speech color | seagreen song | hear me now artist | framing hanley template | lizzeh 2009 [/blockquote]

Spend all your time waiting.. Cheza's heart dropped when the stag mentioned her cross necklace. Her eyes filled with tears, and she had to bite her bottom lip to keep it from quivering. Her tail went limp, and she delicately looked at him. Taking a gulp, she spoke. It was my mates..Kiba's. He wore it all the time, it was his sires. He died trying to protect the herd we lived in...along with everyone else. I was the only surviver, and that was only because I got lost in the woods trying to get to my herd. Thinking of the large black Era stallion, she felt a sudden emptiness, but she tried to look okay.
When I did finally find the herd, everyone was dead. Except Kiba. He was barely alive, trying to get up. He told me not to cry..not to worry. He told me to leave the area.. to live. He told me this was Gods way of saying that I was meant to live, and not them. I tried to retort him, tried to help him...but he said that he was to weak. He was in alot of pain, and he did not want to live. He dropped to the ground..and I remember that thud I heard, his breath leaving him. He asked me to take his cross necklace, so that he could always be with me, and so could god. I stayed there, lying with my head over his withers until he finally passed that night. The horses, I think they where Zundens, had brutally murdered all of my family. I thought that all the Era horses where dead..I did not want to live. So I layed with him for a week, hoping to grow so weak that I, to, left. She finished to take a breath and let a few stray tears fall, before holding the rest in. But something told me to leave, and reluctantly I took Kiba's advice and I left. Only a year ago, I tried to find that spot again...the graveyard of over 45 of my herd mates, of my friends...but try as I might I never could. I miss him...but it makes me feel close to him whenever I wear it. She said, and felt a bit bad for rambling. She couldn't believe she had opened up her history like that, but she didn't care. She gulped harshly, fighting back tears. She had no reason to cry. All that was over, anyways..

can you hear me now? |A wave of saddness washed over the young Era stallion as Cheza told her story. Flicking his ears, Bolin soon regretted asking the mare about the necklace, after seeing her once happy nature change drastically. Taking a few steps forward, he rested his muzzle on her shoulder, in order to comfort her. "Cheza. I am sorry to hear that. I, unlike you, do not know how it is to lose someone so close. But I can imagine the pain had to be great." Flicking his ears back slightly, he nuzzled her shoulder gently, and then pulled away. "We will not let the Zunden kill anymore horses. I do not want you to go through that once again." A sincere smile crossed his maw, as he glanced over to the cliff side. Perhaps this herd would have a better advantage against any war that might be brought to their front door, with them living upon a plateau so high above the rest of Isola. Eyes went back to the mare, his sad eyes watching her. horse role played | bolin basic text color | gray speech color | seagreen song | hear me now artist | framing hanley template | lizzeh 2009 [/blockquote]

Nobody knew how much she blamed herself..The Era's eyes narrowed in hatred for the fire horses. She looked away, ears flicking to pick up Bolin's words. He may have not known such pain, but he too was going through pain. At only a year he was already being forced to pick sides, to not be able to understand his father, or agree with his brother. She winced at his touch, almost as if she was expecting it to hurt. It had been awhile since she had known so soft a touch, and she weakly smiled.
She pinned her ears at the next set of words he said. The Zundens.. she sidestepped and looked away. Do not worry, Bolin. They will be foolish enough to strike again. We just..have to be stronger. Do not worry about me. What happened to me is said and done. She said, with a sigh. Looking back at the paint, she nudged his neck. You have worries of your own. I must leave..I will return though, Bolin. A slight shiver went down her spine as she realized that the tempature had dropped. Nevertheless, she gave him a slight dip of her head and took off at a quick trot to leave the lands..
