Body Structure;;

The Reaper mares are very small built, yet the stallion have a large build. They usually have a small cranium with a dished face and the curved ears of a Marwari or Kathiawari. They have long slender legs, which are usually decorated with tattoos. Their necks are slender, yet muscular and very powerful. Their nostrils are paper-thin and can pick up scents from weeks back, and from miles away. They have slender bodies, yet very powerful. Their blows pack alot of power if you ever anger one. The stallions are always larger than the femmes, mainly in muscle. The stallions are usually taller, also. The stallions' height ranges from 15.1 hh to 17.3 hh. Mares' height ranges from 14 hh to 15 hh.


GRIMS;; Grims are a slightly different genetic of the Reapers, but are of the same breed and share exactly the same behaviors and structures, except that the Grims are skeletons, to be exact. Some often smell of rotting flesh, like the Grims. The Grims are skeletal horses, with eyes of pure black, white, grey or fire. The Grims are also immortal, and share almost exactly same powers, but they cannot disappear and reappear or 'fly'. If Grims and Reapers cross, which is not a big deal and very common, the foal is often half and half. Example, they would take the coat of the Reaper parents and have certain patches of no coat and no flesh where there were just skeleton like patches like their other parent. The Grims are capable of paralyzing their victim with a single look. Hence why the Death Herd is so feared. [/font][/size][/left]

Behavior;;

The Reapers usually gain pleasure from death and killing and pain. Yet, they are also known as the 'grim reapers' or the angels of death. When an equine is near death, they usually appear and guide the creature to death, but if the victim can show the reaper that it has the will to live on, or should/need to live, the reaper will grant the victim it's wish to live.[The chosen one usually carries a syth marking]. The stallions usually protect the femmes in battle and from other stallions if they are mates or care enough about each other[or good friends]. Some, who love killing, sometimes act as vampires, killing[and/or drinking the blood alive to watch them suffer] and drinking the blood of the victim, and rarely, some eat part/all of the corpse. But the one's who do tend to drink and consume other creatures are a very rare case, and rarely appear. [/color][/font][/blockquote]

Powers;;

The Reaper's are very powerful. Very, very powerful. First of all, they are immortal, and very hard to kill. They are still capable of foaling, in fact, Reapers happen to have more than one foal often. And when they have more than one foal, they are more likely to survive because of their immortality and because other equines are afraid of what the foal could do to them. Now, the Reapers are able to disappear, and reappear when ever and where ever they please. They are able to turn into floating forms and 'fly' in the air, but they are able to be seen. When they decide to disappear, they leave a fine black or grey dust, also. When they fly, they are able to be seen because it turns into a cloud of dust, or if they want, you are able to see various parts of them like their heads and necks. [if you've seen Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, it's like the bad guys... yah.]
The Reapers are also cable of killing a creature with a look or touch if they are powerful enough. When angry, they are able to darken the area and give it a nasty, death-like aura and smell. Some often smell of rotting flesh, like the Grims. The Grims are skeletal horses. They are also capable of invading someone's dreams if they are not protected. To be protected, you must sleep nearby or with another being to keep them from invading. They are heartless.
Another power is that they can control spirits or ghosts, the spirits who have not crossed yet. If a spirit is trapped on Earth, the Lord or Lady or the chosen one, will guide the soul to the other side. If it chooses to stay, they will allow the spirit to stay. The Reapers are also capable of transferring themselves to the afterlife to retrieve souls[or spirits] to come back for an amount of time and allow them to see loved ones, or they can call them back to help them in battle. Also, the Reapers can produce a toxic venom from their fangs when they want, but they usually like to kill others slowly and have a fair battle, so they rarely use their venom.

But they can be killed. They breath like normal equines, but you would have to behead one for them to die completely. You could also burn them, drown them, freeze them[pretty much a normal horse, except they have power]

Foals;;

A Reaper foal's powers are new to the foal, and it's very critical in it's first year that it gets those powers under their control, or the consequences to the ones around the foal and to itself are highly dangerous. And if the foal is introduced to meat at a young age, it will become a carnivore and possibly eat other foals if it is angered enough. A foal's venom does not come in until two years, though, which makes it slightly less dangerous. But foals are usually normal, besides that their death machines.[/font][/size][/center]

Reply to this thread when creating your Reaper or Grim. I will only allow a certain amount of Grims to keep to numbers kind of even between the two. Please PM me if you want your's to be the Chosen. There can be only one chosen and I will accept the first person who PMs me. The Chosen one is also called The Syth, so if you want to call it that, it's fine with me. PLEASE KEEP YOUR REAPERS ACTIVE. I will PM or contact you if you keep it inactive, because I've poured hours into this breed. The Death herd does not treat the Reaper mares like filth, so keep that to the normal mares.
The Lord sends certain stallions to get normals mares of their choice to keep as toys. If a mare is to get pregnant by a Reaper, which is not supposed to happen often[please see me about that], they will keep the foal and possibly the mare if she survives the foal. If she does not, they will set the foal on a foster mother. And if the foal has a fault or is weak, they will most likely throw out the foal and mother or kill the foal.
The Reapers don't take in normal equines, and will only take in crossbreeds if they are half or more Reaper.
They could be overthrown, like they were so long ago. They have a weakness, but they try to keep in secret. If it were to fall in the wrong hands, they could easily die out again.
They will not be in the war, for they try to remain neutreal. They try not to get into fights, and are usuall docile creatures. But their temper usually gets the best of them, and they go into a blind rage. If your standing too close, then.. Your most likely to be injured. Some often hate being immortal, and often hate life. They are true darks at heart, but try to keep it down inside them for another day. They are not near perfect, they have a bad temper, usually have a personality disorder and sometimes have a slight limp due to a bad gene. [/size][/font][/ul]

Marking Description|| Dark lines and whirls almost completely cover Styx’s vast frame. However, due to the inherent darkness of his fur in the first place, the markings are almost indistinguishable. Only in certain lights or angles are the markings visible- and each brief glimpse offers only tribal patterns, vague images enveloped by the encompassing blackness of his fur.

Heritage|| Stygian appears to be chillingly average to the naked eye. At first glance he appears to be little more than a large quarter horse, boasting no marvellous colours or visible marks of the arcane. However, from a very early age he put his ability to fly under the radar to particularly good use.
For a creature who is born to be inherently malicious, he was raised by a mother who was born with the good fortune of an uncommonly level head. His mother was the only mare his father would tolerate for an extended period- frequently they would stumble on ‘normal’ mares, who would come with them for a time and occasionally bare foals before inevitably becoming food for the worms.
His nomadic lifestyle and the wisdom of his mother in contrast with the blunt typical savagery of his father left him with traits most uncommon in Reapers: humility for one, and a sense of decency, the occasional flash of mercy reserved only for those most deserving.

Diet|| Omnivorous- the taste of grass is inglorious and bland to his palate, but there are times when fresh meat is unavailable or impractical.

Personality|| Stygian is a sardonic creature, of a sharp mind. He is entirely aware that he was born into a hereditary culture of death and darkness; many a time he would watch his sire slaughter creatures with a sharp lash from a rapier-edged hoof, sometimes little more than a nudge or a glance.
He has a degree of nobility, and prefers not to murder those who are entirely undeserving of such cruelty. Reaper stallions who venture into neutral territory for the sole purpose of wreaking havoc on innocent lone mares far weaker and smaller than they sicken him- what strength is there in torturing a helpless creature? It is the act of a coward, and there is little that sickens him more than cowardice.
However, hostility is as familiar as the air he breathes and he will not hesitate to act appropriately if confronted with a creature who irks him.

Crowley has a sleek, 'bad' look to him that causes horses to be intrigued by him. He has a very laid back and cool temperament, which can actually cause other horses to get a bit mad at him. He is a very smooth talker and quite the con man. Crowley can be very sarcastic and his humour is, naturally, very dark. He he is very likable and he likes to charm other horses and form 'alliances' with the lot of them. He is always very presentable and almost gives a humourous side to the death herd. He isn't angered easily, but when he is, all hell breaks loose. He is very energetic and seems to have a bit of ADD, seeing as he can never stand still for too long. (not to mention he can be distracted easily) He has a very smooth voice with a slight southern English accent. (as in south England, not southern like in America. Just clearing that up) At times he can be helpful and generous to those who need it, but he always has an ulterior motive that most likely benefits him in some way. Crowley sometimes likes to speak in riddles and cryptic messages and metaphors that may, or may not have a meaning. He leaves that up to the person listening to him. He is a very intelligent horse even though he may not show it most of the time.

Mane||Black(#1), with sooty streaks of grays, and white(#2, 3, 4). His mane will be long and flowing, like tendrils of smoke in the wind, and slightly wavy.
Tail||Black(#1), with sooty streaks of grays, and white(#2, 3, 4). His tail will also be long, reaching the ground, and trailing slightly. It will be slightly wavy.
Eyes||Bright #15, with a ring of black around the outside. flecks of black within.
Hooves||His hind hooves, and right fore-hoof are all black, #1, his left fore-hoof is Pure white, #2
Heritage||Pure blood Reaper, Parents are both unknown.
Diet||Having been introduced to meat early on, he has a savage taste for it, especially blood that comes with it.
Personality||He is extremely temperamental, but only when he wants to be, it seems, or when he can get something out of it. He is fiercely loyal, although, almost to the point of foolishness. If he trusts you, despite being a half-mad foal, he will do anything to protect you.

Being that he is pretty much a loner, he never had proper teachings for his powers. he wanders in the shadows, with powers he has been mastering by himself since he was barely a few months old. There is debate over whether his powers are haywire or not, seeing as they can be spontaneous, and not always have the desired effect.
