Haiku strided slowly, her frame tensed up. Her auds erect as she trotted in the still forest. Her ivory details glowing and he muscles ripling. Her maw swaying to the sides alert so she doesn't get snuck up on. She escaped her abusive herd. She was almost force bred. Huffing at the thought as she picked up pace sprinting in the cool forest. Her mane reaching backwards like licking flames. Her tassel waving behind. She was feeling great as the cool breeze weeves in her fleece. Her like acting as if pistons as she gallaped freely. She ceased her swift gait going to a complete stop. Panting lightly her chocolate orbs scaned the area. She was glad to be free from her herd. She sniffed around taking in the aromas of many horses that passed in here. A cold shiver scamperd down her spine at the thought of meeting another horse. She was very timid andfelt akeward around other horses. She leaned on a tree lowering her frame to the canvus to lay for a shot period, the silvery snow bordering around her.

The ebony stag trotted through the valley, his ebony daggers making a 'poof crunch' sound in the freshly fallen snow. Lassan hated the winter, sure it was beautiful, but the winds and temperatures on the isle during the cold months were murderous. Plus it seemed way too quiet in more ways than one.
the ebony Arab lifting his muzzle in the frigid air and took a whiff, trying to detect the scent of any other equines in the area. In the winter months Lassan would go around to the land where wanderers roamed, attempting to offer them a home in his herd. Plus that way when, and if, the elemental herds rose to power once again. Lassan grimmaced at the thought. Why think about that now when there were happier things to think about?
Lassan was pulled out of his thoughts as he detected a new scent. And, it was close by. His chocolate optics skimmed across the ivory landscape a couple times until he spotted her; a painted vixen laying under a tree. Lassan slowed to a walk and approached her with a bit of caution. These days even a seemingly harmless fae like this one could be dangerous.
"Hello?" he called out to the mare waiting for her reply.

Haiku breathed in chilling smells. Her chocolate optics fastend on a obsidian stag that came up out of no where. Her orbs widend a bit in shock at meeting another horse. She never knew how to socialize with other horses because she was only in her old herd as a sex toy. Trying not to seem to alarmed and fearfull, she bowed timidly to him. She was shrinking in size from fear as her orbs flashed her whites.
Gulping she heard his voice, his postur calm made her loosen. She stared at his hooves, "Hello...." Pausing she didn't want to speak anymore. She hung her crest in a bow agin before staring at him from the corner of her eye, trying not to make eye contac.

The ebony's audits flicked as he heard the painted vixen reply with a simple 'hello'. From the mare's body language he could tell that she was scared. He closed his optics for a brief second before opening them again. Was she one of the mares that most stallions wouldn't let into their herds because she was 'broken'? Abused by some Dark stag who had kept her on his land for his own pleasure. It saddened Lassan greatly to find mares like this. It had been a bit of a problem around here since the neutral and light herds were scarce. Darks seemed to rule the roost on the isle.
Lassan returned his attentoin back to the painted fae that was before him. "Am I Lassan, king of Terra Delle Liberta." he intrduced himself in a soft, gentle voice giving a slight bow of his head while he was at it. Lassan was quiet for a moment and then asked her, "And what would be your calling miss?" hopefully she would give him a name to work with. She seemed like she needed a home and that was what Lassan would offer the vixen. Plus he had a sizable herd, so she would never feel alone there.

Haiku paused hearing his voice drum in her auds. She trembled slightly, she wanted a home, she needed a home, but can she deal with this home? She gulped thinking if she should speak her name. Her chocolate orbs driftign everywhere. Seh doesn't even know if he was a dark. Seh felt liek a foal. She barly knew a thing, all she was is a slave to the horses.
She smiled shyly turnign to stare at him. She was scared of males most of all, she frozed her voice stutterign as she spoke- I- I I amd... Ha- Haiku..." She folded her ears back, almsot didn't know her own name but she still remeberd the name her mother gave her. She smiled again gulping. She was getting more nervous. Her tail shaking uneasyly as she waits for the male to speek again. Seh didn't know what to do.

Lassan's audits twitched as the mare's vocals cut through the winter air. The poor vixen was visibly shaking. Lassan took a slight step backward and lowered his ebony tiara just a bit, trying to asume a non-threatening posture. "That's a lovely name." he commented to the paint with a small smile.
The ebony Arab looked to the sky as a gust of wind blew, causing his obsidian banners to be whipped around his neck and legs. A storm was fast approaching. "Looks like a storms a blowin' in." he commented with a glance to the painted femme. He glanced around and realised that she had no safe shelter from the storm here. "It'd be best if we had somewhere safe to wait it out. One could die out here in this storm." The stag when silent for a moment, serious about everything he had told the mare. "My land is not far from 'ere , an' if you want to join me, we could probably out run the storm 'fore it gets too severe."

Haiku heard the gusts whistle in her aud. Her tassel rasping across her hooves as she pauses for a moment to respond to what he has said. She didn't know what to do, the horses she known was nice then mean. She turned to face the wind a moment but as she did dirt blown into her orb. She snorted and her optics waterd. She walked foraward a few ways then stoped to look at him in the eyes.
She smiled a bit before speaking, " I will join your herd Lassan." She waved her head away keeping her distance awaiting him to move first. She had hope in this herd, she hoped they members wore nice to ehr. If she makes it there she will be happy.

Lassan gave her a small smile as she said that she would join his herd. Hopefully she didn't think she was bound to his herd for the rest of her life, like a dark would probably make her do. "Haiku," he began "just so y'know you are free to leave the herd anytime you want to, fer any reason." He looked at her seriously when telling her this. He offered this freedom to all of his herd members. If for some reason they did not want to be part of Terra delle Liberta any longer then they were allowed to leave the land and never look back.
Lassan started walking in the direction from which he came. "Liberta is about fifteen minutes this direction." he told her with a bob of his crown. Lassan's optics drifted up to the sky as a few flakes of snow gently landed on his velvety muzzle. Hopefully they would be able to get to Liberta before the storm hit. OOC// If you wanna make a post in Liberta go ahead =)
