Aniland everyday is the worst day ever
Anil, to say the very least, was not pleased with the events that had taken place this past winter. First, there was the uprising war among elemental and normal equines. Then, that vagabond, Masquerade, had welcomed himself into the Rocas herd. Conveniently enough, the wretch’s mate, Rosabella had met an untimely death. This buckskin stallion had become rather close to the brindled essa, and no sooner than he had… she was gone. He blamed Masquerade entirely.
Brown orbs watched as the stallion paced angrily through the undergrowth of the outlands. Fiana knew why Anil was angry – everybody knew. The one downfall to the ravens was that they did not know how to keep their beaks shut.
“Her death was not at his hands, Anil. The ravens happened upon her and said it was the Zunden at hand... And, hell, the winter was a harsh one. We lost two in its course, and I am as upset about it as you, but it would not be wise to start a quarrel about something we could not control.”
The buckskin paused for a moment before shaking his head and continuing to pace to and fro. “No, Fiana, I think he is bad news..”
Fiana grimaced slightly before nodding to acknowledge his statement. “Leave me to make that decision, for the sake of the herd.” Her words were firm, and Anil knew she meant business, but that was no guarantee that he would not act.the worst day ever - simple plan Fiana

Phantom The ivory mare plucked her way through the melting snow. She was so glad that spring was finally here. Phantom couldn't stand the cold, but she was always hardy enough to survive. Sure she blended in splendidly with the snow, but her winter coat never grew out real long for some reason.
The Arab huffed and broke into a jog. Hopefully she would find some of the other herd members today, she had been alone almost all winter since she had moved to the outer regions where there was more food for the cold months. The only company the small mare had had out there was that of the ravens, a deer or two, and a rabbit she had befriended.
The ivory Arabian slowed to a halt as she came upon the sight of her leader Fiana and her fellow warrior Anil. The fae lifted her crown and whinnied a greeting to them as she quickly jogged up. The essa took to note the depressed expression on Anil's face and the concerned one on Fiana's. Phantom knew that several herd members had been lost this winter. A few had passed to to the frigid temperatures and lack of anything and everything green.
She had heard from the ravens that Rosabella had been killed by the Zunden, and that Masquerade was going mad with revenge. Such sad times. Phantom could tell that Anil was upset about the brindled mare. She knew that the two had bonded quite closely over tha past year and a half.
Phanotm closed her orbs for a moment and let out a small breath before opening them again. "Greetings Fiana," she said with a bob of her crown and then turned to Anil and gave him a small, almost forced smile. "Anil."
