La Fiamma Di Inferno She burns like the sun And I can't look away And she'll burn our horizons Make no mistake Bitter, coal orbs danced along the hazy horizon of Terra de Fuoco, not the first pair either. Bellezza. A psychotic snarl ripped from a petite, fire red chest, the sound echoing around the valley like the roar of a lioness; simply thinking of her sibling drove Inferno to rage. Angry flames spouted at her flame-ridden pillars, usually cold orbs glowing like two rubies as they took in the view of her hopefully new home. Bellezza had been easy to overcome, and she’d enjoyed toying with her until she cracked, following her to the edge of the lands where she had sent her back ‘home’. Being twins they were extremely similar physically, although Inferno’s pelt was a couple of shades darker, a richer red, and some say if you look closely that her orbs were darker, like the deepest pit of hell. One major difference separated them; their personality. They say that everything comes in twos, like ying and yang or light and dark. It isn’t hard to find out who is the darkest out of these two.
Bellezza had always been the favourite one, the first to walk, the first to conjure a fireball. Or so they thought. By the time Bellezza had only just primarily found her powers, Inferno was able to summon balls of magma larger than her own body. Not one to boast, she didn’t tell; besides, she didn’t want the attention, unlike her show-off sibling. Spitting fire at the ground the dry grass erupted into flames, Inferno controlling the fire so it didn’t spread but allowing it to sweep higher into the air, entwining into intricately patterned swirls. Sighing softly the flames disappeared, and she went back to thinking of her past. How she hated her sister. Everyone had loved her outgoing and bubbly character, whereas Inferno was classed as the freak; her intimidating stare one of her worst traits, some said it felt as if she was looking into your very soul.
Streaked banner slapped at her lithe frame, sparks spitting from the air and snatching at the air menacingly, deep red pelt shimmering in the intense sunlight, soft tassels sticking up in odd ruffles, fluttering softly in the heated wind. A random crow hopped around, digging at the ground for food, Inferno’s orbs glittering as she c.ocked her dainty head to one side, velveteen kissers tucking to form a malevolent grin. Without so much as a twitch of her fiery muzzle the crow’s wing began to smoke, it’s terrified screech echoing out, Inferno’s satanic laughter following it. After a while the crow suddenly exploded, random onyx feathers littering the floor, Inferno individually burning them uninterestedly. Slowly snaking her way through the Zunden lands in a silent canter she slid to a stop, making no noise, petite frame quivering slightly as she inhaled the scents of unknown equines. Grinding her pearly teeth solemnly she lowered her striking crown, nipping at the grass that blanketed the hard ground, just to have something to do. She stamped a coal dagger upon the soil, magma seeping through, easily controlled as it swirled up her pillars, forming a protective armour over her glossy pelt, the heat comforting her.
Thick lashes closed over her dark orbs, figuring she may as well wait until someone found her; she wasn’t in any hurry, the one they call Hell's Flame. Character played: Bellezza's darker twin, La Fiamma di Inferno.Muse: Good for me, longest post in a long time.Word count: 557

Aiden The Fire Lord The stag bent his crown down to the charred grass and yanked some up, tkaing the roots with it. He chewed the offending object with disgust on his features. Burning things was all fun and good, but when it came to edible articles, they should be left un-charred and fresh. Aiden wondered if all Zunden felt that way. For all he knew, he could be the only Zunden that didnt like eating the foliage burnt by the other herd members practising their powers, or from the magma that flowed inrandom rivers down the base of the volcano. He put his maw to the ground once more and ripped up another batch of burnt blades. Not apetising one bit.
Aiden shook his crown, as if to free himself of the nasty taste. "I should probably find something that isn't ruined to eat." he grumbled to himself. He was actually proud of his herd members for toying with their powers, but he wasn't too happy with them since they seemed to favour doing so over perfectly green grass. Well, now it would be perfectly brown and black grass. He would have to talk to them about that. That was one of the little things in life the ticked Aiden off to no end. A smug grin then crept onto his features as he thought to himself. If I continue to not say anyhting about it, they will eventually figure it out for themselves! Yes, that's perfect. Those twats will then have to trudge through the woods to get their meal. Then they will get the idea to stop playing their little games in main grazing grounds. Aiden snorted, pleased with his idea. Having to search for food would teach them. Since Aiden knew his land, he knew the spots that most equines wouldn't find to graze, and he was headed to one right now.
The sorrel based equid broke into a lopey canter as he made his lazy way to one of the 'secret spots'. Hopefully the herd members would stop the grass burning fairly soon. Aiden didn't really want to have to come this far every day. Or maybe it was a good thing that he did. You never know, he may just find some intruders to have a bit of fun with. A small smirk graced his facade at the thought. Maybe.
The Fire Lord slowed when he heard a sound. More specifically the cries of fear from some birds, most likely crows or ravens. Nasty buggers they were, always getting in the way. Aiden had been told once that the horses in Terra de Rocas had formed a close friendship with the nasty black gits. How ever they could was a mystery to him. Why would you want to be friends with one of those? Aiden answered his own question figuring that since those normal equines were scum, the fit right in with the birds.
A thought then occured to him. Something or someone had to have made those birds scream like that. It could be a wolf. Aiden had so much fun with wolves. Hell, he even had fun with whole wolf packs. He finally halted and looked to his left, where the 'secret spot' was, and then he looked to the right, where he heard the disturbance. Which one to choose? He was fairly hungry, but who knew what adventure lie ahead? But if he went that way, where the screaming birds were, he knew there to be small grazing spots. It was a win win situation. He would get both things he wanted, to eat and to see what was over there.
With a harsh flick of his ashen banner, he broke into a powerful trot, on the verge of becoming a canter. As he travelled through the forest. If you could really call it a forest that is. It was more like bare ground and scattered trees with small spots of foliage here and there. He could define it a a forest. What else would it be called 'an almost forest' or 'a bare place with scattered trees'? What ever, it's not like it made a differnce anyway. Forest it was.
Aiden's maroon orbs searched the land for any sign of aliving creature, other than bloody crows and ravens. It only took the stallion several more strides until he saw the form of a grazing equid in the distance. The sight made him come to a sudden halt. Luckily, he didn't make a sound whilst doing so. Although, if he saw this equine, they probably saw him. If the equine was a normal horse, they either were very stupid or they wanted to thrill by wandering into Terra de Fuocco. It wasn't a fun place to be if you were not of the Zunden breed. Even if they had partial Zunden blood, it would not save them. Aiden didn't want any horse with dirty blood setting hoof on his amazing terra. He just wouldn't have it.
The lead bared his ivories as he silently walked up to the strange equid ahead. Well it really wouldn't be called 'walking' more like stalking or prowling, like a large cat would. This equine would pay for setting foot here, and Aiden wasn't in any mood to let anybody live today. Amazingly enought there were those good days where Aiden would horribly maim a poor creature, but not enough to kill it, just let it suffer. Soemtimes he felt it was good that way; if he hurt them like that, others would see and fear the Fire Herd and their leader.
Aiden quickly shook his tiara and focused at the task on hand; finding out what the stranger was doing in his land and who the were. He lifted his rough maw into the thick, summer air and tested it. The equine seemed to be female. Well if she wasn't a Zunden, he would even have an eaiser time taking this down. He knew, for a fact, the the vixens that were of dirty blood were weak little wenches that could be taken care of if a Zunden was half asleep, just like little sparrows and chipmunks.
As the Fire Lord neared the vixen, he finally took in her appearence. She had to be Zunden, what other breed would have amrkings like her own? But, he thought, she could aslo be a Zunden cross, and I won't have any of that now will I? But to give her the least of doubt, he would talk to her as if she were full blooded, which she may be. He could now see that she had her optics closed, as if she was just waiting for somebody to find her there. "Hello." his voice raing out, deep and curt. "What are you doing here." It wasn't a question that she had the option to answer, no, he demanded it. He wanted to find out her business here, plus he was eager to find out if she was pure of blood, or if he could just waste her on the spot like a worthless vermin.
OOC// your muse made me have muse! yay! See when other people have muse, I do (or else listening to geese honk their heads off outside does it O.o). *huggles katie the muse bringer* Oh and, do you still have Bellezza, or is Inferno totally replacing her? I also apologise for any typos up there, I didn't use spell check coz my computer is running slow at the moment.
OOC Edit: Dang! I just like wrote awhole chapter for a book up there XD I must have been on a role! Now hopefully I have enough muse to reply with Aetas to make an awesome posteh.

La Fiamma Di Inferno She burns like the sun And I can't look away And she'll burn our horizons Make no mistake
Her body twitched oddly even as she napped, never quite at ease, her fire coloured radars still rotating as she intently listened to any noise, always prepared for predators that could creep up upon her, although she doubted there would be anything that could harm her; she’d been known to tackle whole packs of wolves, multiple bears without any effort. Mind drifting she looked back through her past, small flames igniting her streaked banner as she thought of her sister. She detested the way she looked so similar to her.
Sighing softly she shifted her weight, fiery pelt still encased in it’s protective magma armour, velvet flares wide. Thinking she heard a voice through the haze she pricked a radar, listening intently; the noise seemed to diminish and she eventually decided she’d imagined it, and went back to her relaxed state. Opening her jet orbs she glanced at the tough ground, her facial emotion showing disgust as she sighted the drying, yellow grass, supposing she’d have to wait until later for something to eat. She hadn’t eaten in a few days, but she was hardy and didn’t particularly care, although the occasional grumble of her stomach told her otherwise. Her body benefited from never being overfed, with no wobble from her lithe figure.
Another noise broke her relaxed state, and the thick lashes that covered her satanic flicked open only to see nothing again. A little frustrated she scanned along a row of gnarled, dried trees, no animal, equine or otherwise appearing. Staying silent she closed her coal orbs again, a small smile crossing her maw.
She dreamt of a small opening, enclosed with a ring of thick trees leading to a dense forest, and she was stood in the centre. The grass here was lush and ripe, and she lowered her dainty crown ever so slowly to it’s emerald softness, pearly teeth about to snap shut and feel the rich taste…
A rustle of a silken banner, hushed, creeping footsteps. Orbs snapped opening, glowing deeper and redder than two rubies, taking their time to return back to normal. Her stunning face was impassive as the stag approached, staring forwards as he sauntered to her armoured side. Hearing his clear vocals ring out through the humid air she remained still, almost as if his words hadn’t reached her relaxed radars. Heating her body the magma plates of the armour became molten, and slithered like glowing snakes down her glossy pelt, filing neatly through a small crack in the ground, revealing her small frame. Leisurely she turned to the stag, her movement controlled yet graceful, no emotion showing on her face in the slightest, except from maybe the teeniest of a smile tugging at one corner her flamed maw, giving her a slightly psychotic look. Mane stuck up in streaked ruffles, making her look all-the-more eccentric, but nothing compared to her sparkling orbs; darker than the deepest pit of hell they glittered like captured onyx gems, making even the most confident or powerful horses unable to maintain eye contact as some said it felt as if they were devouring your soul. She doubted that would be the case with this stag. Orbs locked onto his crimson ones, blood lust easily distinguishable in his, a silent chuckle rattling through her mind. A few minutes passed until she spoke, her vocals smooth like velvet, yet had a dark edge to them so bitter and twisted that it would send shivers up even the most dark horses’ spines, the noise echoing as she spoke, “Hello” with a polite nod of her head she accepted her new lead with a snort. He was a fine specimen of a stallion, something like what she had imagined - he was literally smouldering, with a well built frame and a stern face. Not one to be messed around. A good leader for the future leaders of Isola Dei Dei. She kept her introduction brief, “My name is Fiamma di Inferno, and I’m definitely sure that you have met my twin, Bellezza” her eyes brimming with flames as she spoke her name, smoke puffing from wide flares, she continued “And I’m afraid to say that I am pure Zunden, so no, you cannot kill me” her head c.ocked to the side, but her pretty face still remained unmoved. She never let her true emotions show, although some say the truth was that she didn’t feel anything, almost as if she wasn’t equine. Some freakish sub-species. It didn’t matter to her though, she couldn’t care less.[/blockquote] Character played: La Fiamma di Inferno Muse: Really good! Aiden The Last Fire Lord Aiden watched the vixen twitch in her slumber before shifting her weight to the other side. Aiden wondered what she was dreaming about. It was kind of odd for him to be wondering what this essa was dreaming about. He was not familiar with her, plus he didn't even know if she was pure Zunden or not.
But he had always fascinated by dreams, wether they were his own or not. He felt that they all had some meaning to them. He felt that they showed you the past, your desires, fears, and even bits of your future. They could even be a window to a past life, or a future one for that matter. Yes, Aiden was extremly drawn to the science of sleep.
The stag snorted and anrrowed his eyes at the intruder. Why had he let his mind wander like that? For all he knew, she could have woken up and tried to run away while he was in a little world of his own there. Aiden seemed to be fading in and out like thta more often. Maybe it was because his herd was growing and the Zunden breed was growing stronger by the day. That had to be it, just a lot on his plate. He never ever would mind ramble like that. Ever. So why now? Even if it was the growing herd, it shouldn't make him think about pointless little things like wondering what some random essa was dreaming about as she twitched in her slumber.
Aiden was glad that he focused back on her, because when he did she turned to face him. Aiden took a small step forth and looked the mare over. She was strong, or so she looked it. She seemed to have all the right markings for a Zunden. On fact, she looked almost just like the sarcastic mare Bellezza. Sisters perhaps?
The vix's face was stoic as she turned to face him. She sure did have the blank, emotionless facade of a Zunden. That went without a doubt. Aiden was then aware that the femme had locked orbs with him. This was something that no normal horse dared to do. Hell, even most other Elementals wouldn't do it. She was eithre one of him, or she was extremly stupidd.
Aiden's auds flicked as she spoke out a simple greeting to him. The only thing that the Fire Lord did was twitch the left corner of his mouth a bit, mostly because a fly landed there. Aiden waited for a moment and raised his brow, waiting for some kind of explination. Yes, she had greeted him, now what? Did she think she could just stand there and look at him? If this vix wanted to staand and stare at stallions she could go to the breeding lands. But then again she did nod her crown while greeting him, so that had to mean that she wanted in the herd.
Aiden flicked his sooty banner as she started to speak again, telling him that she was pure Zunden, and, as he had suspected, Bellezza's twin sister. "Well, you may have ruined my fun, but I am happy that another Zunden has found their way to this land."
he told her. "I am Aiden, but you probably already knew that." the stag said, nodding his crown. Most horses on the isle knew this brute's name. [/blockquote]

La Fiamma di Inferno.
And she smiled as she locked sparkling eyes with the devil..; She could feel his hot gaze fall upon her back, and her sparkling coal eyes snapped open, a little agitatedly. Still no emotion was shown across her perfect features, and her lithe frame stood stock still, streaked tail billowing light in the gentle breeze that trickled through the Zunden lands. Watching his crimson orbs narrow with suspicion she raised her brow a little, not at all uncomfortable with his cool stare, returning the gesture with the sharpening her own orbs, thick lashes closing ever so slightly.
Watching his powerful body take a step forward she didn’t move, just raised her crown an inch, taking a more dominant pose. No stag would ever make her cower in the corner. A few had tried, and well, lets just say they weren’t as much stallion anymore; a crooked smile sauntered onto her velvet kissers at the –to her- hilarious memories. Still, he didn’t look like most of the other stags she had met: they were all puny figures compared to him, his coat shimmering in the intense light and his well formed muscles rippling under his skin, showing top health. A feeling welled in her dainty barrel, something so unknown to her it took her a while to figure out what it was… lust. She was slightly repulsed, but mainly shocked to her core. Inferno was always in control of her body. Every second. She was angry at herself for showing such weaknesses, and flames flared furiously through her usually jet orbs, embarrassment flowing through her body as easily as her heated blood. Swiftly controlling her unusual urges she dragged them beneath the cool waters of her stony exterior, tying them securely and no sign of her lust showed on her face, or petite bodice. Wondering why she had felt this way she looked back to the stag, gaze indifferent, his angry gaze seeming to bore into her soul just like hers usually did; she hoped he couldn’t see what she was thinking. With those feelings subdued and being back to her normal unmoved self she returned her attention back to the present.
She saw his mouth twitch slightly, but then realised it was only a fly landing that had caused it – and there she was about to think “Wow, the ice king can show emotion” but she shouldn’t mock, she was just as bad. A hypocrite. She’d heard from others that he was stony and unmoveable, but she thought that it was the right way to be; after all he should only have his mind on the job in hand. Taking over IDD.
It was amusing her, the way he was almost getting annoyed at her silence. Averting her gaze she stooped her head low, finding the best patch of grass possible and ripping a portion off eagerly, raising her crown again and chewing deliberately slowly, almost leisurely. Another crow flew overhead, probably wondering what had happened to it’s friend. Stupid things. A ball of fire ignited around it in a perfect circle, it’s startled screech echoing through the air as it burnt. The high-pitched sound annoyed her receptive radars, and with another pop a thick field of magma surrounded it, getting smaller and smaller until it completely covered the bird, condensing until it was the size of a chicken’s egg, only a perfect sphere. With a soft thud it fell to the ground, and Inferno allowed the ground to swallow the magma back up, taking the annoying pest with it. A dim red glow was emitting from her orbs, and she swiftly removed a psychotic grin that had crept onto her mouth without her noticing. As he spoke she c.ocked her head to the side again, before replying “Actually, you haven’t really gained any more numbers. Bellezza is gone” she spoke the words uninterestedly, before continuing, “And for the record, I didn’t know your name.” Strictly that wasn’t true, she had heard it whispered among others but it seemed as though his high ego might have needed a little jab in the side – and she wasn’t afraid to give it. Aiden The Last Fire Lord
Aiden mentally noted that when he took a step forward, the vixen riased her crown a bit higher. This was something......new. All the other Zunden, vixens and stags included, would always bow their pretty little heads to him, sometimes even getting down on one knee to honour their great and powerful lord. She was the first Zunden to attempt to show some dominance. As for the head bowing Zunden, they would just have kept their tiaras low, submitting to him when they first met him. It was strange to have an equine, especially a mare like this one, who would stand up to his high position like this one. Something was different about her, and Aiden liked it.
The Fire Lord tried to place what he actually 'liked' about the vixen. Sure she had almost openly challenged his status, but that wasn't it. Well it could be for all Aiden knew. It was pretty sad, half the time Aiden didn't even know what he liked about a certain equine except for qualities that would make the herd stranger. He had never really paid much, if any, attention to feelings and emotions. He used to, a wee bit, but then Fire's Romance had to go and do the unacceptable. That stupid incident with the Veggenti in the breeding grounds had made Aiden even colder than he was before. Now he was basically Aiden, the living, evil statue.
Aiden noticed that her orbs flicked to his velvety maw when he had twitched his mouth to rid himself of that bloody fly. What is she thinking? he wondered. She obviously had some thoughts on his little mouth movement. Why was it such a big deal to him anyway? He was just getting rid of a fly! He was letting himself get a bit paranoid. She probably looked to se what had made him twitch. Aiden knew that other equines spoke of him as an emotionless, cold-hearted hellion. And that is what he was going to remain for hte rest of his life.
Aiden's maroon optics follwoed her as she walked around, in an almost pleasureable manner, and began to take bites of vegitation the scattered the ground. She was doing this to make him angry and annoyed. Maybe it had begun to bother him, but he remained stoic. He wouldn't let a petty mare like this get to him in any way, shape or form. He had that fact proven a number of times in his past.
The don's auds flicked as an ebony crow screeched and cawed up in the sky. Bloody birds. Crows had to be one of the most unpleasant, obnoxious, totally pointless animals that roamed the island. They didn't even deserve to be born. A sneer of disgust crept up on Aiden's features as he watched the obsidian animal swoop around the tree tops. The Fire Lord was just about to do somehting to take care of it, when the vixen seemed to have the exact same idea. The cvixcen had conjured a ring of fire around the panicked bird. As it flew aimlessly around, she called upon the magma to engulf it, turning it into a little stone of magma as it fell to the earth, only to blend in with the rest of the fiery liquid that ran through Terra di Fuoco.
Aiden's orbs returned to the vix when she started to speak. Bellezza was gone? Since when had this happened? More importantly, how did this happen? Bellezza didn't seem to Aiden to be the type of equine to just up and leave, but as they say, never judge a book by it's cover. Something then struck Aiden; what the hell was a book anyway?
The essa then said that she didn't know his name. Aiden was actually surprised to find out this little tid bit of infomation. How had she not heard of him? The whole isle was talking about him. Of course some might not know his name and just call him 'the Fire Lord'. Perhaps the henna had been one of the unlucky ones not to catch his calling. At least she had it now.
"You're Bellezza's sister." he said to her after a moment of silence. It didn't take him long to figure that one out at all. And if this mare was anyhitng like her sister, he would be expecting some witty, sardonic remark spurting out of her dainty mug. They really would be two of a kind then.

La Fiamma di Inferno How to keep people at arms length and never get too close,
How to mistrust the ones who supposedly love the most... She was surprised at the amount of indifference this stag showed, his face a handsome mask, unreadable to all, even to her, who was surprisingly good at it - maybe she should have been a Veggenti, yet the though alone made her want to gag; if there was one thing she could never be prouder of, it was the pure zunden blood running through her veins.
Indifference is the coldest emotion of all, even more bitter than hate, or revenge; it meant you had gone beyond that, and are so cruel and twisted that you didn't feel anything. Just as this stag seemed to be like. There was no emotion at all on his cranium, his crimson orbs seeming just as unmoved. That was one of Inferno's only problems - the fact that her coal orbs glittered with flames whenever a strong emotion fell over her petite frame, with tended to be never, or when she thought of her damned sister, and something as subtle as this internal mention of her sparked this again. Closing her orbs she reopened them once she was sure they had 'calmed' themselves, although they did flash like the colour of the setting sun once before settling back to their usual dead black.
She dragged herself back to the present and found the stag's crimson orbs locked once again with hers, and he seemed to be -with no success she hoped- attempting to read the stern facade of her beautiful face. Good luck to him; her face was almost as unmoved as his, although the bright flames on her soft muzzle seemed to shimmer and move in the light of the sun, which had dimmed slightly since the summer was over. Fiery red coat gleamed through health, although her streaked mane was ruffled and untamed-looking. She'd never particularly cared about taking care of her body for vanity reasons, that was more her sister's sort of thing, although she denied it, but Inferno made sure she was in peak physical fitness - she never gorged herself on food, simply ate until the empty groan of her stomach had ceased to exist; never drank so much water she was bloated and had therefore built up a tough body that could run on the bare minimums - after all, in lands that the Zunden inhabited the water was scarce; and she had top stamina from running for days on end, her lithe bodice slim and dainty, although feminine muscles still rippled under the silky skin. Perfect for battle.
After she had spoke of her sister -which included her pillars randomly igniting, smoke pouring from her refined nose- her eyes glanced back to the stag, who although tried to hide it, looked kind of puzzled. Her voice softly broke through the air like a knife, which probably would have been uncomfortable to most but no silence was bad to Inferno, in fact she reveled in it and almost didn't want to speak, "Yes, Bellezza has.. gone. Permanantly." Her eyes flashed psychotically with red, and a warped smirk took over her kissers as much as she tried to control it. When he asked, well no, more stated that she was Bellezza's sister she almost spat out a rude remark but caught herself just in time, grinding her ivories together - any talk of her sister infuriated her. Taking a deep breath she didn't break from her again dominant and strong pose, and spoke quietly out, "Yes, I am afraid I am" she spat a mouthful of flames to the ground, the crackling working it's way up an already dead tree - she wouldn't waste any of the greener grass, supposing it would be rare in a land this hot and dry. The gentle snapping and hissing of the flames relaxed her tense body, her crown lowering an inch but still not bowing to the stag's dominance, before she continued, "The only thing we are alike in is blood, and anyone that dares to call me by my sister's name with be making a grave mistake." Her voice was low and rough, not making the statement to him but simply declaring her detestment for her sister. Actually, it wasn't even detestment, it was indifference, just as Aiden has written across his face - detestment suggested there was still a heart flickering away inside her cold, stone chest. She'd been told by some that you always have to love your family, but they were severely wrong there - and usually it was the last thing they did wrong. Ever.[/blockquote] Character played: La Fiamma di Inferno Muse: Good for me. Word count: 757 Song inspiration: 8 easy steps (iLOVEit.) Singer/band: Alanis Morissette

Aiden The Last Fire Lord Aiden's audits flicked as she repleid to his question. Well actually it wasn't a question, it was more of a statement, to let her know that it was obvious that she was siblings with Bellezza. Aiden couldn't really understand why some, well more like most, of the herd members were never fond of Bellezza. He had grown to liking the mare. Maybe he could do the same with her sister, since Bellezza was not around anymore.
This made Aiden think of the control and abilities of Inferno's powers to have, erm, taken care of her sister like she had. Aiden hadn't been there, where ever there was, to witness it. If it had gone down in his land he was sure he would have known about it. No, Inferno and Bellezza must have settled there issues elsewhere. If any other living creature had been there for that battle, their ashes were probably mixed in with the dirt on the ground that other equids trodded upon, not once giving it a thought that something so horrible could have happened there.
There was one thing that Aiden loved about the normals horses and some of the other elementals. They were idiots. Naive idiots. They just pottered around the island thinking they owned parts of it, gathering little wenches for their 'herds', if you could even call them herds. The some of the stags would strut around, acting like the were bad asses. It always made Aiden laugh. Especially the real c.ocky ones who, if he happened to walk by 'their bitch', would want to fight him for her. He never even wanted her anyway. So he would fight the stag, killing him all to easily and doing thie same to 'his girl'. Stupid, naive idiots the lot of them were.
Aiden lazily flicked his tail, watching the vix with uninterested orbs as she spoke again. He really was expecting some witty, sardonic reply from her, but he didn't get it. He figured she didn't want to be too much like her sister, which would be hard since she looked almost the same in appearance. Whatever. Aiden snorted and said "Well then, welcome to the herd Inferno. Only rule here is don't burn all the grazing foliage please. We'll need it for the colder months." he told her in a bland voice. He then bent his crown down to graze, not caring if she stayed or if she wandered off. Grazing was what he came to do in this spot in the first place.

La Fiamma di Inferno. I only have one burning desire,
Let me stand next to your fire... Inferno watched him through sombre orbs as his sorrel radars flicked at her reply, obviously expecting some sarcastic, 'witty' remark that would have spouted from her wretched sister's mouth, and gazed coldly yet boldly into his crimson eyes as she spoke out softly, "I suppose you were expecting a different response, and you have to understand that I do share similarities to my... sister, after all, we do share the same blood"
- she added cruelly in her mind, "At least we did, although hers is mainly spilt over the border of Terra di Fuoco." A smile that wouldn't have looked wrong on the lips of the devil crossing her own, before she continued, "But I do not intend to be the same as her. At all." Her voice was cool like a winter breeze -although Zundens usually didn't feel the cold unless it was their own distant hearts-, calm, collected, but also quite sweet and melodic: pleasing on the ears. It was quiet too, the sound barely covering the distance between them; afterall, they do say it's the quiet ones you have to watch out for, or the usually silent ones in Inferno's case. She thought back to her childhood, the memories which would have been painful to most not even stinging Inferno's cold interior. Like the ones where she had always been second best to her sister, or... she stopped there, that memory being the only one she never digged up. How little her family knew. They thought she hadn't discovered her powers until she was 2, but they were mistaken. By then she had mastered them, creating new ideas and testing them on... well, anything or anyone that happened to be around. Returning his gaze with dark orbs as unmoved as his own she listened, her body language relaxed but still dominant, nodding curtly as he spoke. She stiffened up a little as he began to move, her fiery crown raising an inch but she soon loosened her tense muscles as she realised he was only shifting to walk away, accidently releasing a small but potent amount of her intoxicating scent, not meaning to do it in a provocative way. She didn't really care, and didn't think the stag would even notice. It mixed with his own aroma that seemed to radiate from his large frame, shouting out his dominance and leadership. Not that she'd noticed. In reply to him she said, "Thank you for accepting me into the herd Aiden. And of course I understand that, although no Zunden ever has to be cold" her pelt igniting for a second before it dimmed almost instantly. She began to walk slowly away, silky tail slashing lazily at the cooling air, not even looking behind once. The grass before Aiden's maw suddenly started turning yellow and crispy as she sapped the liquid from it, her powers controlled, wondering if she would get any response out of him. She doubted it. A sliver of magma flowed through a crack in the ground and tumbled gracefully through the slightly damp air as Inferno lowered her soft muzzle to the grass, shredding it efficiently, her chews calculated and controlled, almost mechanic. Actually, you'd probably get more emotion out of a machine. Just play with me,[/blockquote] And you [won't] get burnt. Aiden The Last Fire Lord Aiden lifted his crpwn a bit as she spoke. Yes, they shared the same blood and it was noticable. Inferno said she didn't want to be anyhting like her sister Bellezza, but she would have to try harder. Obviously she couldn't help the looking the same part of it, they were twin sisters after all.
Since the looks couldn't be helped, Inferno's persona sure did. Even thought she wasn't Bellezza, she acted like her more than she probably thought she did. Aiden could tell she was sardonic like her sister, she just bit her tongue and held retorts back so she wouldn't be like her sister. The one major difference from her and her sister was the likability factor. Aiden took a liking to Inferno much faster than he had with Bellezza. Maybe trying to hold back her persona wasn't a good thing. If she just acted the way she was born to, she would become a ruthless leader.
Aiden was surprised at his thinking. He had practically just made her the Fire Lady. What was he thinking? He just met the vix for heaven's sake! But then again, he didn't really form bonds with any of his herd members, he had appointed them in higher posistions just a few weeks after gathering the large group.
The Fire Lord's auds flicked as she thanked him for accepting her into the herd. Why was she thanking him? She was already a member of the herd when she was born with her pure blood. All pure blooded Zunden were already part of the herd, they just had to find Fuoco, present themselves to the Fire Lord so the could be marked pure or impure. Aiden hadn't met any impures yet, but when he did, he was sure to have some fun with them.
"Yes, it's true we do not get cold, but the foliage seems to die out once it snows in the rest of land. No matter how warm this terra is, the grass and shrubs won't grow in the cold. Our breed has tried for centuries." he stated between mouthfuls of emerald blades of the grass that was still good. As said, the Zunden couldn't feel cold, but they could tell by the thin air that it was getting close to winter and that they should eat as much as possible before all dies. Well, even the dead stuff tasted semi-good to them, but it was better to eat fresh, living grass.
Aiden lifted his crown, looked to Inferno and said. "I am probably going to call a herd meeting in a few days, so keep on the listen for the call."
