Aro The palomino overo Kiger stood proudly on the God's rock. This land was now his. And he wanted to see his members and appoint new positions. And Aro needed to get his bloodlines going again. Damn, this was awesome. Aro's bugle sounded through-out the land. Soon, he would discuss matters with his herd.. Sorry it's short. My Dad's kicking me off of the computer.

Artemis Artemis trotted in, headed in the direction she had gone so many times before. A new lead stood in Quixtant’s spot. She still couldn’t get over that he was dead. Gone. He would never sound his call again. A sadness crept over her, though she had never been extremely close to Quix. The mare stopped, dipping her crown in respect. None of the others had made it here yet. Somewhere in the distance, the sound of hoofbeats reverberated. Others were on their way. Her daughter appeared. Orbs swept her form, appraising her appearance. She seemed to be doing fine on her own. A mother always worried about her children. Though she was still young enough to have more foals, she had not taken initiative to do so. The new lead would be giving out rules and looking for a stud in Allevare Mettono probably wouldn't be the best idea or set off a good first impression. Dark or not, she did not want to be considered the whore of the herd. Stella* The mare wondered in from the opposite direction her mother had come from. They were now the same height and stood with the same confidence. She was no longer the awkward little filly she had been the last time she was here. Kissers pulled into a grin directed at her mother. Lofty pillars strode forward at a bouncy gait. Her ebony pelt stood out strikingly against the backdrop of the lands. All around were millions of shades of emerals. The fact that her facade was half covered in white gave away her parentage instantly, though she'd never known the brute that sired her. Attention pulled from her swirling memories. She was excited to see the new equine in charge of Morte. Up ahead, atop the rock Quixtant had once stood upon, was the new king of the land. She’d only heard of the stag’s inheritance, but had never met him before. His stance showed that he knew just what he had stepped into. He looked quite powerful and on a high. She halted near him and bent her dome to the ground, nape curling. Aro. A smile lingered on her kissers as she looked up, orbs meeting his before she glanced out, looking for the other herd members that would surely appear soon after hearing the brute’s call.

Oscurità Being bad just feels so good, When you‘re the devil of the dark
A mahogany stag stood tall in the sunlight of Valle Nera Di Morte, the odd red sheen on his glossy coat easily distinguishable in the gentle light. He lowered his noble crown to nip at the lush strands of grass that blanketed the floor, dark radars flicking constantly as they listened intently to the whispers of the wind, cold, steel orbs scanning the hazy horizon. Flicking his coal black banner out behind him lazily at the flies, he lounged around, enjoying the blissful freedom of the lands, and the soothing heat of the sun on his smooth pelt.
Upon hearing the sound of the new lead’s bugle he rapidly raised his stunning head, black tassels tumbling wildly over his muscular neck as he arched it impressively, swiftly launching himself forwards with the grace of a gazelle, the power of a tiger, dark daggers striking the soft ground silently as he stalked forwards in an expressive canter, barely visible as he flitted through the gnarled trees with ease; the perfect hunter, the perfect predator. His silky tail ran out behind him like a erratic river of ink, his stride becoming elongated as the scent of the new lead, Aro, was detected in his perceptive mind. He’d never been too close to Quixant, so his death wasn’t too much of a blow even though he’d miss his malevolent ways: he just hoped the new lead would rule fairly, Oscurità had always enjoyed his ’freedom’.
Sighting the new lead standing proudly on God’s rock he entered quietly, nodding his handsome crown as a sign of respect and taking his place in the meeting, wondering what was about to happen. His sombre orbs took in the sight of 2 pretty faes and he smiled politely at them both before turning his attention back to the lead.

The mare had been grazing alone when she heard her new leader’s bugle. And, with a flare of her nostrils, she was off. She whizzed through the forestry with remarkable ease; it appeared she was getting quite used to the landscape, and it helped that her legs were small and nimble. Perhaps the things that made her unfit to be a ‘registered’ Criollo benefitted her quite well here.
Soon, she was within sight of her lead. Slowing down, her eyes narrowed on the ones she did not recognize. The look was not one of contempt; merely, she was trying to figure out who they were. Apparently, they were not a threat, so she eased up. Kadence halted a few meters from her lead, also keeping a few meters of distance from the others.

Masquerade The ivory masked stag was grazing on the outer rim of the land, when his auds detected the sound of the new king's call. Masquerade lifted his Friesian-like head and shook it, sending his ebony nad crimson banners every which way around his neck. He figured it would be best if he got headed to the meeting now, since he was quite a far ways away from it.
Masquerade slowed his canter down as he neared the area where the rock that Quixtant used to stand was. He glanced around, only to see a few equines here. He saw the new leader, Aro, pearched upon his rock. Masquerade would miss Quixtant a bit, hopefully this new leader was like him. He then saw Oscurità and Kadence, waiting for Aro to speak. Masquerade shook his crown, glad to find that Jeannie wasn't here at all. Hopefully she would miss the meeting. That'd be nice. His orbs then focused on the beautiful Artemis and Stella. Stella had grown up so much. He was glad to see that she was doing well. Masquerade halted next to Artemis and looked up to the new leader, waiting for him to begin.Jigsaw The colourful colt was now a yearling, old enough to be gone from the protectiveness of his mother. His father didn't count. Jigsaw did see him as a role model though, even though he was not the best one. The yearling brought his crown up for grazing as he heard the call of the new leader. Jigsaw hadn't even seen this new equine yet, and here he was going to his meeting.
It only took him all of a minute to jog to where the meeting was. As he quickly glanced around he saw several of the herd members had gathered. He did pick out his father, standing next to an ivory mare, who heknew was the mother of his half sister, Stella. The funny thing was that stella didn't even know that his father was her father too, or that he was her half brother. Jigsaw then began to wonder exactly how many half brothers and sisters did he have on this isle? He figured that it had to be at least four or five. Speaking of sisters, he didn't see Champaigne any where, or his mother for that matter. Maybe they'd show up later. After all, he did want to say hi.

MARTINI ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Martini slowly trotted up to where the herd of horses had gathered. She didn't approach the new lead, nor did she approach any of the other horses. She walked in the middle of the crowd and stomped her dagger impatiently, why was nothing going on? This was a meeting, not some get together to just stand around... Although Martini wanted to shout, nd ask what the hell was going on, she held her tongue. The look on her face said it all, she didn't want anyone to talk to her. She was tired of these so called meetings. Nothing was going to get done when everyone was standing around do absolutly nothing.
Martini eyed the lead, He looked so proud, of course all he wanted out of the mares was to just fuck with them to spread his jeans. Martini snorted at him, a disgusted look spread across her face as she moved to the back of the group of horses. She hoped she made herself know, whether she caused trouble or not. She didn't care about anyone else here especially that so called lead. To her it seemed as if he didn't know what the hell he was doing.
She wondered what happened to the former lead, was he killed? Did he run away and try to find a new land? She didn't know and at this point it was the least of her worries, he wasn't here, so why should she care about him now. Martini held her head high as she looked at the horses surrounding her.

[ The palomino overo paused for a second, looking over his herd. With a snort, he stomped his silver daggar. 'first of all, we are going to discuss names, and appoint new positions. as you know, i'm needing a queen, betas and broods.' Aro paused again, silver daggar stomping to rid the flies. 'as if you didn't know, we had three leave us. jeannie, has left, champagne has left also. and quixtant.' he smiled darkly. The stag smiled at Kadence. 'now, names. you should know, i, aro. this beautiful roan is kadnence. you will treat her kindly, as she is part of the herd now. if you would please, one at a time, as i call you, tell your name.' Right now, the stag didn't sound like a dark should at all. But, you need to be kind on the first day. Don't want a bad impression, do we? 'also, all who were appointed positions, are now not in positions, as i am choosing new ones.' Aro flicked his bannar. 'any questions? oh, and brood mares. any who would like the position, i will appoint you immediatly.'][/blockquote]

Kadence
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° The mare was somewhat alarmed at the mention of her name, but soon calmed at the rest of Aro’s words. Could a blush be seen on her already strawberry pelt, there surely would be one. However, Kadence held up her composure as best she could, merely bowing her head slightly in thankful recognition. He then asked for any mares that wanted to be broodmares, and the roan glanced around in silence, curious as to which mares might take that position willingly. Sure, she wanted to have a foal eventually, but to be a brood mare… well, it seemed almost like slavery. Kadence surely did not want her whole life to amount to merely being a brood for countless amount of foals. Snorting slightly at the thought, she shook her head, focusing the onyx orbs back on her lead, though her ears were ever vigilant, waiting for some other member to speak up. Would they?°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° You know you do, you kill me well. Artemis Masquerade's form suddenly appeared at her side. She acknowledged him with a nod of her giant crania, though not much more. She didn't have time to get distracted by him. He had left her for that whore and somehow she still hadn't gotten over it. A sigh escaped her and she glanced at Stella for a moment, wondering if she would be able to fit the pieces together. Would she figure out that both her father and half brother were here? Not a single emotion had betrayed itself the whole time though. Attention focused on Aro and his announcements. She had guessed that new positions would be available. And of course he would be choosing his queen. From her point of view it looked as if Kadence would get the position, but one never knew with a dark. Broodmare status didn't appeal in the least to her. Indeed she wished to have more foals, possibly even in the near future, but at the same time she didn't want to be a broodmare the rest of her life either. Stella* Pools flickered to each of the equines that came into the meeting. None of whom she had really met before. Though one particular stag's appearance drew her attention. The markings on his face... So much like her own. It was quite possible that he was her father. Her assumption was pretty much confirmed when he stopped next to her mother and she found his gaze upon her. She wasn't sure what to make of this. Nares flared in anger, yet part of her seemed indifferent to his presence. Whatever. This would wait until after the meeting. Aro's voice penetrated her thoughts. She nodded at what he had said, understanding that a new herd was pretty much being put together under his rule. Her interest perked when he announced that he would be looking for new positions. She was still a little young, being a couple of years old, but there was still a chance she supposed.

Oscurita Oscurità stood still, dark radars constantly swivelling, listening intently to the words of his new leader. Silken flares were wide, detecting all new scents that were carried on the warm wind, the breeze skimming over his glossy red hued pelt, inky banner flowing softly like a river. He was beginning to become bored with the whole situation, and allowed his cold steel orbs to saunter over to all the mares present, snorting lightly. Wondering what position he'd be ranked as he looked around he thought of what this new lead's rule was going to be like. Diverso A crystal tear slipped from between the fae’s swollen eyelid, her chocolate orbs dim as they scanned the hazy horizon for any signs of equines. It felt as if she’d been walking for days, ever since ‘it’ had happened. Stopping for a rest she leant against a thick gnarled tree trunk, petite bodice shuddering as she tried to draw breath, dainty pillars shaking slightly with the amount of pressure they’d been under. Her delicate flares were gently inhaling the humid air, many unknown equine scents being detected, but one was familiar. Aro. Even thinking his name repulsed her, and she sighed softly at what she had to come. One thing for sure, as soon as she had his foal she’d find another stag. Anyone had to be better than him. Sobbing softly she looked down to the lush grass, her broken body throbbing with pain, before moving off into a gentle walk, figuring she’d have to report back to the herd soon before Aro came to find her. Her bodice was covered in blood, staining her pale bodice pink where it had dried, like some sort of crude paint. Eventually the sight of equines flashed into view, and she shuffled over quietly, limping badly. What a sorry sight she was; deep bite marks on her usually elegant neck and crest, a small trickle of blood still oozing out, the rest dried in clumps; long gash still open on her cheek, crimson drying on her flares where it had seeped out. Her barrel was battered and bruised, ribs swollen where the stag’s unforgiving daggers had struck her, shattering her ribcage in many places, deep grazes filled with dirt and gravel from where she had slid to the ground. It sure would be a while before she was back to full health. She’d managed to wash most of the crimson from her hind legs in the little pond in Terra Scure, but as they were so pale they were tinted pink, tell-tale signs of the evil the lead stag had committed. Her orbs were wide with fear as she entered the small group, staring at the ground. A quick flash upwards and Aro came into view, a low snarl ripping at her throat, murmuring, “Scum” under her breath. Aro A silver daggar stomped on the rock, amber eyes narrowing as Diverso appeared. She, however, would be treated as the herd's bitch. 'as you know, the elementals are rising. i want warriors. oscurita, your appointed as stud. but you will ask me before breeding to any broods. and, jigsaw, you are now a warrior. if your father had stayed, jigsaw, he would a warrior, possibly knight. stella, you will be appointed babysitter. artemis, would you like brood? and martini, you are appointed dutchess. you will need to apoint someone for dutch.. Artemis She was still waiting for Aro to announce the positions when a mare came into view. She was badly hurt by the looks of it. There wasn't one spot on her body that wasn't either battered or covered in blood. What cruel creature would do this?! she wondered. But she didn't have to wait for an answer. It was Aro. Their new leader. So he was a true dark at heart after all. Globes looked with pity upon the mare. Aro's voice broke her thoughts. Somehow it sounded different to her now, as if they all knew how evil he was and now he didn't have to hide it. He had appointed her brood afterall. There was no going around it, so she would acquiesce to his demand. Very well, Aro. Stella* Her wandering gaze fell upon the new mare. She didn't look as if she was in too good a shape. In fact, she looked like she had been forced and unfortunately that was life for many mares. Eyes narrowed to slits, though she was staring at the ground, when she heard the mare's remark. There was nothing she could do, though. At the same moment, Aro was running through the list of positions. Babysitter wouldn't be too bad, she supposed. It's nothing like a fighter, but perhaps later on, when she was older like her mother. But unlike her mother, she would not be appointed to broodmare. She would amount to more than that. For now, it looked like she would be getting a lot of brothers and sisters...
