Valdis Death its self... SNAPPING the pitiful deer's neck, bloody lips curled into a tight smirk. "Mm... It's been so long since I've been in the true land of the Reapers... How it welcomes me home.." The ebony bitch laughed wickedly to herself, and started to tear into the carcass, ivory fangs immediatly turning to crimson.
RAISING her curved crown, Valdis swiped at her bloody lips with her tongue, licking off the last of the blood. She kicked out a checkered pillar, shoving the deer carcass away. She was finished with it, anyway.
BLOOD STAINED lips curled to make a scream, calling any Reapers that might be left. The time had come, to get together The Death herd. Valdis swished her brightly streaked tassles, light green audits forward, waiting to see if anyone would answer her call.

Shadow's ebony pillars moved lightly, trudging against the ground slowly as if the mare had lost her muse. She was still in shock over what had happened not too earlier in Lassan's lands--why had Nina just..frozen? It surely hadn't been consensual, otherwise her eyes wouldn't have burned with such sudden hatred. However, nothing in Nina's glare had given her any clues. For all she knew, it had probably just been a Time horse, or any of the other elementals playing tricks on them from the forest. After all, Zunden seemed to be on everyone's enemy list, so why not stop a rampaging one?..
The troubled mare shook her crown lightly, as if to clear the thoughts from her head, though it had no use--the ideas remained. Her nostrils quivered lightly in annoyance at herself. She wished to stop thinking about the incident, it was of no importance to her. Elementals were always playing tricks, she brushed the situations off easily, but why the hell couldn't she rid herself of the urge to figure this out?
She pawed at the ground with a velvet dagger, vigorously slicing the dirt with her hoof as if to take her angst out on it. A soft snort left her nostrils as she raised her head lightly once again, continuing on her way. She held no clue of where she was going, she just wanted to get away from Lassan's land, yet stay away from Terra di Fuoco--both of which she'd seemed to accomplish. The mare's rounded audits perked up quickly as the sounds of another equine's shrill scream vibrated through the air--and that's when her senses seemed to get back into her.
Where the heck had she ended up? It's like an autopilot had turned on in her mind and she'd just ventured off without a care in the world. Last time she did that, she met Aiden. Not a pleasant encounter. She was half minded to ignore the equine's call and take off in the exact opposite direction--but intuition seemed to disagree, and so she went forth. She accelerated a bit, turning her gait into a relaxed canter as she drew closer, green-blue eyes locking on the mare as soon as she'd come into sight. What a..colorful coat. You didn't come across one with colors like that too often--it had to be an elemental. Now let's just hope it wasn't like Aiden.
Shadow raised her crown curiously, letting out a nicker as she approached--staying at least at a 10 foot distance from her. She took a deep breath, almost as if bracing herself for what she was expecting of the mare's reaction.

Valdis Death its self... A BLOODY grin appeared on the mare's ivory maw and she turned to face the mare, cimson-stained fangs finally showing them selves. The mare disappeared from her current spot, reappearing beside the mare. "Well, hello darling.." The Reaper smirked. "What are you doing here? You seem... Normal. But.. There's something different about you.." Aldis began to circle to fae, and shoved her. "C'mon darling, let me see if your really what I think.." Aldis again grinned, and shoved her again. The Reaper knew if the mare before her was truely a Reaper, her temper would soon get the best of her..
Aldis studied the mare for a few more moments, before again shoving her, waiting for her temper to boil over. A grin remained on the bitch as she stepped back, watched and waited.

Shadow tilted her head lightly as she saw the mare turn to her, orbs opening wide as she took note of the blood stained grin on the vixen's face, and the carcass of the once-living deer on the ground. Her nostrils quivered anxiously, giving a sudden snort of shock as Aldis had appeared next to her. What the heck?! She thought, ears flattening against her skull as she examined the mare. She'd been right, another elemental--except, she didn't look like she'd be a Wind horse.. Perhaps there were other elements that could disappear..? She wasn't too keen on the herds and breeds on the island. In fact, she barely knew any, other than the Zunden. But then again, who wouldn't know such monsters?
The painted mare narrowed her eyes as she felt the other mare shove her. She gave a deviant snort once more, slight anger already starting to bubble in the depths of her eyes.
"What do you think I am? I'm a normal horse. Don't tell me you're like those crazy Zunden.." She said, her voice getting a more hiss-like tone, much as she'd done earlier when she'd ranted on Nina.

Valdis Death its self... ALDIS smirked. This was just what she wanted to see. It was taking longer than she had expected, but slowly, anger was boiling in the other mare.
SAYING nothing in reply, she nipped at her shoulder, crimson starting to flow. Aldis smirked and slapped the other mare with her painted tassles, hopefully stirring her enough to leave somewhat of a response. If it took more than shoving, so be it. Valdis wanted to make sure her suspicion was correct before she introduced everything to the mare, that she was not a normal horse at all. Oh how it would send the other mare's world tumbling down, that everything was a lie.

The mare arched an eyebrow, slight confusion bubbling in her mind as the other vixen smirked. What was she up to? All she knew was that she didn't like it. Not at all. She squealed softly, rearing up on her hind legs as Valdis nipped at her shoulder then slapped her. Paper-thin nostrils flared now, the mare's aura seemingly coming to life..Well, coming to death. She gave a flick of her ebony tassles, lifting a foreleg as if she wanted to take a strike at the mare. Her entire aura seemed to unfold before Valdis, the green halos of her eyes almost glowing behind her forelock as the scent of pure death enveloped her. However, she was already far enough into her little fury ride that she didn't notice the events taking place, as much as she tried to keep control.
"What's wrong with you?" she hissed, rounded audits flattening against her head as her gaze remained locked on the mare. Just her presence alone seemed to bring out the darker side of her persona. This was too much weirdness in one day for her--Aiden almost singing her, Nina losing control, freezing, and now a very rude mare--who seemed to be making a subconscious side of her come to life. Why wouldn't it stop? The troubled thoughts seemed to only add more to the mare's anxiousness, causing her to dig one of her hind daggers into the ground, slicing it once more as she'd done earlier. Something was off about the feeling of her mouth as well, something was different, very different. However, not too many horses can look at their own teeth without using a reflective surface..

Valdis Death its self...
"Welcome home." Valdis smirked, waiting until the other mare's temper faded away. Noticing her changes, she guessed that most had adapted to hiding their true forms so they could live among normally. "I am Valdis, Lady of The Death Herd. And you, are truely a Reaper."
The bitch smirked, streaked tassles swaying softly. "In other words, your whole world was a lie." Valdis gave a wicked laugh, crimson stained fangs showing under ivory lips. "You might as well get used to your new uses, like your powers, temper, personality and.. Fangs." Valdis again smirked, showing a set of her own.

Your mind's in disturbia, it's like the darkness is light.. Disturbia, am I scaring you tonight?Valdis' words hit the heart of her confusion with a brick. Home?..Where exactly was home--and why was it home? What was a reaper?.. She very well knew the definition of the word, but she didn't float around in a black cloak with a scythe taking lives..However, the true meaning behind the mare's words became all too clear to her when she mentioned the powers and fangs, causing her ears to prick up alertedly.
"Fangs? powers?.. what do you mean by a new personality.." She quickly trailed off, her face becoming emotionless--hints of shock and curiosity tearing away at her well being. Was she going to turn into Nina? She'd already somewhat lost her temper twice today, she was heading the same way. The mare's optics widened slightly as she shook her crown reluctantly. She couldn't bear the thought. She wasn't a normal horse--she was something far more dangerous, something she didn't like.. Or well, hadn't had the chance to like.
Valdis' words sunk into her like blades, ripping away old memories as if they were worthless sheets of paper. All of it was a lie. She'd been so afraid of Aiden..but could she have taken him on had she known better? Not like it mattered, she wasn't going to try something so risky, even if part of her did want to get a little...payback. Shadow's nostrils quivered lightly, calming down as she shook the endless stream of screaming thoughts from her head. This was home. Maybe one place where she wouldn't have to conform, somewhere where she'd be treated like kin.. Only time she'd felt such feelings of family were when she was at the shore, but the old Nina was dead and gone, and apparently, so was she. "I see.." her voice came across as a whisper, the mare finally coming to terms with the reality of her life. She couldn't just call it quits, it was her bloodline--and a part of her old persona seemed to shine through the haze of it all, accepting the news with warmth. Such a part of her, however, only wanted one thing. Revenge.

Valdis Death its self... "Darling, it might take some time to get used to your new life. Oh, I need your name." Valdis began to circle the other mare, which was almost a whole hand taller than her. "If your not loyal to the Death Herd, don't forget that I could easily snap your neck or kill you." The bitch smirked.

Your mind's in disturbia, it's like the darkness is light.. Disturbia, am I scaring you tonight? Shadow nodded as she spoke, realizing that this would..definitely need some getting used to before she went off to her normal lifestyle. Well, not really normal..Things would probably never be the same, but she had to get used to this before she could even attempt to make it feel normal once again. "My name's Shadow Dancer," she said, ebony tassles flicking about her tassles in a more relaxed manner, far more relaxed than their previous anxious state.
"and you?" she asked, tilting her head lightly as she watched the vixen. That's when another truckload of curiosity seemed to hit her. She knew how she'd come here..but why? Did she have a subconscious homing instinct? But the bigger question--Who was this mare, and how did she know that she wasn't normal?

Valdis Death its self... "Valdis, as I told you before. I am Lady of The Death Herd, I reign over the Reapers." Valdis nodded, stopping in front of Shadow, streaked tassles swaying softly at her checkered hocks. The bitch paused for a few seconds, then spoke again. "Welcome to Terra Della Morte, which from Italian to English is Land of Death. Which suites us, the Reapers." Valdis gave a small, wicked laugh before getting bored with the situatuion. Valdis has a short-tension spand, and usually only payed enough attention to hear the minimum of what people had to say. Which might've been an annoying habit to others, but to her it kept her life from getting dull. Oh yeah, and killing kept her life from dullness.
"I would ask how you've managed to cover your true form, but I don't think you know. You seem surprised and dazed about the whole situation." Valdis had trailed off to graze a few feet away, but paused from ripping the grass from it's roots with her sharpened fangs. Valdis was an omnivore and a blood drinker, which was actually good for her, but very very unusual for a equine. In fact, it was unheard of. But many didn't know about Isola, or the Elementals that were brewing again.

MORANA[/sup] Hungry. Hungry. Hungry. Just one last taste. then she'd move on. Orbs glittered menacingly with dark, scanning the surroundings with intricate detail: there were a few horses, majority faes, wondering around aimlessly. One stag stood out, not particularly tall but muscular, a lot of meat on his bones, a light for definate, and from the expression on his face he'd just been banished from his lands. Perfect. Light blood always tasted the sweetest, and noone would miss him. He began to walk away, but Morana wouldn't have that. She dissapeared, appearing a few paces behind him, and just as her velvet maw opened to speak to him a deafening scream erupted from a vixen not far from where she had been previously, followed by high pitched, hysterical vocals, "Sh-she's one of t-them! RUN!" Angry snarl erupted from her kissers, she'd simply wanted a nice clean kill. Now this mare had to go and piss her off. Rage bubbled beneath the surface of her blue and bottle green pelt, eyes darkening beyond belief, upper lip curling back to reveal a fine set of gleaming fangs.
Anger took over, the death vixen trully seeing red. Darkness fell like a cloak, horses scrambling and tripping in startled hysteria, and Morana dissapeared right next to the fae that had begun it. Her sweet lyrics sang out, an edge that seemed colder than the sharp side of a blade easily distinguishable, "You could have survived this if you'd have kept your little trap shut, I was only going to take one. Do you understand hunger? True hunger? I'm insatiable, i'm never full. And trust me, i've eaten a few massive stallions in my time" she chuckled, before launching from her hindquarters and clenching her teeth around her throat, ragged her to the floor like a doll, before ripping and tearing as much as she liked. Morana stood, spat out a mouthful and a look of utter distaste scattered over her cranium, "You taste disgusting, so, I'm just gonna leave you there to bleed to death, while I pick myself a tastier friend. Goodnight.." She sauntered away. dissapeared and found the first stag she had taken a liking to - by now the blood lust was so strong that she just clamped herself onto his corrated artery in his neck, using practised precision so that she didn't waste a drop. Once he was drained dry, his blood some of the sweetest she had tasted in a long while, and ate a small amount of his flesh before dragging the carcass off to a river, nudging him in and washing her chest, 'cleaning up after a meal'. The vixen knew that the death herd's lands had been reinstated, and began to head in that direction in a steady, flowing canter, still bloated after dinner. She made it there in quicker time than she had guessed, and slid to a stop not far from the small gathering of horses that stood round, talking. Black patterned pillars strode forwards, before she spoke out politely, "Sorry to interrupt, I'm Morana. It's a pleasure to meet fellow death horses that share my opinion on food" She chuckled, smiling darkly. [/blockquote]
